She summoned the ARNP who was very nice but never saw my son. No exam performed. At the end, they could not even collect my copay (ha) with a credit card. I paid cash and they wrote me a ridiculous receipt that can't be used for any health savings or FSA. Dr. Saba, I highly suggest some quality control measures if your name is on the front door.

This wasn't my first experience here either--I had a same-day procedure about five years ago, and I remember receiving that same high level of care back then as well. The hospital itself is very clean, and I really appreciated having a private room. Another huge plus was that my husband was able to stay with me the entire time. He had a sofa bed, and they even provided pillows, linens, and a blanket for him, which made a big difference for both of us. As a healthcare worker myself, I tend to notice the details--and I can confidently say I was thoroughly impressed. This hospital and its staff truly go above and beyond.

Inside Crystin's suite, Lilly had her bassinet, Crystin had an entourage of staff in checking on her and baby Lilly. Quality of care is the best. I saw at least a dozen staffers in the two hours I visited. They have a professional photographer on staff for newborn photos- I was there for the photo shoot. I also found the gift shop extremely reasonably priced! I snagged a gorgeous, large bouquet in a vase for $40. Score! Plus the cafeteria- Connor crashed about the patient food and cafeteria food. And a coffee bar- that I indulged in. Grandma duty requires caffeine.

He also gave me a B12 injection due to extreme fatigue to see if it could help in the meantime. He put a care plan together for me and we will await results. I'm overall confident that he will get me some kind of answers on what I can do to lessen my symptoms. The nurses remembered me from the extensive facial damage the cancer had caused and especially the eye I painted on the patch covering the large hole in my face. Once again, their kindness, compassion and professionalism was outstanding! Checking in was quick, preparing for surgery and my incredible got the catheter in one stick, which is a miracle in itself as my veins are not needle friendly. My surgical nurse explained every single action she did and why! She made sure that I was comfortable and warm before the anesthesia cut it. Recovery was fantastic as I was in a good deal of pain which the nurse addressed immediately and added some pain suppressant that would cut in later. Nick, who took care of me when I was there2 years ago, was still so sweet and gently escorted me out to leave the facility. This place is not spacious with state of the art accommodations, but they are the most efficient, caring and professional medical staff I have ever met!!!!

I need not have been worried Dr. Demery is aces! He is well-informed, affable, and very attentive, as I'm happy to report, is everyone I've encountered at the practice. The practice is easy to get a hold of and communicates well in-person, over the phone, and through their app. (‍ I swear I'm not using a chatbot but realized I may sound like one having just given three qualities in a row. ) The office is conveniently located off of Linebaugh on Wilsky, the latter of which streets puts you right on the Veterans Memorial Highway. Plenty of parking. A big convenience store is next door if you have a hankering for something before you head home. Pro tip: if you have been a good patient AND ask politely, I hear they will let you pick out a sticker as you leave the office.

He always spends a lot of time talking through things with me, even when I feel like I'm the one who's in a rush to get the kids back to school. I also appreciate how good he seems about remembering children and their families. I feel like we are more than a chart to him. My younger son was bouncing all over the wall when we had our appointment, Dr. B did a great job redirecting his attention and making sure he did a thorough exam. I also find it very easy to get same-day sick appointments when needed. We may not always see Dr. B when we need one immediately, but I found all of the staff there is fantastic. They actually never seem super busy, which is nice. It means that your child is probably in the waiting room by themselves playing or with one other child. I appreciate how they have a child's waiting room and an adult waiting room, because I also come to this practice and see NP Ritchie. Overall we've always had a very positive experience here. They've also improved their wait times so I never feel like I'm waiting long. Everyone we interact with is always kind and professional from the front staff to the doctors. Dr. Jeffrey Francis came into my room, stood at the door, asked a few questions, never came near me, and said he was going to order an EKG. The EKG was performed and bloodwork was drawn. After an hour of sitting in the exam room, the discharge person came into my room with paperwork. What??? I never even saw the doctor again. I was told that HE HAD "LEFT FOR THE DAY". No conversation, no plan, no results of the EKG, no nothing. Remarkably, today, I read the results of my EKG, which were written by Dr. Francis and they state, "Possible Anterior Myocardial Infarction, PROBABLY OLD." So, this states that I possibly had a HEART ATTACK and it was "PROBABLY OLD"??? This is wrong on so many levels. This "Doctor" "Left for the day" without coming back into my room to talk about this or anything else? Another gentleman then did come in and basically said that he was the guy responsible for damage control when things go awry. Not knowing if I may or may not have had a heart attack, this gentleman stated that their purpose at that facility was to make sure that "you don't die within a week or two". That's GREAT! Perfect business model in a lifesaving position - just give them another week or two of life. Upon reading the results of the visit in my chart, the report is filled with lies written by Dr. Francis. The section "Physical Exam" is especially unsettling, as the doctor never touched my body, as he simply talked to me as he stood next to the door. This is shocking and absolutely unacceptable.

The appointment felt less like a consultation and more like an ego performance. The dismissiveness began the moment he learned I was from Plant City, at which point he abandoned professionalism entirely and began name-dropping and referencing local beauty queens. It was bizarre, unprofessional, and insulting. He attempted to disguise this behavior as "providing truths" about needing a trustworthy medical team, yet most of his comments were thinly veiled criticisms of his professional peers. Following through on medical referrals is not mistrust of physicians--it is simply a patient taking responsibility for their health. Patients deserve honesty paired with compassion. Instead, I encountered arrogance wrapped in condescension and left feeling dismissed as a human being rather than supported as a patient. If you are seeking thoughtful, competent evaluation and education about your health, you will not find it here. I also recommend others with a negative experience file a complaint with the State of Florida Medical Review Board and the Better Business Bureau, in which he is notably not registered. And don't worry--he will likely reply with a self-promoting statement about being "world-renowned" or "award-winning." What he truly is, however, is someone whose personal bias and lack of professionalism raise serious questions about his suitability to provide patient care.
