Tried New China for dinner and had a great experience! I ordered the tofu vegetable soup and steamed vegetables with tofu (no shrimp) they were super accommodating with my request and made it perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I also sampled the orange chicken, and it was delicious, crispy, tangy, and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming inside. Great spot for takeout or a casual dine-in meal.

I went and tried New China yesterday and it was really great. The rice needed a lil soy sauce but the chicken was cooked well, saucy, and it was a good portion size. Now I got a side order of crab Rangoon and those were really good but it only came with two. I needed more. The women working at the establishment were very nice and helpful. I'll definitely going back and make sure I eat inside.

Overall good Chinese food. I preferred the general tso over the sesame chicken - more flavor. The pot stickers were disappointing. They were supposed to be fried...it was definitely giving more steamed. Would order it again!

I decided to this place a try after reading reviews and hearing recommendations from social media groups. I conveniently placed an order online for my Chinese takeout usual. I ordered on my way home on a Saturday afternoon and was given an approximate 15 minutes for a pickup time. Upon arrival I noticed the restaurant's dining area very clean. There were several tables set up for eat in service. My to go order was ready. The meal was filling, but was pretty standard. The rice was bland and I've had better general tso sauce. Unfortunately, I probably won't return.

Excellent value. Food is delicious, especially enjoyed their soups. The spicy shrimp soup, chicken noodle soup, and egg drop with wontons... all delicious and well priced. Good carry out packaging as well.

Ordered in on a Friday night. Our food was ready within 10 minutes! When we walked in the restaurant, it was very clean, and there was a couple there eating in. The food is very flavorful, very good quality. We got the dinner combos, that are $9.75 each, and well worth the value! The general tsos is better than panda express's. My partner tried the Moo goo gai pan, which he had never tried before. He said it was different, and definitely worth a try! Overall, we will be back. Excellent service, clean restaurant, great food, and copious quantities!

I get take out from here quite often, I am a fan of the hot and sour soup and the house special Mai fun. Hubs and I decided to dine in (11.21.24) . I mixed up my usual order a bit and got the sicy shrim and chicken noodles soup and the Singapore Mai fun. - Basically the house special but with curry. Hubs had the curry chicken . Mine was good. His didn't have a ton of chicken and was mosty onions. I ut his leftovers in my dish which was perfect. So, the thing about dine in is it is all presented in the plastic take out containers and plastic silverware, cans of soda, etc. So really, takeout is the way to go. #yum #ReviewsByRL

The food was amazing. I was able to get my food delivered fast, and it was still hot. The service was great when I asked for help. The restaurant is clean and organized.

    28. House Special Chow Mein

Only giving 1 star because I have to. I ordered a couple of plates to go. The beef from the beef and broccoli was hard and tasted old. I ordered the house chow mein and there was no noodles just a bunch of onion and oil and meats. The sweet and sour sauce was just sour and the rice was stale with frozen veggies. Never ordering from here again.

The country music playing which was a little off-theme but it wasn't too loud and you can easily have a conversation across a table. Service was very attentive and food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Food: For appetizers we got the vegetable pakora and vegetable samosas which were solid. There were 8 pakora per order so super easy to share and 3 samosas which are massive so you can easily split these in half if needed. For those wondering, "momos" are essentially the Tibetan/mongolian version of chinese dumplings which subsequently spread southwest to Nepal. We got the traditional Nepali, Chilli Yak, Chilli Chicken, and Chicken C versions which essentially covered the steamed, fried, and soup style preparations of dumplings. All of them were honestly delicious and different enough from one another we didn't feel like we duplicated flavors. The favorite was the Chilli chicken on if you have to pick just one to try. The traditional nepali thali is a dinner set that comes out on a bronze plate, I got mine with lamb curry which was very tender and not too gamey tasting at all. The basmati rice was fluffy and it comes with daal soup, cauliflower, a fermented pickle relish, and one of those syrup soaked balls (gulab jamun). It is quite filling so come hungry if you order this. The chow mein here is unique. It is NOT like Cantonese chow mein which uses a soy + oyster sauce base but instead the Nepalese version adds ketchup and chili sauce so it actually tastes like a hybrid between the chinese dish and spaghetti. It is actually quite tasty and worth a try if you're a fan of either dish. The naan here comes out a little bit oily but otherwise is fluffy and tasty, did not regret ordering it. Overall this place justifies it's 5 star rating. The flavors are punchy and delicious, the portions are massive, and the prices very reasonable especially the inflation nowadays. Would strongly encourage any to go out of their way to give this place a try.

Still one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the greater Indy region. 3/5 stars however because the food was lukewarm and did not seem well-maintained. Despite the good assortment of options to choose from, the buffet didn't seem as clean as I would have liked. If you don't mind these things it's definitely good bang for your buck. My recommendation is to order regular entrees for dinner though. Not sure if it's a different chef or manager during those times but this was my husband's consensus as well. We both have ordered takeout here countless times but decided not to return for the buffet. We like our food hot and fresh and will pay the premium for that in the future. They didn't have palak paneer or paneer tikka masala for brunch either which are what I typically eat.
