Using the proper diagnostic equipment, Corey examined the venting system, and found that a length of pipe was missing. The area around the exhaust vent was matted with lint. I suspect that I was at high risk of a house fire. The problem wasn't obvious. My house has had several owners, yet the problem was never noticed.
