She listens, takes her time with you, follows up, etc. My husband and I both felt extremely comfortable and at ease with her from the moment we met. Second, she's a great doctor. All our visits were informative and through, and she sent us to a specialist once when there was a potential possibility of a complication, as a precaution. Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, is that she really cares. I know there are some doctors who push c-sections, inductions, cord banking, etc., but Dr. Mileur was all about "let's deliver a healthy baby". My delivery ended up being quite complicated - the baby was too big to come out vaginaly, but Dr. Mileur by NO means jumped to a c-section as a solution, until literally everything else was explored. She did end up performing my c-section, which was as smooth as could be, and the stiching was great - have been healing very well. My baby ended up in the NICU for a little while after birth, and she even went to visit him there (babies have a different doctor once they are born, so she literally went just to see how he was doing). She's definitely my doctor for all my future pregnancies.

So, what I am getting from this is that I am not going to be covered for taking care of my wife during the time she is going through any medical treatment from this company. Do NOT use Kindbody if you do not have someone else that can care for your spouse during treatments in your absence.

Too often with OBGYN visits, you feel rushed--like you're just being moved in and out--but that was absolutely not the case here. Macie was incredibly thorough, patient, and attentive. You could genuinely tell how much she cared, and she took the time to make sure everything was explained and that I felt heard. Dr. Seeker came in very prepared, was extremely kind and understanding of my history, and made me feel like he truly knew me--even though he hasn't been my OB in the past. I was behind on my HPV vaccine series after getting the first dose at age 45 -- and literally no one would help me out because I was now magically past the recommended age for the vaccine series. I asked local pharmacies, the health department, etc., and it was extremely upsetting to have made an informed choice about my health (with my primary care physician's blessing) and not be able to get the care I needed. I called Planned Parenthood, and they were extremely kind and helpful and talked me through my options with regard to insurance, payment, etc. I have now been twice to the office. It's located in a generic office building and isn't particularly aesthetically pleasing, but the people who work there are caring and helpful. Im a GenXer, entering perimenopause at 49yrs old. I just moved to TX fm Southern California where I had access to some of the best medical in the world HOAG, UCLA, USC medical centers. Looking back I was prob in peri around age 44-45 with heavy cycles, brainfog, back sweats, major insomnia. She was one of the ONLY MD's who actually listened, saw and heard me. Its NOT normal to "deal with our next phase female symptoms". I went for a second opinion on a hysterectomy after seeing another gyn who I felt was treating me like a paycheck vs a patient. I was also gaining weight at a rapid amt which has never happened in my entire life. Dr. Abikhaled listened to me, explained why I am indeed a candidate for a hysterectomy based on my labs, ultrasound, biopsy, symptoms. She was also transparent sharing if I didn't feel comfortable or confident with her, she had 2 other colleagues she could refer me to. THIS is the type of medicine I need for me. Dr. Abikhalid is also a very clear communicator. She is very frank while having a nice bedside manner which I appreciate. Fast forward to pre-surgery consultation, based on my case I discussed keeping my ovaries bc Im not in full meno yet and didn't want to slam into meno like some of my friends did. She agreed that was a good option for me. I had my hysterectomy, preserving my ovaries via robotic surgery. It was 90min, outpatient. She was sure to have my pain meds ordered ahead of time. I had 4 small incisions from the surgery. No bleeding. I was off oxy on day 3. Managed pain with Tylenol/motrin. 1 week out I felt pretty strong, an ab binder would have been useful for the 1st 2 weeks esp for sleeping so buy 1 ahead of time (amazon has tons). Helps for ab core support. 3 weeks I was doing short walks outside yet still got fatigued pretty easily. Got back on my hrt patch and no more brain fog, no more insomnia, no more swollen hands and ankles. 6weeks I felt strong and fatigue finally was gone. I was cleared to do light weights again. Im at 8weeks. Im back exercising. Lifting up to 30lb. Back to weight training. Feeling strong, clear headed, no more swelling in my feet/ankles, insomnia is very little and i still get "mild" back sweats around 2/3am. Nothing like pre-hysterectomy where i was sweating through my shirt. If you have peri symptoms and painful or super heavy cycles like I had that is NOT normal. See Dr. Abikahlid. She is one of the best in womens health.

I was terrified of IUI & the side effects of the pills that you have to take and each cycle he tried different dosage and pills just so that it wouldn't have too much of harsh side effect on me. After 3 rounds of IUI, we got pregnant. His care didn't just end there i was still under his care till i hit 8 weeks of pregnancy and then he transferred me to my OB. During those weeks that i was under his care, he constantly was doing Ulta sounds and different tests to be sure it was all good. Both the downtown and westlake office staff were amazing.

Transferring to TFC was the best decision we ever made. Dr Silverberg not only helped us conceive our baby boy through IVF, but he also discovered I was diabetic. Dr Silverberg is there for his patients, and he also got to the root cause of my miscarriages and after two procedures and the removal of all the polyps, I was finally able to have a successful pregnancy. I honestly wasn't sure we'd be able to have a baby until I met Dr. Silverberg. We will always be grateful to Dr. Silverberg and his team for helping us make our dream a reality. Our baby boy was born this fall! I can't tell you the amount of times I've emailed and called Dr. S's team with a billion questions, and they always met me with patience and compassion. Be sure to ask questions and voice any symptoms or concerns that you have at your appointments, because sometimes visits can go fast. If you forget, simply leave a message for the nurse line, and they will get back to you. After sharing with Dr S's team where I was mentally and physically with the IVF process, the team worked with me to find an IVF transfer protocol that met me where I was. IVF in general can be very mentally and physically draining, so be sure to let the team know how you're feeling if it becomes too much. IMO these doctors are definitely worth the wait time. That's how you know they spend time with their patients and THEY CARE. Any great doctor's office typically has a wait time. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with infertility. The one learning curve I did have transferring from another clinic was figuring out how contacting the nurse team and doctor worked. At the last clinic, I was able to message them directly in a portal. At this clinic, you have to call and pick the correct extension depending on the day and time. So when you meet with your nurse on the first day, make sure you ask them the proper procedure for that and make sure you understand it. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty straightforward. Dr S's nurse team is stellar, and they are really on top of things. If only every doctor's office had a team like that! They have spoiled me with how good they are! Another thing is to stay on top of is the billing with the billing dept since appointments and procedures happen frequently. That's the one thing I wish I was more on top of and kept better track of, especially in the beginning of the journey.
