I'm really disappointed in this business. I have been a client for 10 years and have had 4 dogs under their care over time. I recently got a new puppy and had scheduled him for a neuter. I always do my diligence, and I made sure when I scheduled to let them know I had done all my puppy's vaccinations at home and that I would bring his at-home shot record with us. The appointment was confirmed months in advance. On the day of his scheduled procedure we came in and were met with rudeness and hostility on Cathy's (front desk) part. She made us feel like bad dog parents and frankly embarrassed us because we had administered our puppy's shots ourselves. I let her know I had informed the vet about this at the time of scheduling, and she insisted that we did not. The worst part is that she offered absolutely no solutions. So we're just not supposed to neuter our dog? Very disappointing that they let this individual treat their clients this way. Whatever the remedy, I will not be bringing my animals here anymore, nor will I recommend this business to anyone. read more

I had an appointment for my cat, there was a discrepancy about my appointment time, the receptionist Cathy Davies was so rude and disrespectful, she pretty much scolded me and talked down on me, when I told her that I was going to talk to her the same way she was talking to me, she got worse. First off this business looked horrible 30 years ago. It's only seems to be even worse in my opinion. I went to get a price on getting my cat spayed. Waiting about 10 minutes and finally a counter person appeared and I asked the question of how much for getting my cat spayed. She barked there a 3 customers ahead of you. I asked again I'm just asking for a ballpark figure. Again she barked you'll have to wait at which point I asked are you not capable of answering a simple question? Needless to say this person has zero customer service ability. I did get my cat spayed by another provider at a very clean with helpful employees. I did finally get a price from Pedley Veterinary and it was almost double I paid at a much cleaner and modern Vet Clinic. read more

I have been here a few times for 2 different pets. I have had great experiences, I'm shocked to see any negative reviews. I actually came on here to see what time they open because I need to take in my be kitten. I am truly baffled at the negative comments. Each time I have been here, I called first to get an idea about the cost. And each time the staff was very kind, informative & was more than willing to answer all of my questions (& I ask a lot of them). And my in person experiences are also the same. I usually have my kids with me as well. The staff are all very kind. I have seen the young Vet each time I have been here & she is very professional & caring & able to answer all my questions as well. They have a couple of days a week when vaccines are cheaper too. AWFUL. I just got a puppy, 8 weeks old. she was a breeder puppy and she needed to get her second round of shots. They told me she cant get them a refuse since shes way too young, ( u can start shots at 6 weeks mind you ) so they wanted me to wait another week and i couldn't do that, then id have to start all over. The tech was RUDE getting mad at me and my breeder who i had on the phone. They said since shes a breeder puppy she needs to wait, which did not make any sense. went somewhere else my breeder told me to go to who she also goes too. they did it for 20$. this place was going to charge me 75$! only went to this place because it was one of the business cards she gave me to go get the shots out of the two locations. will NOT be back & do not recommend. read more

I feel silly for not having left a review of Pedley Vet a long time ago, what with how long they've been taking care of my family's pets, and even now as an adult, my own cat. I typically actually don't look at reviews, but it genuinely made me sad to see that they don't have a higher rating, because I don't think there is anyone I would trust more with my pet than the staff here. Despite how busy they were today, the receptionists and other staff kept reassuring me that my cat would get looked at soon and were still extremely friendly, even joking around every now and then despite the phone constantly going off and all of the emergencies they were getting. I completely understand having to wait a little longer past my appointment time, given I was basically there for a check up with my cat to make sure she didn't have a UTI and it wasn't really a life or death situation, but I still genuinely appreciated the fact that the receptionists and even multiple vets apologizes for the wait time! Emergencies happen all the time, so I absolutely understand and still want to thank them for managing to tend to my cat even though it felt like something minor, compared to every other pet who needed more medical attention I wish I knew the name of the vet who mostly tended to my cat! Everyone was super sweet and Gretchen was so professional in taking all of Malley's info, but the younger woman who mostly tended to my cat was so kind and patient, despite how anxious my cat tends to get at the vet. Even though I was still there after closing hours and I could imagine everyone wanted to leave after a busy day, they never made it seem as though my cat was some sort of burden that they were just trying to get through as fast as they could. It made me so happy to hear this vet comment on how sweet my cat was, despite how scared she was, and it felt like I was talking to someone who genuinely wanted to make sure my cat was okay. I was quickly told of what the estimate costs would be while waiting for her results, the prices reasonable to me tbh, what with the resources they used for her and the items they prescribed ‍ and I was on my way soon after that. I've been taking my Chihuahuas to Pedley for several years now and I am more than pleased with their service. They are both professional and personable and have never steered me wrong. Their prices are reasonable and they do not try to upsell every test in world. I brought my 10 week old puppy in with what I thought was allergies but Dr. Monica knew right away it was something else. Even though there was a long road to recovery, I am so grateful for Dr Monica's quick discernment which meant we caught this rare puppy condition early. So so so disappointed in this vet! We have used them for quite a few years and have always been happy with them. I believe that there has been a recent change in ownership. This time I took a cat in because she was vomiting. My mom took her (we did get a same day appointment) the vet was in the room for less than 2 minutes. He listened to her breathing and told us to put her back in the cage. He was so rude. He told us we could run $700 worth of tests but she seemed fine. Didn't look in her mouth even to see if she was dehydrated. Fast forward 3 days... she is still getting sick. We got her in at another vet and the vet found a string looped under her tongue/stuck. This vet looked first thing at her mouth and found it. I'm so disappointed in the lack of care this new Pedley vet has. The only saving grace is the wonderful office staff. My mom called and the receptionist was extremely apologetic and made things as right as she could. Look elsewhere for vet services! read more

