TidyMax went above and beyond. We had previous tenants with a cat that destroyed the carpeting, padding, and down into the concrete slab. The smell was unbelievable. Tidymax was able to remove, treat and install new carpet and padding. They completely corrected the damage. The odor and damage is totally gone. As per our lease, we were required to have the carpets cleaned upon move out. We were given two companies to choose from and TidyMAX was cheaper by a long shot. When we moved into the house the carpet was in bad shape. When we questioned the property management company we were told that the owners had them cleaned, they were just worn. After having them cleaned by TidyMAX, I'm not so sure I believe that because the carpet looked much better, yet still worn. The two guys that came to clean the carpets were really nice and I have no complaints about their service or quality of work. The only complaint I have is that due to some scheduling mistakes on their part, my husband and I spent hours waiting around on TidyMAX. Somehow someone managed to write our appointment down for the correct time, wrong day. After an hour of waiting past the scheduled appointment time, my husband called and spoke to someone that told us he'd pass our info along to their office and someone would be in touch. After another hour of waiting to hear back, I called and spoke to the same person. He said someone was supposed to have been in touch and again, he'd pass our info along and we'd hear back. This time, we did. Imran, I believe was his name, was very apologetic and he was able to send his people out that afternoon. I understand that sometimes these things happen but it was a huge inconvenience. Based on the service they provided alone, they were great. However, they made no effort to make up for their mistake other than an apology. Maybe, if this type of situation occurs in the future, they should consider offering a discount. I first found TidyMax on a magnet attached to a refrigerator at work. Being in the military, I knew that the companies chosen would provide decent work at a low price. I called the number listed on the magnet and was blown away by the price given. First of all, the gentleman who fielded the phone call was very polite and gave the time to answer my questions. Secondly, up until this phone call I had used Stanley Steemer for my carpet cleaning needs; however, after TidyMax cleaned our carpet, and for the price, I will not be using Stanley Steemer. The services we requested were both duct cleaning and carpet cleaning, and when the work was being completed, the owner of TidyMax was on site performing the cleaning making sure that my needs were being met. He even took the time to listen while walking around the house as I pointed out the trouble spots. And, as an added bonus, TidyMax managed to remove a make-up spot in my daughter's room; a stain Stanley Steemer said was permanent. Overall, I found that TidyMax was well worth the price in both customer service and in professional cleaning; so much so, I already have them calling in six months to reschedule another cleaning. read more
