Dr. Aaron is one of the most knowledgeable and skilled pediatric dentist in town. In addition, his calm demeanor helped reassure my son when he was nervous. My son needed to extract 4 adult premolar teeth, I went to two other oral surgeons for consult (the other oral surgeons not only insisted on doing general anesthesia but also wouldn't listen to any of my concerns). On the other hand, Dr. Aaron was open-minded and willing to listen to our concerns. he got my 12-year-old in on an appointment in two days, and using only local anesthesia, he extracted all 4 teeth within 15 minutes. My son didn't even feel anything and next day he's fine without any swelling. Dr. Aaron is AMAZING to say the least!! I am willing to drive 40 minutes to have my boy see him! I work for a Dental Service Organization in the area, but they don't have pediatrics. Even though we have to work outside our covered benefits, I absolutely love Dr Schwartz and his staff, and every out of pocket dollar we have spent has been worth it. Our daughter had to have a frenectomy done, which is where they have to surgically cut tissue. Dr Schwartz had a state of the art laser that allows the procedure to heal faster and doesn't require sutures. While the procedure can be hard to watch as a parent ( even in the dental field), our little girl did amazing. That is 100% correlated to the amazing staff and docs they have at that office. I absolutely recommend Dr Schwartz and his team to every parent I meet in the area. I literally recommend him to other general dentists who have kids. read more

What an amazing office. From Dr.Schwartz to the staff everyone is so kind and understanding. My 18 month old was in need of a Frenectomy(lip tie). Scheduling was so easy. Dr.Schwartz sat down and went over everything in detail. He spent time with our daughter and made her comfortable before starting the procedure. He completed it with in moments. When she came out he was holding her and comforting her, she buried her head in his shoulder and he gave her words of comfort on how brave she was while walking back to us. Her recovery was ten times better and faster than we anticipated. He emailed and followed up on her recovery personally. We do not have dental insurance, Their fees are extremely fair and not overwhelming. Dr Schwartz took a lot of time to explain the risks and benefits of repairing lip/tounge ties. He made us feel very comfortable, and he was very upfront with costs and details of care. I brought my three year old in for a routine cleaning and we were greeted with such warmth from Dr.Schwartz. He made my daughter feel comfortable right away to the point she didn't hesitate to grab his hand to head towards to dentist chair! She was able to select her preferred toothpaste flavor and was even given a little taste to make sure she liked it. If anyone is looking for tongue/lip/buccal tie evaluation Dr. Schwartz at Schwartz Dentistry for Children is wonderful! He gave an honest, thorough evaluation of my infant's lip tie and did not pressure me to have it released that day. The laser release went so much smoother than when my other child had her's cut at ENT. My kids were going to another dentist who wasn't bad but that I just wished showed a bit more understanding in dealing with kids and helping them not to see the dentist as a bad place to go. A friend recommended that we try Dr. Schwartz and I could. Or have asked for anyone more. He has a way of adjusting for each patient, and I've seen this via my very different twins. I was more nervous than my toddler about his first dental exam. Dr. Schwartz came out to the waiting room and talked to me which eased my anxiety. The exam went well he showed my toddler all of the tools before applying them to his teeth. It was quick and not rushed. The Best part for my toddler was the old school games. We had the worst experience with Dr. Schwartz and even charged my insurance for NO service. We've been taking our kids since they were 1 year old and even one 2 of my siblings were seen by him. 2 weeks ago, Aaron didnt want to see my kids and didn't even do a cleaning or the procedure for a small cavity. Now, my child has been afraid/terrified of needles and he is aware of this. instead, of being patient with my child. Mr. Schwartz raised his voice at me and my child. He said, to get out of his office and that he will no longer be seeing my child here. To look for another dentist. Not once did we even disrespect him or did anything to offend him. Instead of hearing us out. He told my child to get out and leave. I was so upset. I wanted to know the reason he was acting this way towards my kids. Not once did he want to talk to me. Instead, his assistants were apologizing for Mr. Schwartz. Which is not right. He even closed the door in my face. I have canceled all my appointments with him. This was a horrible experience and would not want anyone to go through this. We've know this dentist for years. To anyone that has a child with phobia or afraid of needles. Took my 3-year-old here for his first dental visit. Dr. Schwartz came out to the reception area to meet us. Chatted with my little guy for a bit. Told him about what was going to happen. Once we went back, he was incredibly gentle and patient. He explained EVERYTHING to my son, showed him the instruments and even pretended on a picture. My son sat through the entire appointment, had his teeth examined and cleaned and did so happily. In the car he asked when we were going back! As a general dentist, I have the opportunity to refer my patients to a number of pediatric dentists, and Dr. Schwartz has been my pick for quite some time. This was reaffirmed when I decided to take my 2 year old twins to him yesterday. It is difficult to find reviews of dentists in general even though it is a service that everyone needs. However, it is especially critical to not only find a competent and skilled pediatric dentist for your child but one who has the right demeanor that makes the ordeal so much more manageable. Dr. Schwartz is not only great with the kids, is very patient and has a calm demeanor but he was also very patient and reasonable in dealing with the adults too! I found him very easy to work with, he patiently answered my questions about procedure options, discussed the pros and cons of a few different treatment approaches and generally dealt with me as an educated parent and adult who wished to be informed. I have had other dentists/doctors in the past that were not as receptive to being questioned. Dr. Schwartz was great, we had some significant treatment done for our child and it went very smoothly. He even has an anesthesiologist that comes to his office specifically for some of the more involved procedures so that it will be ultimately less traumatic for the child patient. I have been meaning to write this review for a long time - better late than never ! My (now 8 year old) son has been going to Dr. Schwartz for the past 3 years. My son was terrified of dentists before and the patience and gentleness of Dr. Schwartz and his staff helped him overcome that. The reception area and entire office is like a vintage circus come alive and my son looks forward to playing with the various marble runs.
