Robert, the owner, promised to have it ready in two weeks. That did not happen. In February, we finally picked it up. When we took it camping, not only did the furnace still not work, but the entire solar/lithium battery system did not work. We took it back to have the problems addressed in April. Robert quoted an amount of $5400 to revamp the system and to install two new awnings. After 18 unanswered phone calls and several visits to the shop, we were finally contacted and told it was ready. When we showed up to retrieve the camper, we were shocked to discover that the new invoice was for a total of over $13,000. None of this was ever presented for our approval. And just now we tried to roll out the awning, and it is broke. Unbelievably terrible experience.

But at 10:30 no one had arrived. I called and they said my tech had called out sick and did I get my confirmation to which I said yes. To be I honest I was grouchy as they made it sound like I was not getting a tech. They then agreed to send someone out. Asked for my phone number and email which was weird as I had been communication via email. They asked for a card and I explained I was paying in cash, to which they said they would let the tech know. The call ended and not 5 minutes later I get another call asking for my email, phone number, and credit card information. Excuse? I just went through all this. She got defensive and then hung up on me. I called back and after a brief exchange I gave them my email and ended the call. The techs ("you got two for one" ) showed up approximately 1 1/2 hours later. To be honest they over didn't seem like they knew what they were doing and didn't come with all the needed equipment. Neither wanted to get under the RV, but reluctantly did so. They had to create a wire to get it done from my left over junk. When it was all said and done they wanted $160 more than the quote. I showed them the quote and the accepted the amount in cash. Additionally they also made me feel that the issue couldn't be repaired more than moving the slide in and locking it. I kind of felt taken advantage of when it was all said and done. I will not be using them again.

I just saved a trip to Elkhart!!…read more We live in a Thor Palazzo RV full time. We've been stranded multiple times because we couldn't get our right (kitchen) slide to retract. We discussed this with Thor and they suggested we come back to the factory to get it addressed. We couldn't decide if it was alignment our the controller. With winter, we opted to deal with it until spring. Over the past 4 weeks, we were again stranded 3 times. The first time, Thor service gave us a tip on reversing the wiring at the controller (under the right side bay). That worked and got us on the road. The next stop had the same issue and again we were stranded. A local mechanic showed me a process to override the controller and again got us on the road. We recently hit Denver for two weeks so I began looking for a way to get it fixed. After three calls to Lazy Days RV which were never returned, I talked to a Overall RV. They were helping me with a frozen valve in the water bay. Turns out the tech was the owner...he and his partner did slide alignments at Camping World for years. They looked at my slide and measured the alignment. I was off by more the 1 1/2 inches, top to bottom putting a strain on the motors and the controller. They gave me an estimate to fix it on site. The cost to drive to Elkhart IN along with continued frustration made my decision easy... two hours later, they aligned the slide, checked the controller and motors, lubbedd the tracks, checked the rollers and tested the slide at least 8 times. They ended their appointment by telling me they reduced my expense by $200! Because only one end of the slide was off track, their labor was less... Oh and they did this work on New Year's Day! A huge shout out to Overall RV Service in Denver CO. They walked me through every step of the process so I would understand what they were doing and how I could keep up with maintenance going forward. They never said a negative word about Thor or the Palazzo and demonstrated a strong knowledge of the rig and systems. Awesome job and keeps us on the road! We love our Palazzo. There are things I can and cannot do on my own. When we find a good technician and honest business, we do our best to let the folks know. If in this area and need help, give them a call... Unfortunately, they closed down years ago and we were left without a good backup until we found RVA. As RV people we often encounter dropping off a vehicle on Monday and are lucky at getting it back some time next spring and with a cost meter spinning like a gas pump and with little idea as what are issues. This has all changed and I count my lucky stars to have found this great family run business that makes it a pleasure to do business and get RV service which is more than reasonable, prompt and quality driven.

The owner Donnie was incredibly helpful when I had to stop in after getting my RV serviced here the…read moreday before. I got this sewer valve fixed, along with adding sensors to the water tanks. It was $611 but unfortunately it all needed done. The day I got it back, my step was not going in to get into the house part of the RV. I was able to swing back by the next day and apparently the little step magnet fell off. Donnie was quick to not only fix that, but also looked at a leak on the outdoor shower, and replaced a knob that was broken. All of this that no charge since I was in there the day before, getting the other repairs done. He even hooked up a diagnostic machine to see if I have a DEF fluid sensor. He went above and beyond to make sure that we were going to have a safe road trip that day. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain RV Repair! Five stars!

First off we called this place told them about the few repairs we needed done…read more The man said no problem and told us that January was the best time to bring our RV. we dropped it off in January after calling multiple times and being lied to each time we were told it is next in line or"work was being done" well 14 weeks later we went to check on it and not only did they not touch it when asked they had no reason why they had not worked on it!!! they had lied and not touched it!!! when we got it home we found that mice had taken over the unit!! I lost about $200.00 in linen and plastic dishes. plus we still need to get the repairs done!!! Horrible customer service! Horrible place DO NOT GO THERE!!!