After not having a dog for about 8 years I decided to get one again. I just started taking my Siberian Husky puppy here. They refused to see her and referred us to drive to Grand terrace. If I could give no stars I would. I called today to confirm and ask a few questions about my male cats procedure and pricing and I received absolute terrible service. When I asked questions I was laughed at repeatedly and cut off multiple times, when I asked if I could finish my question she got extremely defensive and asked if I was talking to her. Then laughed at me some more. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or HR/ customer service rep she claimed to be all three. By the end of the phone call she was irate and I had no choice but to cancel the procedure that I scheduled over 2 months ago. I took a dog with a serious issue into this veterinary hospital and they are FABULOUS! With an appointment I still had a longer than normal wait time to be seen but, with the care that was provided by a skilled doctor and staff, I didn't mind the wait. The dog has a manageable disease that the doctor researched and conferred with a colleague on. She ran specific tests that the staff was able to find discounts on and saved me hundreds of dollars. This hospital has one of the lowest office visit rates in the Inland Empire! I highly recommend this veterinary hospital and have sent emails to my family members & friends suggesting they change their current vets to this one. They gave me peace of mind. read more

Wow!!! So so impressed by Kacey and team. We adopted puppy down the road. They helped did a wellness check on her by dr Monica. A wk later, puppy got kennel cough. Since we lived 60miles away, they went above and beyond for us. They got our lil girl her doxycycline 25mg x 10days (twice/day) prescription to rite aid. We picked it up for $25. I went to this hospital exactly a week ago and I've been contemplating on writing a review but I feel like I need to. We've been here before for shots for our dogs but this time they both needed a check up and blood work. There were a couple other issues I addressed with them as well. Appt was at 4:30 pm and they took us in at 5:05. My dogs are very antsy and it was so stressful waiting. Doesn't seem like a long wait but with two antsy large dogs, it was very stressful. I finally called and they said they are waiting for an open room. Finally got into the room (which was very warm). Im just very disappointed because they made me feel like my pets are just another number. Even the doctor (Zulfigar) seemed to be not interested and just went about his routine and left. I honestly don't feel like he really cared about what was going on with my dogs. Seemed like all his answers to the issues were... "we should just do an X-ray, remove this, remove that" etc.... like trying to just get as much money possible added on to the bill. Trust me, if I felt there was some compassion and felt he truly cared for my dogs , then I would be more inclined to go that route. At that point, I had lost trust with this doctor. He seemed cold and I could barely understand him especially with a mask on. Everyone (that day) at this vet just seemed cold . It was such an uncomfortable visit and I will never return to this vet again. I want to take my dogs to a vet where everyone truly LOVES animal and shows it and genuinely mean it and it's not just a daily job for them. I can't speak for the entire staff because I only dealt with David, the girl at front desk and the doctor. Don't get me wrong, they were not rude or anything like that but it's just an uncomfortable feeling I got because they didn't seemed compassionate. I know there are vets out there that greet you and treat you in a way that makes you feel really good when you take them there like there so I know they're out there and after my bad experience I will be searching on Yelp for the exact type of Vet I would like to take my dogs to. Just seems like this place went downhill since my last couple visits. Maybe under new ownership and/or management? I really don't know. I also requested a written prescription for one of my dogs which took two days to be ready for me to pick up. So the entire experience was not good from the beginning to the end. I can't change people but I feel like if you work with animals, it would be nice to feel the love when my pets come to your hospital. I didn't get that at all during my visit. Having a 3 star review says a lot about this business and I'm know I'm not alone. I just wished I would have looked at the ratings before I took my dogs in. But my experience was hoisin the past so I didn't feel the need. My search is on and I'm confident in knowing that I will find a Vet and staff that truly loves animals and passionate about what they do and doesn't treat your pet as another number. That's all I ask for. Make the owner feel good and comfortable for choosing your hospital to bring their pets and let them feel and know your pets are in good caring hands. read more
