This place hit the spot. Was craving Chinese food and have not been able to find the right Chinese food in Westfield/Carmel. This place did great and also not that far. Typical Chinese food order up restaurant ambiance. Easy to order online and pick up in store. Food: The sesame chicken had good batter/crunch with the right amount of sauce that was not too sweet topped with sesame seeds and included broccoli and a side of white rice. Also tried the chicken and broccoli which is a go to and this batch was good, saucy not too salty. The vegetable lo mein was ok, didn't hit the spot but glad I tried it. Surprisingly I feel like there aren't many Chinese take out places near us. We found this place about 15 mins away and decided to check them out based on other positive reviews. Easy to online order and food was ready when we arrived. We had the sesame chicken which came with a little broccoli and was delicious. I was also a fan of the chicken and broccoli. I got this with pork fried rice which was a $3 up charge and honestly would have been better with white rice (in my opinion) We had the vegetable lo mein which was meh. Not the same sauce I was expected but edible. Also pretty good crab Rangoon! I would return here for more takeout in the future. It's definitely geared towards take out not sit down but not knowing that we went in and asked if we could sit down to eat and they were very welcoming and stated of course we could. Very plain decor of course this was the best Chinese food I have had in a very long time if not ever! I had all of the things that I judge Chinese restaurants on and they were out of this world amazing. See the pictures below though they do not do it justice. I wish this was a lot closer to home as it is a bit out of the way. Definitely order it and pick it up. You will not be disappointed. read more

Food was sub par. The General Tso's Chicken Comb was good but nothing amazing. The chicken Lo Mein, is usually my favorite but was very much let down by butchered & half raw chicken. Not impressed at all & Will no be returning unfortunately. Family was very nice though! read more

Peking Garden is our favorite local Chinese takeout restaurant. Food was ready 15 minutes after I placed our order. The inside of the restaurant is clean. From the pick up counter, you can see people cooking in the small kitchen. We tried two dishes. The Orange Beef was really good, medium spicy and had small slivers of orange rind, which was a nice pop of orange flavor. Plain white rice came on the side. We also tried Singapore Rice Noodles, which were spicy and flavored with yellow curry and came with vegetables, shrimp, pork, and chicken. I added Chili Crunch that we had at home for more spice. The pork fried rice is fine, when I got to my cashew chicken, the chicken was the consistency of if a dumpling and tapioca pudding made a nugget. At first, I thought just one piece was maybe a fluke, but the entire container that wasn't vegetable or cashew was all chicken gristle. Upon returning the container for a refund, I was asked if I wanted the white meat chicken. I was not aware that at a restaurant you would have to ask for the good meat, you figure that would be standard. When a Saturday night craving for Chinese takeout hit, I came to Yelp and decided to try Peking Garden. We were rewarded with very solid, "textbook" Chinese takeout food. The crab Rangoon and egg rolls were fantastic and definitely seemed to be made in house, not some frozen, prepackaged kind. My Sesame Chicken was exactly what I was looking for, and the pork fried rice was good too. My girlfriend also enjoyed her Sweet & Sour Chicken with vegetable fried rice. We both had plenty leftover for lunch the next day. We also got an order of the fried biscuits for dessert. Perfectly fried and tossed in powdered sugar, they were a great way to end the meal. There are closer Chinese restaurants to where I live. But, this place is worth the 15-20 minute drive. Above Average for all of my go to dishes (steamed dumplings, sweet & sour chicken, pork fried rice, and wonton soup.) Tried the Bourbon Chicken based on other reviews, and I have now added that dish to my rotation as well, as it is very good! Service is up to par every time I have picked up my order. read more

Our kids split either the chicken lo mein or sweet and sour chicken. I love that the fried rice doesn't have egg as we have many of our family members that do not like egg. The shrimp was over done and tough. The oyster sauce tasted off. The beef and broccoli was not flavorful. About the only thing I eat is Sweet and Sour Pork. Peking does not disappoint on this order. The Pork is always tender and they use the white meat. I have never had a piece with fat or gristle. I have also had their egg rolls and snatched a piece of sesame chicken from my kids' order. The breading on the pork is never greasy, always crisp. Better spot than it looks, we've been coming here for years. General tso's is as good as they say and the Rangoon is honestly to die for. Egg rolls mediocre unfortunately, seems like grease is a little dirty. But I have gastroparesis and need to avoid garlic and onion- they made my general Tso without garlic and said they could do that with pretty much anything. Amazing. No premade sauce. Also, my husband and son are black which can be difficult in a smaller town but they're always treated respectfully by the staff when picking up. read more

Literally the worst "Chinese" I've ever had. We've lived next to Peking Garden for almost two years and had yet to try it. Today I really wanted beef and broccoli so I thought I'd give it a go. I ordered beef and broccoli and chicken fried rice. They sent (I ordered through Uber eats) chicken and broccoli and the chicken was so fatty I couldn't even eat it. The chicken in the rice was the same way, slimy and fatty. It was absolutely disgusting. The egg roll was decent. But I won't be ordering again. I'm so disappointed. I called...just wanted a refund for the items they omitted and they said they couldn't refund to a credit card...although they took my order on a credit card. Laughable.
