I had a flood in my apartment due to a burst washer hose. Tavis from Peerless showed up Saturday evening and removed the damaged padding, sucked up all the water from the carpet and carefully installed blowers under the carpet to dry the area, half of my living room. He also set up a dehumidifier to extract water from the air. The equipment was left until everything was thoroughly dry and then he returned, replaced the damaged underpadding with new, re-tacked the carpet, and cleaned up. It looks as good as new. I would recommend Peerless for anybody with this kind of problem! read more

This company was hired by my apartment complex to clean the carpet after a toilet overflowed. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was disappointing and felt rushed. They left trash behind instead of cleaning up the area when they were done, and the carpet was still damp when they left. The technician also parked in a way that blocked my truck and wouldn't move the van when I asked so I could leave. I didn't pay for the service directly, but based on the experience, I wouldn't recommend them. read more

I call and had them come pick up two area rugs to clean and repair a spot on one of them. A week later they returned them. My grandson said that they have a stench to them and it was making him nauseous. I had suffered from Covid so I could not smell anything but I did notice that they didn't look clean and before I accuse them of not cleaning them I had to check for myself. I broke out my carpet cleaner and without using a cleaner I retracted a horrible amount of filthy dirt from them. I then called on several occasions to report this and have them call me back which never happened. So I payed them 99.00 dollars to that my carpet for a ride for a week and return them just like they left. read more

Easily the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Peerless hired a painter that worked out of the back of an older white car. This same painter caused a very large amount of damage to my home. He got paint just about everywhere imaginable to include my original hardwood floors from 1913, fence, driveway and porch. Peerless has been slow to handle this situation. So far I'm over 10 weeks for a simple water damage claim. Do not trust them in your home!!! Edited it to add The work done by Peerless was deemed so bad that we have to be paid out by Peerless. So to comment on what Peerless said you all lied to us and if you'd like me to post the emails and the videos of your representatives saying they'd like to buy our review, we can and will. read more

We used Peerless to repair our home after we had water damage. This was the most awful experience I have ever been through. Their restoration team came out and dried the floors and tore out the floors and walls that needed to be repaired, this team was absolutely fabulous so we decided to stick with them to do the repairs. At this point another team, the construction team took over. We were originally told it would be a two week job. We are currently about 8 weeks in to this 2 week project and I am so disappointed that I have decided to sign all closing papers and will be hiring another team to come in and fix their sloppy work. The lead person that we had to contact was impossible to get a hold of, it would take him days and sometimes weeks to get back to a simple question. We literally had to beg them to come out and do our work. Ours was an insurance claim so they had the check from our insurance company and our deposit up front. When I asked about the poor quality of work I was told that he was doing this work as a "courtesy to us," but it was an insurance claim that paid for everything that was damaged and all that we asked for was for them to replace what was damaged. My floors have several soft spots. One soft spot is so bad that just 4 weeks after putting in my new vinyl flooring the flooring is pulling apart. My walls look awful, they mudded the wall but never sanded it, they just painted over it. We have a dip in our wall where they didn't even mud at all, sadly the dip looks better than the spot that was mudded. We had the lead guy come out and we showed him the spots that didn't look right, he said no problem I will send someone out Wednesday and get it all fixed. Of course a week after he promised someone would come out he finally sent someone and that person messed up the walls even more. I would not recommend Peerless for any sort of construction or repair. If your just looking for someone to come in and demo or dry out your property from water damage, that team was excellent and I would highly recommend them. But working with their construction team was stressful, frustrating and just an all around bad experience. I would have selected zero stars but it wouldn't let me. read more

We hired Peerless Carpet Care to clean our Carpets. They were on time and the technician was courteous. He completed the carpet cleaning in less than hour. The carpet was still wet so we waited several hours before we checked his work. The carpet was still very damp. We also noticed that he didn't shampoo behind the doors of the three bedrooms. The next morning the carpet was still damp. We called Peerless the next morning and ask how long it takes for the carpet to dry. We were told that it should dry on average in 5 or 6 hours. We told them it was still damp. We were told they would get back with us after they talked with technician. That was early this morning and still no response. Carpet still damp!! read more

