Nice stop on the NY State thruway. Building is modern with a small kids play area outside, food court, restrooms and convenience store inside. Sunoco gas station highway side and EV charge stations in parking area. Restrooms are large; two rows of sinks and stalls with a diaper stations at entrance of both rows. Sinks have soap/water/dryer all in a row. Toilets are low to accommodate smaller humans and hooks are low on the stall door. Facility was clean and well stocked. A bottle filling station is near the restroom entrance as well as family restrooms. An AED is by the store side entrance. Showers are available through the store which sells a variety of drinks, snacks and souveniers. Plenty of seats in the food hall. Panera area has some comfortable seats near a gas fireplace (not operating in July). Dunkin', Popeye's and BK are the other food choices. Large parking area. A local farm had set up a small stand selling fresh produce and prepared items on the sidewalk out front. read more

Lots of options for food here and that's nice. The men's room was in serious need of attention with, well, liquid on the floor. Unpleasant to track that back to the car so I changed sneakers before getting back in. Other than that, Burger King, Dunkin', Panera, Popeye's and a convenience store in the big hallway. I got a coffee from Dunkin even though it's not street pricing. Hot and delicious, of course. The travel plaza does have a free wifi so an hour or so here to let the laptop charge up and even take a Teams call before heading onwards. I did not see any signs limiting how long you can park here but I've read elsewhere that the Troopers will ask you to move along after four hours. So keep that in mind if you're in a motorhome or RV. The overflowing trash cans out front should have provided sufficient warning to keep driving, but hunger and the urge to use the toilet overuled our better judgment. The only thing clean about the establishment was the bathroom. We ate at Burger King, and although the food tasted good, the meal was ridiculously overpriced. 2 whoppers and impossible burger, chicken fries, and a medium fry were $40 with tax. The floors were really dirty and the girl taking the order was talking to the guy making the burgers about non work related topics which would be fine, but everything she asked him a question, he stopped what he was doing to answer the question completely losing any ability to multitask. Talking and adding lettuce to a sandwich is apparently too taxing. On top of all this, there were rat traps by the bathrooms. Now, if you read my other reviews, you will find I am a fairly generous reviewer. I give a lot of leeway and try to be balanced in my commentary, but when a state spends all kinds of money updating a service center and it is not well taken care of, and you are spending goodness knows how much on tolls and food, you think they would have the decency to provide a nice experience. It is enough to make you want to pack a cooler of food. Next time, we will hold our wee until Massachusetts. read more

Restaurant has a staff that will not wait on you. I had to call to get service when the server came over. Her attitude was rude at the end of the meal. I left her a tip a note saying she shouldn't be in the service business. she then went into the kitchen and spoke loudly me so I could hear her talking about me to the other employees. I was writing this review using a ballpoint, on actual paper, but then my Penbroke. Lowering it to a 2 because the prices went up, the Tim Hortons charges more than any non-Thruway Tim Hortons, and the food quality here, which was never amazing, went downhill. The Gumbo and Jambalaya here at Popeye's actually used to be good, ask my girlfriend. I'm embarrassed to say I drove out here just to eat it a few times. The Gumbo and Jambalaya, I mean. It's a typical NYS Thruway rest area with the usual franchise spots such as Tim Hortons. Everything is a little more expensive than it should be, and there's nothing at all local to be found. Usually I'd give these places a 2, but as a travelling musician who is always on the look out for Wifi and places to sit and plug in, I appreciate that they're clean, 24 hours, have outlets, and have wifi. So for these reasons, I would give it more like a 4. Except for one thing... When you hang out here overnight and use the internet and such, and then continue your journey... and get off at an exit... they may start giving you the third degree for being on the thruway too long... your toll ticket expired... you're over the time limit... you have to pay full price ($20 or something). Are you kidding me? They're paranoid that they're being toll-swindled (which I wouldn't blame people for doing). So for this reason I'm keeping it as a 3. Tim Horton's donuts! Mmmmm......donuts. As far as a travel plaza goes it makes for a nice pit stop while traveling east across the state from Buffalo. Clean restrooms. Ok gas prices. The normal food offerings in the food court - an Italian joint, a burger place, and a Tim Horton's Donuts which seem to corner the market in these upstate travel plazas. Much better donuts than Dunkin' Donuts. Dropped the kids off at the pool, grabbed a few donuts and coffee, then headed out to the Finger Lakes for wine tasting! read more

