I'm a first-timer to the Kelsey-Seybold system, and my initial experience was a good one. Calling their reservations hotline was a breeze; they take your particulars over the phone so you don't have to fill out forms when you get there. Luckily I was able to get an appointment quickly with the pediatrician I wanted. The receptionists were nice and efficiently got my file ready and my credit card on record (I paid out of pocket.*) The nurse who took my son's particulars was a sweetheart and also helped me get set up with their online services so I could see any results from our visit. The wait for the doc was long but worth it. Dr. Richard Byrd was very friendly and a non-alarmist (something I really appreciate!) answering all our questions, putting our minds at ease, doing a thorough physical exam, and confirming everything the Hong Kong doctors have said about my son. My faith in HK public health clinics is solidified! I'm now relieved that if we visit Houston in the future, my son has a doctor on hand in case something happens! -- *Fees for new patients start at $150 if you're curious.

I work within a large pediatric hospital, and for me to step outside the system to seek my own pedi is huge and speaks for Dr. Pate's capabilities. Dr. Pate has actively listened to all of our concerns, took account my personal health history, and truly been there for our family. I love that sick children can always be worked in on short notice because sometimes you just can't wait for your child to be seen. I have never been told no when calling for an appointment and we have also visited with Dr. Husain when Dr. Ho was unavailable. We love her, too! The waiting room is clean and child friendly. Wait times can be long but that's the norm for any doctor's office. I highly recommend this practice if you're looking for a pediatrician for your child!

It's located right behind H-E-B (not in the same parking lot). Some maps don't pull up the address correctly because the street is relatively new as of this review date. The address I added on Yelp is accurate. The facility and process they implement for Covid-19 prevention is great. They check you at the entrance and actually enforces people to distance themselves. Everyone wears their mask and tries to be safe. I feel like we got lucky choosing this place. Thank you for being awesome!

I take her to Texas children urgent care because she wasn't getting better and sure enough same day the Texas children says she has a ear infection in both ears and the flu. Ever since i never will go here again. I always have concerns about my daughter and they brush it off. I don't recommend this place for new mommies and daddy's. You will need to go to a more thorough dr that takes the time to hear your concerns and understand your baby's needs.

The place he was supposed to go to called at 9am this morning to tell me even though he'd been seen 2 weeks ago without a referral. I called Gentle Pediatrics and they were sympathetic, understanding and very accommodating. First, the new office is beautifully! The fish tank is beautiful. I wanted to be a patient there but in too old!! Second, staff is amazing! I couldn't thank them enough!! Third, Dr. Hasnain made my 16 year old son smile, which has been impossible to do lately. And Dr. Hasnain helped me feel better about my shortcomings as a parent by telling me I'm a good mom. Why was that so important? In the last 2 months we have gone through a lot as a blended family and I've often felt like a failure as a parent. It is rare to find someone who is still passionate about their job after 32 years. Dr. Hasnain is so full of joy it's infectious. I left the office feeling as though everything would be ok. Thank you so much for your help and understanding during this time. I was so stressed out but all of you made my life so much better.