We were assigned this company through our insurance company and so far they've been amazing! They were assigned to do the water mitigation portion of our repairs (busted quest pipe) and I've requested them to continue the work through to the end. The gentleman who was assigned to our mitigation claim called before he was going to come over all three times, and even called back to let me know he could come later as I was squeezing in some quality time with my daughter. He came over during her nap time to better accommodate that. Every person I've dealt with has been kind, considerate, and knowledgeable, to include their customer service. They were in and out quickly but always willing to answer any question I had, or my five year old daughter had. Which were oftentimes ridiculous. I hope to never need their service again, but if I did, I would request them for certain. read more

Peerless were recommended to us by our home insurance carrier. After spending almost three months to finish the job assigned; fixing leak, replacing pipeline and laying floors. We moved back into our house, in less than a year we noticed damage in the new floors in the areas they fixed. We contacted Peerles to fix the issue since we have a three year warranty however, they dishonored their warranty. They used all their power to dispute and bounced us back and forth. They could not even proof that they used the required moist barrier. Very poor business practice. Think twice before you hire them. They don't honor their warranty, I am even questioning the sub- contractors they used Specially after I learned that the pluming company they used are now out of business. In addition to that they are slow, finishing the jobs they had was like pulling teeth!! The finishing was not all that. read more

This is the 3rd time we've used Peerless (once at our old home and twice at our current home). I was a little confused when speaking with the booking agent because she couldn't locate any of our past visits. She also wasn't aware of any of the promotions that were on the website. The first time we used peerless it was HORRIBLE the guy was new and the carpet was literally not even damp when he left (umm did you even clean them). Our realtor booked them the 2nd time so we decided to give them another shot. They did a great job. Today we had Anthony show up. He rang beforehand to check if I was home because he would be a little early if that was okay (heck yeah, thanks for giving me back hours of my day). He was very polite, efficient and quick. Wow peerless is wonderful! I had to get carpet at my old apartment cleaned before I moved out. My apartment was an end unit at the intersection of two very busy roads. I had initially had another company come to clean it, but after looking at the building for five seconds they told me I was out of luck and left. I called peerless and they had wonderful service on the phone, plenty of flexible times, and were very understanding of my urgency. Peerless arrived at my building and within five minutes found an easy solution to access my unit. The man who cleaned my carpet was friendly, professional and QUICK! The carpet looked great when he was done and he was more than happy to go over some tough spots again. Best of all the service was incredibly affordable!!! Peerless is amazing and I will be more than happy to use them the next time I need my floors cleaned! read more

Completely unprofessional. I had an appointment scheduled for almost 1.5 weeks, and I received a call DURING my appointment time letting me know that they had to cancel due to emergency calls. I interpreted it as someone possible had a flooding that would bring in more $$$ for them, and my scheduled appointment/ patronage didn't mean anything to them. I boarded my dogs to make this appointment convenient for them, so I am out $80 because my appointment didn't matter to them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

We had Peerless come out and clean our carpets before we moved. We have three dogs and were not sure if we could get the place smelling dog free. We had to pay quite a bit more than we expected, but the place is does not smell like dog anymore. Waiting to hear if we get our deposit back. But the carpet looks pretty good now. read more

These guys couldn't find their backside with both hands. The floor subcontractor did very good work, but the supervisory disorganization ("you got the wood? No, I thought you were going to get the wood"), no-shows on 3 different days (foreman? anyone?), job still not done (promised to be finished in 3 days, that was weeks ago), and the finishing touch: putting clear caulking over old, dirty white caulking, sealing in that nice dirt forever. I could go on. The only reason I gave it a whole 2 stars is for the floor work, otherwise it would have gotten 1/2 star, if that. Really pitiful excuse for a construction company.
