The worst customer service possible. Four or five employees working there, no one asked what I needed or even looked up at me while I was standing there for over 20 minutes. I left the place and went to a local shop in Basking Ridge, just 13 minutes away. I've been buying from this store since it took ownership from the previous bike store owners. Their Service and Sales initiatives are perfect! All of their employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Whether you are looking for a new bike or need service assistance with your current bike, I would recommend them very highly. My most recent purchase was the Trek Domane 5 electric version. I enjoy doing rides, mostly in the 30 to 60 mile range, and wanted to get assistance in riding hills. This bike is under 50 pounds with the extra battery and rides like a regular road bike if I don't have the battery turned on. I do have leather seats on two of my other bikes, however, I felt no need to change this seat or any of its other components. This bike shop is great. It was the first time I used them. I had them perform their #2 service packet on my bike, which included a full and detailed wash of all components. My bike came back sparkling clean, the shifting was adjusted perfectly and it was an overall excellent experience. I highly recommend this shop. I screwed up my brand new bike's spokes right before a planned weekend of fun. So I called the shop to see if they can help. They told me they can complete service in 24 hours. Pablo walked me through the service tiers and what will be done. Within a few hours they had my bike ready to go same day! 4/27/20 This Trek store in Stirling was the only store around that had the Marlin 6 I wanted in stock. I called ahead before I arrived and was pleasantly greeted by all of the staff who now operated only outside in the store's parking lot. The store manager Pete showed me the model I was looking for and I took a quick ride in the parking lot. I immediately bought it knowing it was their only one in that size; the whole transaction took 5 minutes and I was on my way. My wife liked my bike so much we returned to the store two hours later and bought one in her size. We're both super happy with our purchase and Pete did an excellent job in getting us what we wanted. In these hard times I really appreciated that Pete and his staff were able to be extra accommodating. 5/3/20 Update* There was something wrong with the rear derailer on my new bike causing it to bend and hit the rear wheel. I immediately brought it back to Pete at Trek Stirling to get it fixed. He recognized me instantly and got to work on my bike right away. Not only did Pete and his staff diagnose and were able to repair the parts that broke but they actually upgraded the derailer and chain which had some damage. My bike is better than new! I'm super grateful that Pete also took care of the labor cost which the customer is usually responsible for in regards to warranty repairs. The customer service level of this store is truly amazing. I can't thank them enough for taking care of my bike. I wouldn't hesitant my friends and family to support this store. I'm a Trek customer for life. Thanks Pete! read more

I am not an experienced rider by any means and had no idea what to expect when I walked into TREK on a Thursday evening. First, the store is super clean and organized. It makes you want to shop and hang out there. I was immediately greeted by the staff, all of which were super friendly. I explained how I had gotten a used bike and was hoping they could take a look at it and let me know if it was still usable. They helped me get the bike out of my car, took a look and said it was useable! They actually took the bike and fixed it all up so now I am ready to start training for my triathlon. I went to the shop to buy hybrid tires for my bike. The sales associate said he ordered them and they would be in within 7 days. 10 days later I called and spoke to Pete he said my order was never entered into the system by the associate and he would personally take care of it and order them immediately and would call me back the next day with a status. I waited 3 days with no returned phone call so I called again for a status. Again Pete apologize for not calling and said the tires would in here in 2 days and would call when they arrive. It is now 4 days later with no phone call or tires. I wish when people say they will call with a status, they do and if they say they ordered something for you, they did. I really wanted this shop to be my "go to shop" but very disappointed and would not recommend it. read more

My daughter was between sizes for a new bike, they had the smaller size in stock and given how impossible it has been to source bikes this covid summer they could easily have taken my cash but wisely advised me to continue searching. I did find the better size at a distant Trek store a few weeks later so I appreciate their honest guidance. When my new Bontrager shoes developed a fault not long after purchase and replacements were not readily available in my size, they upgraded me to a far more expensive model at no cost to quickly get me back on the road. They don't allow you to freely walk around and look at the bikes without assistance - also they "make" you hand sanitize before entering. No thanks! Doesn't make sense to be followed around - the further distance the better right? And if I don't touch anything and am just looking why do I need to sanitize? Very disappointed. I took my son's bike in a few weeks ago to have his wheel repaired. They tried to sell me a bigger wheel than before because they didn't have the size that was on his bike in stock. I didn't want to do this so I asked if they could order the correct size and they said yes. They took all my information to get back in touch with me but I never heard from them again. This was very frustrating because not only did they never get back to me but I also could never get through on their phone line. No one ever answered the various times I called. I don't know that I will go back there again. Guess we will have to find a new bike shop that pays attention to details and will get back to its customers as promised. read more

Nice kids working there but service is in chaos. Bought a new bike last summer and brought in for service. 2 1/2 weeks and hour of Covid waiting lines and bike still isn't fixed. They threw lube on chain when I got there and said it was serviced. It will be 20 minutes further but I am running back to Marty's Reliable. read more

What a wonderful experience! Trek Bicycle Stirling has a wonderful staff, they all seem to love what they do and are very knowledgeable. I went in with my wife and a young man named Christian helped me find a perfect bike, he answered all my questions, and let me the it for a test ride. When I decided to purchase a particular model Christian was patient when I had made some changes. This store is very organized and clean. The staff surely makes you feel welcome and you are not rushed. We went back a week later to get some other accessories. Christian recognized me and asked how I was enjoying the bike. This time Neil was the person who helped. A very knowledgeable man who helped with many questions about a couple of things that I had in mind to add to the bike. There was never any pressure to purchase any products, but he did explain the differences of products. He even mentioned that I had the perfect bike that I should enjoy it now, and then down the road if I felt I needed an upgrade to come back and the shop will take care if it.( I was thinking about doing some upgrading already). He has the same bike that I had purchased and said he is very happy with the performance of it. I purchased different pedals and a computer chip that sits on the handle bars. He was kind enough to make time to install both. read more
