I think he believes that he is an "expert" in design and is offended if a client (who was a former graphic designer and has been working in the fashion industry for decades) has a different opinion or need. It was always sorry your quantity's too low, we don't let you provide your own garments, can't print on sleeves, can't print on hoods, can't do this, can't do that. The good fellas at Lords of Print are extremely flexible and go above and beyond to make the project happen, putting in a lot of experimentation and extra work to get it done right. I know that if they tell me it can't be done, it actually can't be done. Pricing has always been transparent and fair, communication is always quick and on point. The quality of the screen printing is top notch as well. On the rare occasion that a slip-up happens (misprint, etc), they are incredibly accountable and make sure it's addressed instantly. I've worked with them on a couple of tight deadlines and they've never disappointed. Digitek Printing is a fantastic place for large format prints. My experience with them was quick,…read moreefficient and seamless. I had a large format portrait photograph printed on their black 3/16" gatorboard, laminated in semi-gloss. I uploaded the file to my Google drive, sent them the link and the print was ready the next day. The result is an extremely durable, water and weather resistant, warp-free, color accurate "poster." Although the word "poster" doesn't do justice to what is really a fine art print on super rigid hardboard. Their store front in the Apparel Way office complex off of Industrial (a few blocks from Lowe's on Bayshore) is neat and tidy, and has plenty of street parking. Although I didn't really get to interact with the employees, the gentleman who handed me the extremely well- packaged print (including oversize cardboard backer, so no edges can get dinged--nice!) was very friendly and courteous. The prices for Digitek's prints are quite reasonable, especially compared to inkjet fine-art giclee prints. Plus there is the added bonus of being able to choose foamboard or hardboard (gatorboard) backing, which you an actually touch without ruining the print. The gatorboard print I got is technically "mounted" on the rigid panel. But to my eye, there is no seam. It is as if the photo was a part of the backing or printed directly on it. Again, a color-accurate, durable, very high quality presentation for fine-art photography. I can't recommend Digitek highly enough.
