Lobster rolls and onion rings - yum!

Had to come back for some more lobster rolls and to visit with the owners. A fabulous lunch on the waterfront.

    View from the dining area

Delicious lobster dinner. Family run, new owners this year. Very friendly staff. Meals are ordered at the counter, drinks from the bar crafted out of a beautifully restored lobster boat. The view overlooking the harbor was glorious at sunset. We arrived late into dinner service and missed out on oysters and steamers, both sold out. We'll go earlier next time!

Such a great treat and value

Didn't get a great reference, glad we made the decision and enjoyed every part! The service and food was top notch.

Lobster and eating by the water were great. The slaw and corn aren't worth putting on the plate.

Nice spot, but the food is overpriced for what it is. Go up the road to the CarTiago House

A sad echo of its former glory. My "1.5 lb lobster" was suspiciously small and frankly completely underwhelming for the $40 I dropped on it.

You have to watch carefully or map to the location, as the passing road is fast and you can drive by it without even realizing it. It's a small building with a decent sized parking lot - maybe can fit 10 or so cars. There is a picnic area to the side of the trailer, that has several picnic tables and a couple of little ones/lower to the ground. Very cute. Some tables with umbrellas for cover from the sun and in our case that day...brief relief from the rain, until it became sideways torrential rain. Plenty of garbage and recycling containers that are easy to locate and helps keep the place neat and free from debris flying around. It's not an extensive menu, however, the items we have ordered are fresh and flavorful. Item that stood out to us, the blueberry coleslaw. It's very very refreshing. They take electronic/card payments - it looks like it's a cash only type of place, but it's not. We had ordered our food for "here" and then the rain came. We sat at the tables as long as we could until the rain was coming down in sheets. We were soaked, so we ran to our cars...the staff saw what was happening, changed our order as "to go" and the gentleman ran the bagged orders to our cars with napkins and every thing we needed to enjoy our food. Great service! My fish basked was delicious. Love the fries that come with it as well. Plenty of fish, so much so, I had to give some to my husband to finish off. I love the finishing touches...may not seem like much to some, however, they take the time to put a tiny flower on each dinner. My niece and nephew loved it!! The bathrooms are in a separate building and are really nice. I thought they might be a potty, but they are fully plumbed, running water and electricity. I definitely will stop again, if it times right with our trips to the gardens and they are open. Great staff, easy location and great food.

The basket came with a side seaweed salad that was a refreshingly pleasant change of pace from most fish n chips places. The clam chowder was thick and rich. It was jam packed with meat and potatoes. Definitely come with an empty stomach because they have great portion sizes and the food is fantastic. Service: The service here is great! Everyone is friendly and happy to answer questions. They keep busy running food to customers and keeping the picnic area tidy. Ambience: The picnic area is super clean and well maintained. They have a wheelchair assessable picnic table, and a well stocked condiment table. The view is beautiful. This is a lovely place to get lunch and enjoy the weather.

I was already in a foul mood, walking in here set me into straight sensory overload. It's a bar where they sing. I am unable to get inebriated enough to enjoy bars where they sing any longer. Call me miserable, maybe I suppose. In addition to the merry old fella belting it out on the mic, we had the joy of having some drunk guy in a large group behind us try and out sing him without a microphone. He even challenged the old guy singing to a form of a duel. Anyway I was so off, I cannot remember anything about my server at all. Nothing. I do remember almost screaming and running out. I sat there trying not to lose it while my wife had the time of her life. Every song made it worse, everyone else is singing, I am dying. When the guy took a break, guess what, dickhead from the crowd goes up and takes over. Shots helped at this point and the weed is kicking in well at this point. Now I'm hungry... My food was inedible and I'm pretty sure incomplete as well. The worst flatbread in the history of flatbreads. C's looked pretty good actually so I am sure her experience was quite different than mine. I hope to never return. '25 - extra

First time I had the lobster roll with butter. Nicely crisped warm roll with a VERY generous portion of lobster topped with a large whole claw meat. Fresh and sweet - so delicious! I squeezed lemon into the hot butter, and poured it over the lobster. Husband had the crab roll - again very generous portion - and sooooo goooood! Wonderful flavor! Second time we visited, we both had the lobster roll with mayo. Again, a very generous portion topped with a large whole claw meat. What we especially liked was that it wasn't swimming in mayo, but just enough to lightly coat the meat so the true flavor shines through. A true Maine lobster roll and so reasonably priced! Staff is so friendly and you can tell they have a lot of pride in what they offer. It was like having a picnic with a nice view of the water and 1901 Footbridge.
