Wow. What an unforgettable experience at PEJU, especially with the VIP treatment my friends and I received from Todd Elliott, AKA to me as wine educator and sommelier extraordinaire! I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Met up with some friends who are long time members so we got the special tasting experience. The outdoor grounds reminded me of an older European style building that is simple and unassuming. There was a large concrete fountain in front with a small shallow moat surrounding part of the exterior. The water sounded very refreshing on this hot day. As soon as you walk inside you'll discover the large mural resembling an Italian stained glass window with a wine rack below it. We were shuttered into the wine barrel area where we had a table reserved for thanks to our member-friends. It was at near closing time for tasting but they accommodated our late arrival. We tried the standard tasting menu with several others not on it. Our friends ordered some appetizers to pair w some of the wines like truffle chips w dip and duck tartine with toast. They were delish and made me drink more. Even though this was my 3rd winery of the day that started at 9:30am, I was feeling like the wine at Peju tasted fantastic. Our host, Joseph was superb. He was very funny and engaging and presented each wine with its background and what qualities to look for. I've driven past Peju many times and finally stopped in after admiring the iconic pink tower for years. The service was good, and we were even offered extra pours beyond the listed tasting, which was appreciated. That said, the wine just wasn't for me. Taste is subjective, but none of the wines really suited my palate, and I didn't care for any enough to revisit.. hence the three stars, though I debated two. Every person we came in contact with had wonderful customer service, they greeted us right away and asked if there was anything they could help us with the moment we walked in. The last time I visited Peju was in 2023. And this was my nth time returning because they still hold a special place in my heart! We booked a classic tasting for 4 people, and a 1 non-tasting guest. They do offer non-alcoholic beverages, so it's a plus! Everything went smoothly from check-in through the end of our tasting journey. We got a large table at the end of the hall, and our wine educator, Deanna, immediately made us feel at home. She shared the history of Peju Winery and explained how each bottle was made throughout the tasting. She's really warm, knowledgeable, and makes our tasting really enjoyable with her bright energy! I ended up getting a bottle of 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon after our tasting. And now they provide a map of the winery so that you can stroll the winery after tasting, and enjoy those beautiful statues on site. read more

I had a reservation for a classic tasting at PEJU at 1:30pm on a Friday, at the recommendation of quite a few friends, and there were a few other parties seated at the time as well. The grounds are gorgeous inside and out, and I really enjoyed the stained glass, large open windows, and the statues and the koi pond area outside. The service was extraordinary, and I had a great time learning a bit about the different wines PEJU offers from Joseph. I tried quite a few different wines, and really liked how there are a few unique offerings here that you can't find elsewhere - I ended up getting a bottle of their Province, the Farm, and their late harvest orange muscat. PEJU is also one of the few wineries with a permit to serve food. If I had known ahead of time, I would've planned to eat here! The rilettes were super tempting, but Joseph advised that if I was planning to eat a meal afterward to stick to the chips and dip - this ended up being quite a generous portion as well, and I really enjoyed the goat cheese truffle dip alongside the wine tasting :) Overall, PEJU is definitely a beautiful winery to visit with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back! read more

