I found On The Spot through a Google search, and decided to give it a try because it's close to my work. I called and spoke to Tyrone. I think he's the owner, and he was very accommodating about getting my car scheduled quickly for a simple exterior wash. That particular service isn't listed on their standard menu, but Tyrone quoted me a reasonable $50 to hand wash and vacuum. When I arrived at my appointment time, I was promptly greeted and invited to wait inside in the AC (thank God) while my car was washed. I left my car where it was and went in. The waiting area is simple but comfortable with a TV playing some recent NBA game. It wasn't long before I was being called back out because my car was done! It was surprisingly fast, and my car looked great! I had even asked if they would apply a tire dressing I had brought myself, and they did it with no problem and no extra charge. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and value of On The Spot, and I'll be using them for my regular car washes. I think I'll explore the detailing at some point too. For some people, this wouldn't be too bad, but considering I travel up and down the US at least twice a year and have two dogs who love to shed, it was a pretty big ask for anyone to tackle that interior. Was it more than I wanted to pay? Yes. Did it need it, and so I agreed to it? Also yes. I called and was able to get in the same day that I wanted to sell the car. It took almost an hour and a half to really get in there and get it all cleaned out. However, everything looked so beautiful when it was completed. I brought a book with me to wait in their nice, air-conditioned waiting room. I'm not going to say that the car looked as good as new, but after 11 years with two crazy dogs and 154K miles? It was pretty damn impressive. The guys there were great, and the service was well worth it. I even got top dollars for my very old car. Thanks, y'all!

I had no intent of washing my own car or wait in the heat for a hand wash by someone else. So I opted to try something new. This was my first time going through a drive thru car wash and I was pretty satisfied by the outcome. I got the express wash for $8 and there was an attendant at the machine to take my payment. The drive through for the express option took around 5 minutes and I was out of there. By the time I got home, I realized the roof of my car had some type of film still on it, but for the most part my car was clean. Overall, for the price, it was more than half the cost of paying someone to hand wash my car, and my car was pretty clean. If I need another car wash in a hurry, this will be my go to. Location is pretty convenient on Veterans and besides drive through, you can also wash and vacuum your own car. There are other packages/upgrades you can purchase. I think the most expensive car wash was $16 and vacuuming is free with washes.

There is a spacious area for the vacuums, but pro tip: use the vacuums on the side of the car wash for stronger suction. I like this place - I plan to return here regularly. The guy spraying down my car right b4 entering the car wash had a 3 INCH Swastika on the back of his hoody. I called him over & told him he I would not be back because of his swastika. He told me he didn't know what it was. There is no way guy in his early 20s doesn't know what a swastika is. As I was entering the car wash, I could see, another older employee came over & after a quick convo he turned him around & looked at it. After I got out of the car wash I came around to vacuum & neither employee was out there. Because of this I will give the owners the benifit of the doubt & will return. Hopefully the management handled the situation. My eyes will be open & I will appreciate all comments to this post if anybody has a similar experience.

Their greatest downside is the parking situation and pulling through when it's busy. It can get very crowded and you can get stuck at a vacuum spot so I would not go during busy hours if you're in a rush. Every purchase gets you a microclothe for drying and vacuums. Vacuum heads are not tiny for detailing but are powerfully for basic rugs and easy to reach spots.

The bad part was the dryers could have been a bit better. In fact, during the drying phase one of the water nozzles on the drivers side was still squirting water. We got a pretty good chuckle watching the car before get "dried". Maybe it just needs a bit of maintenance to get it right, I don't know. Overall if you want a quick wash to get your car clean give this place a try. I will be back. The owner reached out and seems very responsive and eager to get things remedied and that is a good thing. I wish all owners cared about their business this much. Its refreshing.
