Ordered delivery tonight. The food was great and they delivered in less than 30 minutes after I placed the order online. We had the beef and broccoli and the sweet and sour chicken along with fried rice, and the appetizer shrimp. Everything was really good. We are a new business in town and decided to give this Chinese place a go. The food is good but the service is horrible. We ordered delivery and when the food arrived we had no napkins and no utensils. When I called them the Asian gentleman said "we don't give napkins or utensils. I was throw back. I asked him, "how am I suppose to eat my dinner?" I am at a office and don't have utensils. Nevertheless he did come and deliver a fork but seemed very agitated and upset that I asked for this crucial tool to eat. So word to the wise if you are at a residence they do not give napkins or forks and if you are at a business you have to ask politely for a fork and napkins. read more

This is hands down the best service I have ever had at a take out Chinese place. The workers have given us free drinks for our "wait" when we barely had to wait. Food was just ok. Ordered a dish at spice level hot and it was sweet. The main issues are with their customer service. Ordered online through beyond menu. A few minutes after i placed the order i received a phone call asking if this was "a legit order". I was also told that they would deliver as long as i "take care of the driver". Mind you, i live appx 4 miles away. Once the driver arrived, my order was somehow $2 more than what i had been quoted online. I thought that the fried rice was delicious...At the time. I got food poisoning the morning after I ate here and had diarrhea for 4 days afterward. This place is horrible and has horrible customer service. I placed an online order and delivery time said around 35 - 45 minutes - I can manage that. When 50 minutes came around, I called just to make sure I wasn't forgotten. I was told "If your food has not arrived in 10 minutes call back". 10 minutes go by....nothing, so I give it an extra 5 just in case, and call back. Same woman answers and gives me the same speech. I told her "you've already told me this once" and she responds with "10 minutes, ok?" and hangs up. Another 10 minutes go by, nothing. I thought to myself, screw it, just wait. An HOUR AND A HALF total went by and I called back a THIRD time. Spoke with someone different -- she checks on the order and tells me it hasn't even been made yet. Are you kidding me?! I ask if she can cancel the order and credit my credit card, I'm put on hold and after a few minutes she comes back and says "yeah we can" I said "ok please do, thank you" and she HANGS UP ON ME. No apology, no nothing. No trying to remedy the situation. I'm sorry, but Chinese food -- 1.5 hours and still not even made -- ridiculous!! I will not be ordering food or eating here ever again, and will discourage my friends from ever eating here either. UPDATE: Two plus hours later a deliver guy just showed up at our house with the food and a bill for us to sign. I thought we had cancelled the order. I sent him away and called the store back -- spoke to the SAME girl who was supposed to cancel our order. She said "hm weird I'll cancel it" and hangs up on me. I'm sorry, but that is not enough confirmation for me to believe that it will actually get cancelled! I called back and asked to speak to the manager -- after giving her our delivery address she quickly says "we will reverse order" and tries to hang up! She was ready to rush me off the phone as quickly as the employee. I had to request she slows down and have a conversation with me about confirmation of the credit on our account. I unfortunately will have to now monitor my credit card closely to ensure that the credit transaction actually happens. I hope a General Manager reads this and has a conversation with that location about their customer service skills. I'm very disappointed. read more

I have been eating here for over 15 years (right around when they opened), I must say that in 15 years and eating there on average 20-30 times a year, I have never had bad service or any food that was not amazing. Schezwan Chicken / Mongolian Chicken / and Shrimp Egg rolls are Killer. In my opinion this is the best Chinese Restaurant in Dayton by far. read more

When my wife and I want Chinese food that is great like you can get in Philadelphia, PA., this is the place we order from. Delivery is fast if you don't pick it up and it comes HOT as in temperature. Try the shrimp Lo Mien. we usually get the small orders because the large are just that.... LARGE! The rice here is great too, even the white rice is good and I'm no fan of white rice. Pot stickers are the best, especially when they are hot. I like my food tasty and hot and Peking Garden gets it right 100% of the time. read more
