I absolutely LOVE this clinic! From the first visit with my first baby 3 years ago to my 2nd and now 3rd child we have been treated so kindly over the years every single visit! This is not an exaggeration. My now 5 year old and 2 year old love coming here because the staff is always so friendly and attentive. They have a wonderful donation area where you can get food items, baby items, toddler toys, hats & gloves during the cold season, cool books which my boys LOVE and look forward to every visit! Never had an issue scheduling and they are more than understanding when an appt is cancelled last min and they don't make you feel bad about it! I have moved over an hr away from the location almost 2 yrs ago and still happily make the trip to the office due to how we have been consistently treated and cared for.I tried transferring once to another office closer to my home and immediately decided we were better taking the drive for the care we receive here. The staff was so kind and accommodating to all of my children. They were considerate of my breast-feeding needs. The nurse and doctor thoroughly explained the problem and the treatment plan (also provided me with great written instructions.) The care that my baby received was phenomenal. I will be moving all of my children's care to this clinic! Also as a bonus the staff gave my children a goodie bag at the end of my visit. At checkout, the receptionist welcome to me, to grab any items I needed out of the donation section. Got got some cute little baby shoes and little wooden toy for my toddler. read more

0 stars if it were possible. been trying to refill a prescription for my daughter that has life threatening asthma for over a month now! I've left several voicemails in the past month. No calls back. Do you guys not care at all about your patients or what is going on? It's is such an unpleasant hassle for me and my daughter that is suffering. If I receive no call back I will be driving 45 minutes away to talk to whoever is the manager. You guys are doing a horrible job all you guys have to do is accept a refill on the computer. read more

I have not been to this doctors office yet. However, I would like to state that this doctors office, paired with my daughters school district LISD have given me a paid for voucher because I am an unemployed resigned elementary school teacher who is getting back on my feet after a stroke. Thank you for the blessing of helping get my daughter in for her life threatening peanut allergy, and EpiPen prescription. It really means a lot to me. I don't understand why the staff is so rude. the do not make the office visit experience pleasant at all. You literally are there anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours. Nurse practitioner isn't pleasant or personable. if you work at a pediatric clinic you definitely should be a lot more friendlier. read more

Patient staff. It's a hard job to have. Be patient with yourself and they'll be patient with you. They send Text ups dates to verify you will come to the appointment. I can tell the NPs and staff their are always working and trying their best! Don't let a couple old reviewers skew your imagine of a clinic! Looks like from past reviews they have learned and made changes to staff everyone here has treated me with respect. I am a odd patient since I am already 18 and don't need my mom with me so paperwork is funny to fill out. My doctor has been very nice and helpful she's talked me thru anything I need and any questions I have. Since she primarily sees patients for a certain condition maybe she has less and can spend more time idk but she's great. Also last time I went they sent me off with free toiletries like shampoo and razors since I'm older. At the front for checkout they even have canned goods and toys you can grab. Only complaint is with this one nurse who when I told I haven't changed height in the past 8 years didn't believe me mind you my chart is a straight line and now it has a dip cause she put .99 that's just me being picky tho. I'm usually in and out in like 45 mins which is great considering the amount of patients they see my old office would be over and hour and a half with me being early too. If you are considering changing to this office I would do it there great and they speak Spanish. read more

Do not take your child to this clinic!!! This is the absolute worse clinic my family has ever had experience with. The front office staff is horrible. My daughter has called and called and called numerous times with no answer. Left multiple messages and no return calls on several occasions. Had to resort to taking her child to the urgent care because of no return call. Then she was trying to request medical records for over a week and same as above! When Someone was finally reached, They were rude, inefficient, and incompetent and she was placed on hold for 30 minutes. Asked to speak to to an office manager and was told they don't have one. If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! The receptionists and nurses are rude as can be! We went to the room to get my daughters weight and vitals. My daughter was sitting in the chair not paying attention bc the nurse was on the laptop. You know how most nurses say "ok I'm gonna get your temperature now! This is gonna go across your forehead..etc etc" well she failed to do that so my daughter wasn't paying attention and flinched bc she didn't see it coming. The nurse flat out asked her, "does your mom hit you?" I said "excuse me!? You just put that in her face without telling her what do you expect!?" She said "haha well most kids who flinch get hit a lot at home." Oh it took A LOT to bite my tongue. But they will be getting a phone call from me first thing Monday morning!! That is NOT how you talk to your patients!!!! I am livid! Oh...when my son first went there my mother in law had to take him. He had a bad eye infection. She had to take him in bc I just had a hysterectomy. The doctor told my mother in law that I should not be nursing my child and that he's "too big" and "too old"....he wasn't even 18 months old at the time!! I called and complained about that too. No DOCTOR especially a pediatrician should be against breastfeeding!! I hate this doctors office and I will never recommend it. I'll never go back. Stay FAR away!!! Dr. William smith is nice though and knows his stuff. And the other doctor which might just be a nurse practitioner anyway. She's ok. That's bout it. read more

