Beautiful views from the picnic area

Fresh seafood! Wow and so much of it too! Our friends invited us to join them for lunch and it was worth the 1.5 hr drive! YUM. It was so serene sitting outside. The menu is pretty straightforward - a lot of fresh seafood available - I chose the haddock sandwich - It was a FULL haddock filet that makes the full size bun look like a tiny dinner roll. LOL! Definitely a fork and knife sandwich! It was so fresh - no fishy taste at all. For a few that were with us, that weren't feeling like seafood that day, they had a decent cheeseburger and a massive cheesesteak sandwich. Both were satisfied with their meals as well. The view of the ocean from the outside picnic table area is so peaceful and beautiful. The way the wind was slightly blowing made it so quiet too. The eating area was packed, yet you couldn't hear others talking. It was amazing. There are two bathrooms outside - not port-a-potties but outhouses with plumbing. They were fine, but the person in front of me was gross. Not the restaurant's fault at all. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. If you have a larger group for a special occasion, call ahead, you might be able to reserve some tables. Not guaranteed, but worth a shot.

Killer seafood. It's where locals eat and they serve an 18" long lobster roll made with fresh local lobster from the Pemaquid area.

Great Lobster Roll. Not sure why it takes so long to get through the line to place your order. I think we were about 45 minutes in line behind maybe 6-7 other orders, Food came out fast enough once we ordered and it was excellent! The lobster roll was viewed by some as better than McLoon's or Red's. I would say it is very comparable to McLoon's but Red's is still the best. Seating and views are tremendous. Parking is easy enough. The staff is very friendly and since this is a BYO type of place it's pretty convenient to pack up a few items and set up a picnic. Bring refreshments and a friend to keep you company while in line and you won't mind the wait. If you're in this area you definitely will want to experience Pemaquid Seafood. We will be back often for sure!

Wow! We have been eating Maine seafood all our lives and I can truly say that these folks do it right! Nice light coating, perfectly cooked, very fresh, not greasy seafood! The Captain's Platter was perfect for 2. The coleslaw was good, the staff were excellent, even the free water was good! We will be taking rides down there again!

We visited this restauarnt again and soon learned the cupboards were bare of their desired fare. Why you might ask? Seems Auntie was not in the mood to make the clam chowder that morning and they were currently out of crab salad. In spite of departing in a huff and a puff we could not bring this lobster shack down.

This is the best seafood restaurant on the peninsula! I've been multiple times and have never been disappointed! All of the seafood is fresh and delicious! The cashier is always patient and kind when helping you place an order! Besides the amazing food and service you cannot beat the ocean views! Can't wait to go again next year! *Keep in mind- it's BYOB and a seasonal restaurant*

I devoured it! Beautiful way to start vacation!

Once again, Pemaquid Seafood does not disappoint! The chowder is the best we southern New Englanders have ever had. It's literally the standard by which we judge all others against. The staff is always so nice and quick witted, love it! Tradition to kick off our week vacation in the area is dinner here the first night, followed by purchasing lobsters for my birthday on the 4th. Every year we leave with love in our hearts for the family that owns Pemaquid Seafood, longing to return again next year!

Came here after a sailing ride for dinner. A big parking lot with indoor seating and outdoor patio seating. The outdoor seating overlooks the harbor. The restaurant is a little dive-ish and do not expect anything upscale, but the people and service are awesome. I ordered the lobster dinner that came with corn, a roll, coleslaw, and butter. The lobster was good, but nothing that totally amazed me. For the price, I think you could get a better dining experience elsewhere.

Came near the end of the season on a foggy day and walked right in. Had some good old fashioned, authentic waterside seafood. Best oysters I had this trip. Our crew of 4 enjoyed clam chowder and lobster bisque, a lobster roll, steamers, fried clam strips and more. Not fancy, hit the spot, as good or better than any place further south.

BYOB. Fried haddock dinner is large enough for 2 people. Ask them to skip the roll, totally unnecessary and store bought

Great atmosphere looking out over the bay along with the freshest lobster possible. Nothing fancy that's the point.

Amazing. BYOB. Great view. Can get crowded and hard to find a table. Sometimes parking is overloaded. But it's all well worth it.

The best place in coastal Maine for lobster with outside tables and great views. Took the grandkids this week and they loved it.

I was already in a foul mood, walking in here set me into straight sensory overload. It's a bar where they sing. I am unable to get inebriated enough to enjoy bars where they sing any longer. Call me miserable, maybe I suppose. In addition to the merry old fella belting it out on the mic, we had the joy of having some drunk guy in a large group behind us try and out sing him without a microphone. He even challenged the old guy singing to a form of a duel. Anyway I was so off, I cannot remember anything about my server at all. Nothing. I do remember almost screaming and running out. I sat there trying not to lose it while my wife had the time of her life. Every song made it worse, everyone else is singing, I am dying. When the guy took a break, guess what, dickhead from the crowd goes up and takes over. Shots helped at this point and the weed is kicking in well at this point. Now I'm hungry... My food was inedible and I'm pretty sure incomplete as well. The worst flatbread in the history of flatbreads. C's looked pretty good actually so I am sure her experience was quite different than mine. I hope to never return. '25 - extra
