    Fried green beans

The ambiance and service was great. The food could use much improvement. Their fries are so thin and came out room temperature. Their previous fries were much thicker and tastier I think they should switch back. The green beans I remember being much spicier and less deep fried. The chicken in the Caesar salad appeared to come pre-seasoned, cut and cooked from a bag. I recommend they use real tenders that they make in house; this chicken was not. The steak bites for 6 ounces is $26, which I find absurd. Half their menu says market price and there are no prices on their drink menu so you have to ask. The only thing that was good were the chicken wings.

You can see some pink on the right side.

So Sunday 5/11/24 around 6pm I went and had lunch at Pelican Cove Grill I decided to sit in and enjoy myself on Mother's Day. Yall I was sitting there having drinks eating my crab claws minding my business. I decided to order a shrimp wrap to go it took these ppl 45 minutes to bring my wrap. Ok boom got my wrap headed out because I had somewhere else to be. Well I decided to take a bite of my wrap and it was a chicken wrap. At this point I'm irritated so I called them letting them know they messed up my order. They never called back. But this ain't the messed up part. I get home to finish my wrap and why in the world I look under the fries because I see some pink. Yall it was a VAPE!!! Man I'm disgusted. Ain't no telling who food it was or who the vape belongs to. It's Covid 19 times. Yall that messed my whole day up and all the manager Mr Scott Stevens offered was a refund that he never gave me. Neither has he reached back out! YALL PLEASE SHARE AND DONT GO TO Pelican Cove Grill in ridgeland

My wife and I went for lunch on Sunday and sat at the outside bar. Bartender was very quick to welcome us and gave us menus. We split the shrimp basket, more than enough for the two of us. Came with fries and hush puppies. Great taste ...really enjoyed it. Nice selection of beers but nothing on tap. Wife had their frozen specialty drink, Pink Pelican. Tasty! Live music...Hunter Gibson! My wife and I actually met when he was playing at a lounge 35 years ago.

Horrible is an understatement‼ Brianna is a good waitress but the manger Andria needs customer service training.

The Brookie is not only HUGE, but it's just so amazing. I can't even describe it. 1000/10 must have. The Ribeye is my go to. It's huge and absolutely flavorful and exquisite. The fries were crisp and salted perfectly. I absolutely love this place, and have never had an issue or unpleasant experience.

My delicious cocktail. Their take on a whiskey sour is incredible. Definitely get a Township Sour! The crawfish fondue was a bit grainy. Not near as smooth as it has been in the past. The hand cut fries are always top tier though. I had the house salad with grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp were smaller than I expected. Flavor was ok. They were cooked appropriately but small. I opted to sub the dressing for their ranch. It was a good house made dressing. Mike and the other guy with us got the ribeye, Pittsburg, medium rare. Mike forgot to ask for the sauce to be on the sauce rather than covering the steak and fries. It's not that the sauce is bad but a good steak doesn't need to be covered in sauce. The downside to this is that they put the steak on top of those incredible house cut fries and between that and the sauce you end up with a soggy bed of french fries. The steak was cooked perfectly. His wife got the filet with a house salad. She said it was cooked as ordered and tasted great. Let me take a moment to say that their floors have some weird waxy feel and it's like ice skating. Our friend fell and everyone at surrounding tables commented how they had been slip sliding around. Dessert at Lou's has never disappointing. Their pecan pie is one of the best ever. The blueberry cobbler is amazing. I have never eaten a dessert there that was not phenomenal. Hannah also made me a fresh cup of decaf and it was such a good cup of coffee. Hannah was an excellent server and the host was quite friendly. We aren't fans of the booth bench seating where you feel like you're eating with the people next to you. The tables on the wall benches seem closer in this location. We will go back and try it again but I will go with my usual redfish #1 and see if it is still as incredible as it has been before.

The restaurant has a formal setting, but with a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. We started with some drinks and a wedge salad. Portions are large but they don't skimp on quality. Overall 4.25 Stars…read more Buying a new sleep number mattress and base can get your appetite going. After a successful purchase and a hemorrhaging from my credit card, we opted to celebrate the occasion with a meal. And Lo and behold Table 100 was just across the street from where we were. Ambiance 4 Stars - as you walk into the establishment, you are transported back where the warm wood interior, cozy white table cloth tables or booths, high end bar drinks, and classy servers in their white or black attire are waiting to serve you. There plenty of tables and booths to seat a plentiful of patrons. And if you need a little bit more private, you can request a private room depending how many are in the party. 4.5 Stars - Service: our server, Andrew was wonderful, professional and has a great sense of humor. We bantered throughout our dinner but the conversation never crossed over to make anyone uncomfortable. He was observant of our needs and when to bring our next course. Our glasses stayed full with our beverage. 4.25 Stars - Food We ordered from the dinner menu instead of lunch due to our timing at 3:00. Let's just call it "Linner". Haha. 4 Stars - Grilled Swordfish- My wife ordered the dish and came with a decent size grilled swordfish fish, sauté spinach, creamed mash potatoes, and a beurre blanc sauce (lemon, butter and dry white wine). The swordfish was thick and moist; not dry at all. The beurre blanc balanced the bland spinach and the seasoned swordfish. The creamed potatoes were creamy, buttery's and not too salty. 3.75 Stars - Pan seared Redfish with cube fried potatoes, sauté green beans, beurre blanc sauce and top w a Chilean tomato salsa. The redfish was moist and tasty but I wish it had a little bit seared on it for a crunchy factor. The cubed potatoes were good but nothing to write about. The fresh sauté green beans could have a bit more garlic butter. 3.5 Stars Side dish: Deep Fried Brussel Sprouts. Hot, steamy and fresh. Has a slight crunch on the exterior leaves and was seasoned w a sprinkle of salt. 3.75 Dessert: Crème Brûlée and coffee. The crème brûlée crust was crunchy and the vanilla egg custard was good and smooth. It would have been better was a scoop of fresh whipped cream to go with the fresh fruit and crunchy layer. 5 Stars - French pressed Italian coffee. The coffee was a highlight of the dessert. It was hot, fresh, and strong. Just like an Italian coffee should be. It was between an espresso and caffe' Americano. Our, server, Andrew did a wonderful job on the coffee! I definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Don't forget to ask for Andrew, if he is available.
