The first time I called, my call was answered by a kind lady named Valentina. She was extremely courteous and helpful. It took less than a minute for her to transfer me to the showroom. Once I was connected, a guy named Richard answered, and oh boy, he really knew his stuff! After speaking with him for a few minutes, I got so excited that I decided to visit the showroom and see what they were talking about. Wow! They have almost every type of sauna you can imagine. I purchased a two-person traditional sauna. I kind of regret not getting a bigger one, but I might get another one for my guest house because it is so worth it! The price was great, and they also offer financing, which I plan to use for a beautiful hot tub I saw in the back. That puppy was calling my name and winking at me! From the moment we went through the door to just a couple of days ago when we finally finished paying for our unit and scheduled our delivery date. Now, we did not put this unit on layaway. I don't know if they do that, but we did tell Alejandro, the owner, that we were having some projects done at the house before we could get the unit delivered and he graciously agreed to postpone the delivery and not charge us any storage fees until we got everything sorted out. He was extremely patient and understanding with us and went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this business enough. Their products are modern and top-notch. I can't wait to get my Jacuzzi delivered and installed in a couple of days. He went through everything clearly and in detail. I brought in an inoperative Dolphin Pool Vacuum and paid the $80 diagnostics fee. After a week, and…read morereceiving no word, I went in. I was told that they "THINK" the guy who looked at it, said it was working fine. I thought... YOU THINK? OR YOU KNOW? Which is it? Ok. Well, if they were aware of this, why didn't someone call me to let me know, so that I could come and pick it up? I guess the $80 fee was to have it diagnosed. Not to let me KNOW what the diagnosis was! I guess they were planning to keep that a secret! No one really "knew" anything! These people don't talk to each other, let alone communicate with the customer! I said that it only worked whenever I jiggled the cable, which, by the way, I specifically said when I first brought it in. So, it likely worked on the workbench because the cable happened to be in the correct position at the time. In a pool, the cable "moves" causing a "disconnect". Jiggling it re-establishes that connection momentarily. So, instead of taking it home, I left it there with specific instructions to check the "cable connection". 10 days later, I got a call saying that the motor was bad and it would cost $400 to fix and told me that I may as well buy a new pool vac. I came in to pick my broken pool vac up and the staff didn't know which one was mine. I had to personally go in the back to identify it, and it was sitting in a colossal PILE of broken pool vacuums with the cables all tangled like fishing line! They didn't even know whether the AC-DC Transformer attached to it was mine! I then had to "personally" UNTANGLE the mess of cables to extract my vacuum from the rest! No one helped me. One guy tried but the task proved too difficult for him. I swear! They appear to hire anyone with a PULSE! The icing on the cake was when I got home. Still convinced it was a "cable connection issue" I removed two screws. (TWO)! I then pulled back the top plastic shroud and "fed" some of the cable, into the cavity and wrapped electrical tape around that short part of the cable so that it would not extend outside the cavity. I then threw the machine into my pool and fired it up! EUREEKA! IT WORKS! So, I guess I don't have to buy a new $400 motor or a new $800 pool vac after all! UTTER INCOMPETENCE! Mind you. I am 71 years old. I only have a high school education. I am no genius. Yet, I was able to fix the stupid thing using simple LOGIC! Don't just walk away from this particular store (over near Gateway theater). RUN! Treat this store like it will give you the plague! I wish I could give it ZERO STARS!

Although they do periodically have coupons/discounts, it always comes at a time when I don't need anything and then I never get to use them. But that's not their fault. When Leslie's Pools was open near the Dick's sporting goods in north US1, I went there as they have a loyalty points system and you can rack up points to use for discounts. But Pinch A Penny does not have this same system and relies on coupon discounts that expire in a short time frame. I like their free water testing station which takes the guesswork out of your pool's water maintenance. And depending on the day or employee, you may get great service or you may get grumpy service. Try your luck! The store is a small shop but it has most of your pool needs and if they don't, they can order for you. Since the location is only a hop,skip, and a jump away from me, I will continue to utilize their free water testing service.
