I asked a lady cleaning where he went. She said, "Bathroom. He'll be back in about an hour." Additionally, when I did finally see the guy, I asked him where I could put tips. He took out a jar from behind the register. I politely told him he might want to keep that out front on the counter so people tip more. He extended the jar, I put a dollar in, and he put the jar back behind the register--all with a genuine smile. I do not understand these people! Lol. I got food here several times. The fruit cups were excellent, and all but one veggie tray was good. That one had been sitting out too long. The popcorn is legit! I guess popcorn and fruit cups hold more weight than service and veggie trays.

The salad was nothing more than iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Given the state of lettuce right now, I wasn't going to fool with the salad. I don't eat refried beans so I can't review them. But that shrimp chimichanga....I feel like it needs a review all by itself! The shrimp were chopped a little, which I found myself liking more than having whole ones in there, and seasoned and grilled to the heavens! Whew!!!! The tortillas were the kind you can tell are made fresh: soft, warm, and sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. I went for al pastor and birria, and both came out packed with flavor. Staff will speak only in Spanish to you. As a Latina, I find that this not only is unprofessional but not tailored to serve a community that is in need for reasonable pricing. I am heading to Hattiesburg area to pick up some of these staples bcuz there is no reason these prices should represent California prices.
