It appears that her primary motivation may be financial gain, rather than the well-being of her patients in the long term. I have consulted with legal counsel and have learned that my case is not an isolated incident. With nearly 20 years of experience in the medical field, I have never encountered a physician with such poor bedside manner, dishonesty, malpractice, and disregard for follow-up care. I underwent what was supposed to be a routine fibroid removal surgery with Dr. Hansard, only to discover at my two-week follow-up appointment that she had performed a different surgical procedure, informing me, "I am very sorry, but you will need to contact a surrogate." This was after myself and my mother requesting nothing to be done if she discovered a fibroid was not the issue. She went against my wishes and even changed my consent form. This shocking news was delivered to my mother, who was left to explain the situation in Dr. Hansard's absence. I have never in 20 years known a surgeon to perform a procedures other than what a patient consented to then LEAVE the hospital without explanation. When I finally had my 2 week follow up, I asked why she didn't inform me herself or hadn't returned my calls. To which she said " I was on vacation." At my two week follow I expressed my concern with right calf pain and pain at my incision site. Dr. Hansard NEVER examined me. She had me in a consulation room on a couch and sat approx 10 feet away from me. Walked me out front and discharged me. A few days later I ended up in the emergency room, then admitted to the ICU. With the following: sepsis, abdominal abscess, dvt, PE & heart issues. I was a healthy 36 year old female seeking my first child. Despite my critical condition and subsequent 15-day hospitalization in the ICU due to sepsis, deep vein thrombosis, and multiple pulmonary embolisms, Dr. Hansard failed to provide adequate care that could have resulted in my death. As a result of her negligence, I am now unable to conceive children. Dr. Hansard has failed to initiate any form of contact or offer follow-up care. I have inquired an immense amount of debt due to paying for fertility visits and now a multitude of hospital bills. Do yourself a favor and never trust your life or the life of your future children with this doctor.

Transferring to TFC was the best decision we ever made. Dr Silverberg not only helped us conceive our baby boy through IVF, but he also discovered I was diabetic. Dr Silverberg is there for his patients, and he also got to the root cause of my miscarriages and after two procedures and the removal of all the polyps, I was finally able to have a successful pregnancy. I honestly wasn't sure we'd be able to have a baby until I met Dr. Silverberg. We will always be grateful to Dr. Silverberg and his team for helping us make our dream a reality. Our baby boy was born this fall! I can't tell you the amount of times I've emailed and called Dr. S's team with a billion questions, and they always met me with patience and compassion. Be sure to ask questions and voice any symptoms or concerns that you have at your appointments, because sometimes visits can go fast. If you forget, simply leave a message for the nurse line, and they will get back to you. After sharing with Dr S's team where I was mentally and physically with the IVF process, the team worked with me to find an IVF transfer protocol that met me where I was. IVF in general can be very mentally and physically draining, so be sure to let the team know how you're feeling if it becomes too much. IMO these doctors are definitely worth the wait time. That's how you know they spend time with their patients and THEY CARE. Any great doctor's office typically has a wait time. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with infertility. The one learning curve I did have transferring from another clinic was figuring out how contacting the nurse team and doctor worked. At the last clinic, I was able to message them directly in a portal. At this clinic, you have to call and pick the correct extension depending on the day and time. So when you meet with your nurse on the first day, make sure you ask them the proper procedure for that and make sure you understand it. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty straightforward. Dr S's nurse team is stellar, and they are really on top of things. If only every doctor's office had a team like that! They have spoiled me with how good they are! Another thing is to stay on top of is the billing with the billing dept since appointments and procedures happen frequently. That's the one thing I wish I was more on top of and kept better track of, especially in the beginning of the journey.

From our very first consultation, he took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, answer all our questions (no matter how many or how small), and make us feel completely supported. If you're beginning your fertility journey and Dr. Silverberg is your doctor, rest assured you're in the best possible hands. He combines medical expertise with a warm, understanding approach that makes such a difference during what can often be an anxious process. Thank you, Dr. Silverberg, for everything you've done for our family. You've made an immeasurable impact on our lives.

Though I went to PP frequently as a college student for birth control, I hadn't considered them for reproductive care as an adult until recently. I was behind on my HPV vaccine series after getting the first dose at age 45 -- and literally no one would help me out because I was now magically past the recommended age for the vaccine series. I asked local pharmacies, the health department, etc., and it was extremely upsetting to have made an informed choice about my health (with my primary care physician's blessing) and not be able to get the care I needed. I called Planned Parenthood, and they were extremely kind and helpful and talked me through my options with regard to insurance, payment, etc. I have now been twice to the office. It's located in a generic office building and isn't particularly aesthetically pleasing, but the people who work there are caring and helpful. I also like that they are welcoming to all genders and orientations. Keep up the important work, PP!

I just knew I was going to miscarry... I called about every uncomfortable feeling and he was patient and understanding. His nurses were the best support system a patient could have. We were rushed but that's because everything was good! If there was a problem he slowed down and talked with me. Most recently I decided find another OBGYN that was covered by my newly acquired insurance. Dr Doss' office called me and when I declined scheduling my yearly appointment, assured me that they took my insurance and my appointment would be covered. I came in and gave them my card only to find out later that they are not in the network they told me they were in. I did my best to work it out with my insurance company, but ultimately felt this was the fault of the office as they shouldn't have assured me that I would be covered without all the necessary information. When I went back to work with them on the bill (as my medical money went towards insurance this year instead of paying for appointments out of pocket like I have in the past) they were aggressive, unhelpful and sent me to a bill collector. There are enough good doctors in this city, why work with terrible staff who are not good at customer service. I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere, as I will be from now on.