This was my second time visiting Peju on a Sunday afternoon and it was just as good as the last time I was there. We had a group of five for the classic tasting and had a great table at the end of the hall. Our wine educator was Deanna and she really made us feel at home. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tasting really enjoyable. There were five wines on our list but we got a chance to try some special ones such as the EXP and the Province. February 2026 A visit to Peju Winery is a must when we are in Napa! The grounds are beautiful and there are many photo options all around. The story and history of the winery is awesome. In the past we have spotted the families dogs running the grounds. This time we got a quick glimpse of the owner. We were there to purchase a few bottles of 50/50 a wine that we enjoy. We visited Peju for our yearly anniversary trip to Napa last week and it was one of our favorite wineries we have visited. Largely due to our host, Todd. He was so friendly and fun to tour the grounds with. The wine that we tried during our tasting was delicious, it honestly was difficult trying to decide which to buy because they all were wonderful (we ended up with 3 different wines). We took the twilight tour during sundown, it was romantic and we loved the experience. In addition, Peju is just beautiful. We loved the details of the grounds and the building itself. Peju was so fun to experience, I can't remember the girls name, but she was so delightful and very gracious on her pores. We enjoyed some dark chocolate as we sit away on their fantastic wines which of course we had to buy take home. The grounds are gorgeous. Went in on a a Saturday afternoon for a classic wine tasting and tried six of their wines in the tasting room. While we were enjoying our tasting, the owner came by with her dogs, Fluffy and Mighty, who were absolutely adorable. We've driven past Peju Winery many times but never stopped--until now. On our recent Napa trip, we finally decided to check it out, and we're so glad we did. One of the main reasons we chose Peju was because they allow guests under 21, which made it perfect for our toddler. We went to Peju in between other reservations, as they took walk ins. I'm so glad we stopped by! The outside was gorgeous. Had a castle-like feel, reminiscent of an Italian countryside. The server at the counter was amazing. He was happy to give plenty of small pours to try their different wines out. Each glass was $25, but he suggested buying a bottle for $40 to take home instead. I really appreciated him looking out for us. We took the Province home. He said they're the only winery in Napa that does a red and white blend. Cheers! I'll start first by mentioning my visit to Peju Winery was in May 2023. I had the best intentions of posting a review sooner, but sadly it wasn't meant to be. Albeit quite late, I still wanted to review Peju as I personally felt the experience very noteworthy. And now, on to the review. As I've already mentioned, I visited Peju Winery in May 2023 with my brother and sister-in-law. Thankfully, my SIL had planned our overnight trip to Napa very carefully and made reservations at all the vineyards we visited, Peju included. Our reservation was early in the morning, I believe around 1030am, and thankfully it wasn't very busy when we arrived. My first impression of the vineyard was that it was very pristine and peaceful. We took some pictures of the main building and fountains before our appointment. We checked in with the staff/host, and informed him about our appointment. While we were being checked in, my brother and I took the time to admire the arched stained glass window in their main room/store. It depicted a musical trio in a garden setting. I thought it was quite captivating honestly. We made our way to the tasting room, where our host, Scott, expertly guided us through their tasting menu in describing the taste, smell, and process of their wines. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and especially passionate about the Peju brand and vineyard. He provided a brief history of its owner and founder, Tony Peju, who sadly passed away the month following our visit. In the end, we purchased a few bottles of wine, had our pictures taken by Scott, and were on our way. BOTTOM LINE: An exceptional and memorable visit at Peju Winery. read more

We visited here back in September and I'm just now getting around to leaving reviews. We opted for the Indoor Standing Counter Tasting and our host was Scott. He was absolutely hilarious and it was clear how much he really loved working there. He had nothing but good things to say about the winery and the family that owns it. He was cracking jokes the whole time and it was just a very lively tasting. I didn't take any photos of the tasting, but the property is beautiful and has trees that reminded me of Dr. Seuss or the Lorax. It was fun passing by the winery and seeing them everyday during our trip. There were so many stained glass windows on the building and they also had a small art gallery upstairs, so there was a lot to look at. We would visit here again! read more

Stopped in for a tasting solo on a recent work conference trip to Napa and had a wonderful time at Peju, thanks to the delicious wines and excellent service from Joseph! This is a women and family owned winery that predominantly utilizes European winemaking techniques (which essentially means that the wine is left to ferment with minimal intervention/additives) with delightful results and a gorgeous property. It was a Tuesday afternoon, so I wound up being the only one in the tasting room, but Joseph kept the wines pouring at a reasonable pace without rushing me, striking the perfect balance between friendly conversation/keeping me company and giving me space to enjoy my wine and reading. He was knowledgeable about the wines/winemaking but also shared his recommendations for local activities and restaurants to enhance my trip. He also thoughtfully incorporated a few bonus wines in my tasting, adding in their unique Province red-white blend to soften the transition between reds and whites and allowing me to finish with the Brut Rose. The highlights for me (a mostly white wine drinker!) were the delicious Cabernet Sauvignon and their Reserve Blend, which were phenomenal. I also particularly enjoyed their Carnival French Colombard, a delicious white wine with just a hint of sweetness. I wound up ordering several bottles to ship home (a rare achievement for this girl from Delaware, as there are complicated alcohol shipping restrictions that most individual wineries don't navigate --- Peju works with a 3rd party shipper to make it happen!!), and then wandered their beautiful grounds for a bit before I left. All in all, a wonderful visit and a winery I'd visit again if I'm back in the area. read more

If I text or email with a question I hear back within the hour and my requests are processed that same day. Of the many wineries I've worked at, I can't say that about any. For my mom's 70th birthday, I knew I wanted to do something special. Last year, we went to Italy together and took a cooking class. So I wanted to replicate it for her birthday here in California. I stumbled upon Peju Winery because they offered a pasta cooking class. WOW. What an incredible experience! My wife and I had a scheduled tasting at Caymus winery and we where super early so we drive around looking for somewhere that took walk ins. We happened upon this jewel . Very beautiful property and relaxing scenery! We were promptly greeted and take outside for a tasting ! Our host came out and greeted us. He asked about our wine preferences and customized a tasting for each of us based on the questions he asked. I have never liked rose as I am a Pinot or Malbec guy. But I must say it was a delight.