Tried to make an appointment for my son and the front office lady (Esmeralda) was so incredibly rude. After dealing with her at least twice, I gave up and requested the office manager assist since I was already given attitude and the wrong information. I waited on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up. Negative 0 this place has a strict policy on patients being on time but they never are the wait is long 30 mins to an hour sometimes longer the staff sucks there attitude sucks. Most of them act like they don't like there job. They call 3 or 4 times to confirm appointments because they dont do anything right it needs to be shut down and everyone there should be unemployed and find a new profession.. Terrible receptionist! Came in with my mother and little brother to check his inflamed neck. The receptionist had the nerve to raise her voice at my mother telling her that she was too late and that they weren't going to see my baby brother! First of all he is just a toddler and has a swollen neck! Don't you think that's a reason to see him ASAP! The receptionist wasn't polite or courteous at all!!! I had to get up and speak aggressively just like she was doing to my mother. I demanded to know if the "RN" was going to see if the swollen neck was significant to take to the ER. FYI I don't even know if she was a RN or just a "Nurse assistant" but obviously she didn't know because my mother had to make an appt. for the following day. I'm a RVT at a animal hospital and i can assure you that I treat a dog better then they treat a child and mother. I DO NOT recommend this place for you and your children. So we returned today for my brother's appt with Dr. Smith. My mother loves the fact that Dr. Smith is a great doctor and very informative even though there is a bit of a language barrier between my mother and Dr. Smith. Well where do I start...the receptionist yet again were acting like ignorant brats, especially the CSR supervisor. My brother had his appt at 9 AM. which they did arrive in time, but wasn't seen til an hour LATER! It seem like they were aggravated from the confrontation from yesterday and were trying to get back at my mother for it...not caring that its a Children's Clinic. CSR (customer service representatives) if you don't like to treat customers the right way then DONT WORK THERE and get a proper education. Dont look down on people that are there to give you business. In fact there wasn't a sign in sheet at the window and my mother had to ask and even when she did asked, they completely ignored her. I have such a bad input on this place. Would recommend Dr. Smith to dismiss the front staff and replace with friendly and efficient, kind people. read more

When my kids got sick, I tried to make appointments, but they always said they were busy.!! didn't even let us make appointments. Which means, They don't care about the patients even if kids are sick.!!!! They just take check-up appointments, and make money. read more

I Have been going for a year, I do not recomend this place for any one needing urgent care. It has always been a long wait even with an appointment. The reception staff has about two that are kind and patient. They never return your calls when you have to leave a voice mail. The nureses are wonderful as well as doctors, however I never saw a Real doctor till about 9 months into the place. My son continues to get ear infections and none of them can keep track of howmany he has had. Its been four and still no mention or even a concideration for tubes. This is a very busy place they need to stop taking new patients. read more

Worse place ever!!!! The staff mostly the receptionists are very rude. The place looks and feels filthy. The worse part is you have to wait months to be seen for a check up. If your child is sick don't even bother going there, you will wait forever and after it feels like they have done nothing for your child. I sent my husband up there to get our son a flu shot, and they turned them away because his name wasn't on the paperwork. I was very upset asked to talk to a manager. The manager was so ridiculous and rude. She said because they had changed there policys it was my fault that they sent my son and husband away because his name wasn't on the paperwork. I have been going there since 2011 and my husband has taken him. I figured it was because they didn't want to see him because there staff is lazy. read more

My son is 6 months old and received shots last Monday, since then he has been feeling crummy and has had a stuffy and runny nose. I am a new mom so this is all very new to me and I called to ask if there was anything I could do for him and left a message. When I got a call back from them I returned the call as soon as I could and the receptionist was very rude and had no idea what I was calling back about I explained that I had left a message in regards to my son and gave his name and when we were in the office and she still had no idea what I was talking about. She told me that she needed the name of the person that tried to contact me. I hung p with her and listened to the voice mail and called her back within a few mins. When I gave her the nurses name that had left the message for me so insisted that here was no one there by that name, then asked me to hold. After a few min on hold the nurse by the name that I gave to the receptionist came on the phone, took some information from me and then said that she would check with the doctor and call me back. That was last Thursday and I have yet to hear back from them. So I have an even sicker baby at home and no help form is DOCTOR. You would think that they would have more respect for first time parents and do what they can to help them. read more

I'm reading these reviews and just shaking my head at most of them. First of all, Pediplace is extremely busy trying to Help those who can't afford a doctor that just babies you and does pretty much whatever you want. My son and I moved here almost 10yrs ago for him to see a specialist and Barbara at Pediplace is who they recommended for a pcp. There have been plenty of nurse practitioners go through there and not all of them were good. However, you will find that Anywhere. Plenty of pediatrician's offices have more than one dr and not all of them are good. We love Ms. Barbara and Mrs. Karina. I literally trust them with my son's life! I personally don't like Dr. Smith but again, everybody has their own personal opinion. I don't know what happened with these people that are writing bad reviews because I wasn't there. But I do know that Everyone (including receptionists, LVNs, RNs, NPs, And Drs) has bad days. Maybe the staff was having a bad day. Maybe the patient's parents/grandparents/caregivers were having a bad day. We've had bad experiences there....but if we would have just quit going based on that one bad experience, we would have quit going to more places than just Pediplace. In reference to specific issues: Pediplace accepts appointments for well child, sick child, follow ups, emergencies, etc. They DO care about sick kids. Do your research about them before you accuse them of just making money. And for the love of God, DON'T BE LATE TO YOUR APPOINTMENTS AND EXPECT THEM (OR ANYONE ELSE) TO JUST LET YOU IN!
