I used Pembroke pools service recommended by a friend for over 2 years when suddenly I received a letter letting know that "for unforeseen reason" they no longer service my account. As any normal person I called and asked why since I know the price of chemicals and other things have gone up I was hoping it was a cost issue and I was willing to pay more but even after asking they would not give and a reason. A couple of weeks prior I asked for a pool net and asked them to send me a quote which I never got and so I was willing to spent more money and give them more Bussiness but didn't hear back from them. It is very unprofessional to treat a customer that never complain even when they didn't get the service they pay for at times( not often). Honestly every week they come and literally skim the top. Never re hook up te vacuum literally left cups at bottom of pool two weeks in a row. Leaves stuff and bottom of pool ive had them come back because pool wasnt clean a few times. Charge me for services never performed. My pool was leaning and a friend of mine patched it. It continued to leak and my friend was not available to re-patch it. I called my service company and they sent a tech. The guy couldn't do the job because same company put too much chlorine that it was imposible to do anything. He said he was coming back. I work from home and I never saw him, never received a report. My friend confirmed the patch was still the one he did. Just paid $325 for a job not done. I did it to close this chapter. Additionally the new company, EM Pools, is so good, that I'm happy I found them. So, I consider the $325 a referral fee. read more

I decided to switch pool service after a year and 2 months. I did quite a bit of research and contacted Pembroke pool service. I got an immediate answer on the first call and spoke with a human not a robot. The gentleman was very professional and personable and explained all of the services in detail. He had a technician come out same day. The tech Eduardo was at the front gate of my complex within 11 minutes after the phone call ended. Talk about quick service! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better Eduardo took the time to look at, explain and show me every single facet of the pool, the pumps, and hardware. As it turns out, Eduardo caught an error with a chlorine being added to a skimmer -- and the skimmer valve was off -- resulting in the pool having no chlorine making it unsafe and unsanitary to swim! YIKES. So glad Eduardo came out and caught this terrible error of the previous company. Looking forward to doing business with a great and honest company. I bought my new home just over two years ago, and contracted PPS who'd serviced my friends pools rather nicely for years. The pool is an original 1995 build, and needs significant updating, which I cannot afford at the moment. Michael diagnosed and remedied a few leaks and other problems, predicting the patchwork to last at least a year. Well, so far it's been two years and his work has held solid. I hope to remodel my pool in 2024, and based on other remodels PPS has completed on some of my friends homes, there is no doubt I will use them. Good quality work, timely, profesional and most importantly honest. As a business owner myself, reading some reviews on these sights makes me nauseous. It's easy to tell which are frivolous, or show a pattern if there were thousands. However, a vocal few won't always paint a real picture. It only means that the the vast majority of their clients are likely satisfied and have better uses of their time than to post here. I hope this one helps. Two techs came by Lisa and Kevin and they explained everything they would do with the pool, Kevin advised I needed a new pool pump timer, (it was true, my timer was not going on and off automatically) and the timer and install was reasonably priced! Renovated my pool and I am in love! The gentlemen who came out to quote us had an entire vision for my backyard. Together we redesigned my original plans and have the best backyard for hosting parties. Everytime I called in during this process, the operations manager was always available and knowledgeable of my current project. Even after the project was complete, the owner came by to make sure his team had met all of our expectations. We ended up changing pool service providers and have been happy since. The price is great for the service and quality of work we receive. They mention to us if they notice any abnormality and give us advice on how to maintain the pool cleaner in between services. We've been using Pembroke Pool Service for years, for both regular cleaning service and repairs. They are reliable punctual and honest.

I called them because their name was on the pool equipment of the house I bought. I had a Jandy system and it was not working properly and I knew it was 17 years old and told them that when I called. They said they could repair it but the estimate would cost $110 even though I said I wanted a new one. The guy arrived, took one look at it, said it was old, I needed a new one, and went to walk out. $110 please. He didn't even open it or touch it. I wasn't going to be cheated. I said I told you it was 17 years old and your person on the phone insisted you could fix it and I am not paying $110 to tell me it is old. Only then did he decide to touch it and look at it and tell me he could repair the bezel and would get a price. The price to repair part of it was $2500 and leave the old relays. I called All Florida pool, free quote. $1300 I got a complete new system. I wouldn't trust this place or their prices. When I told them they should never have charged me, they demanded payment. So you know, I got 3 free quotes elsewhere. No one charged. read more

Save yourself the trouble...this company did not stand behind their services. They were already established as the pool company for a property I rented. Within a year I found the service lacking and the technician was unprofessional...smoking while cleaning the pool and leaving cigarette butts in my grass (I have small dogs!!) and sitting on my patio furniture to video chat on his phone. Terrible. Then I asked them to increase the service level and after one service I asked not to continue because I didn't see a difference in the service and to me wasn't worth the extra money. The office doesn't communicate with one another and creates so many issues that clients shouldn't have to deal with. The owner has since threatened me over that one $15 invoice and has followed through...I now have a collection agency attempting to collect $15!! For crappy service and being treated like crap! I am very happy with our new service. No issues and definitely much better customer service. At this point $15 is a bargain payment to rid myself of this situation. read more
