They did not have it in stock, he ordered the one I wanted and it arrived faster than expected. I spoke with the owner as I was leaving and he thanked me for my purchase and as it turned out was the same as the one he had in his home. Avery and Christian came to remove the old one, installed the new one quickly too. Everyone was so nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. I could not be happier with my treadmill or the service. I sent a screen capture from a competitor showing a price that was $85 less than what FitnessZone was quoting and asked if they would match that price. The email from Scott said, "No. We have money invested in inventory to be able to fill orders faster. The on line price is as low as we can go. Sorry." I ended up buying the machine from the other vendor for $200 lower (shipping included) than Scott said he could go despite FitnessZone's "Price Match" banner on their website.

Well, they do have some Merrell hiking shoes, but only 10 pairs of women's. I counted what was in the shelf. Exactly ten. They don't have any 6 1/2 so I tried in a 6 and a 7. I need a 6 1/2, so I sat on the bench and ordered a pair online from the Merrell store. Frankly, the amount of women's hiking shoes and socks was dismal. Weird thing happened when I was sitting there. An employee, a white male heavy set probably in his 30's was talking to another employee kind of loudly saying "It is always the white middle age women I'm telling you. Always!" I am not sure what that was about, but as a white senior woman, that didn't sit well with me I left the store. My review is not about the comment, but lack of inventory. But the comment bugs me.

This particular location of Dick's Sporting Goods is located in nice wall with plenty of parking and an overall safe feeling. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and this was an overall very positive experience. I have been a fan of Dick's Sporting Goods for a few years now. I seem to use them more around the holidays as a resource for gifts and every time around christmas, I have to wonder allowed why I don't come in here more when it's not gift giving season. All in all, I would definitely recommend this particular location of Dick's Sporting Goods. It is in a great shopping plaza with plenty of parking, the store is attractive and well stocked and the staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. This adds up to a winning combination.
