Walking into OOB, Jackson came up to us and assessed our skill level and physique before recommending any boards to us. He wasn't pushy about getting us to buy a board and offered us a good deal. My friend paid a little over $750 for the entire package and my board + bindings came to around $470 for the set - all taxes included. All the boards and bindings are set up for you so that if you don't know how to do your own set up, you don't have to worry about it. Prices were in like with retail, although did have some previous year models at a discounted price. I love that there was a fire going both inside the store and outside in a little chimenia - makes me feel like winter! They also have a tee-pee for some storage area, but still pretty cool if you ask me. It's a hike, but definitely a solid spot if you're looking for some gear and tune ups this winter season. I was told that it depended on how bad the scratches were but the services would range from $25 to $70 The next day I visited Ski Barn and was told the scratches would need P-Tex and would be $75 to fill. It was annoying that it was more than I was told, but I was fine with this si ce I know I snowboarded on an area that was rocky last season. I picked my snowboard up a couple weeks later. It still had scratches. It was not worth their recommended service for the employees to not fill in the scratches. Would not recommend going to this Ski Barn.

They charge about $45 to mount the bindings (discounted from $115), even though both the skis and bindings were purchased there. In my experience, most shops mount bindings for free when both items are bought from them. The skis also had to be sent out (understandable) but then I would be paying for a service and unable to ski for about a week or so. I went to Blue Mountain and found their services to be cheaper and faster. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable--unlike my experience at Buckman's. I'll be going there from now on.