Nice stop as far as rest stops go. They have a Sunoco for gas and a Tim Hortons, Villa Pizza and Checkers. Food options seem to be covered since you have Villa Pizza which also serves local ice cream, checkers which has burgers, fries, and sandwiches and then Tim Hortons which has everything else. Tim Hortons has coffee, donuts, bagels, as well as a variety of drinks (hot and cold) and sandwiches which are pretty good. I had an avocado BLT from there which I did enjoy and exceeded my expectations of a sandwich from a "donut/breakfast shop". Bathrooms are typical. Some vending options there and a general shop with travel stuff and stuff you you would expect to find in a deli/market. Few stands in the front including a sunglass stand and a stand selling fresh fruit and honey/honey products. Staff was friendly in my experience. read more

A good place to stop after traveling the New York Thruway east out of Buffalo. Always clean, they do a pretty good job of maintaining the facilities year-round. Fuel prices are comparable to those in the surrounding area. read more

It's a convenient travel plaza on I-90. Location is good and clean. Quick stop and then you can be back on the road. Gas station, Tim Hortons, a convenience store and bathrooms. Bathrooms were clean. There was a long line at Tim's with 2 counters open. There was a significant wait in the line though. Your patience will pay off. We tried coffee and a hot chocolate. Both were very good. read more

We stopped here on the way back from Canada. There is a information booth in this travel plaza to ask any travel questions you have of the area. Free books and maps, we grabbed some books and pamphlets. As far as restrooms go, it was clean. That's important! As far as food court choices go...there is an pizza place, Villa. There is a burger place, Checkers and there is coffee and donuts place, Tim Horton. It was crowded when we got there. I like the french crullers at Tim Horton. YUM. Overall, if you need a rest stop, this is a clean place when I got to this travel plaza. read more

Midway between Buffalo and Rochester, this is a great place to stop. The bathrooms are almost always clean - a feat during the busy summer days when the stop is packed. There is a current choice of Checkers and Tim Hortons. TH is open late, and if you don't want to pay the 2.50 for water in the vending machine (or don't have the singles needed), get a bottle from TH for $2 + tax. read more

This Travel Plaza, which is on the eastbound direction of I-90, is pretty typical for the older style of rest areas. It's a bit shabby, looking like it was last redone in the 1990s. There's a lot of parking and grassy areas. Be careful around the edges, though, because there are inevitably people that don't pick up after their dogs. The inside of the plaza has a Checkers, a Tims, and a little convenience store. There are quite a lot of stalls in the bathroom areas, one of my pet peeve here was the placement of the purse hook. It's situated in such a way (on the side of the stall, low) that my purse just flopped to the floor. There's also a Sunoco gas station here, and free wifi via the thruway authority. So if you gotta go, this is as good place as any to stop and rest your bones. read more

Pretty nice travel plaza. It seems like its newer. Bathrooms were clean and thats a great plus. They were clean for the amount of traffic it got that day. Very very good. They usually have the typical travel plaza food. Subs, Timmys, Pizza joint etc. I normally don't fill up here, but the gas prices I seen was really competitive. Also prices at the stores here were not grossly overpriced. Over all, I always stop at this travel plaza when going East and will do so always. read more

We had been heading home to Vermont from Ohio and we needed lunch. Looked promising but we misread that. (10 1/2 hour drive) This pull off station isn't the greatest. Over the weekend we had stopped at many of these. By far this was the worst one. It wasn't very clean. Bathrooms seemed ok but the food court was just awful. It was around lunch time and many of the tables where still dirty. (11:00am ish) They offer a checkers and a Tim Horton's. We picked Tim's. The staff was pretty rude here. They didn't seem interested in serving us. Not sure why. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. Gas prices are what they are. We needed gas so we filled up! Staff at the station here where pretty friendly. So if all you need is gas and a bathroom then you might be good to go. Otherwise wait out the next 48 miles and keep on driving! Other service stations where much cleaner and offered more dedicated staff for its customers. read more

Heading from Toronto to NYC, this is one of the last gas station on I90 before getting off the thruway onto i380. Fuel is competitively priced and bathrooms are clean. The food are not overpriced. Fill up before leaving NY. read more

A seemingly safe, hospitable place to take a rest. An alright collection of restaurants - Tim Hortons can solve most basic needs - and the bathrooms are good. I feel like these are the most important things of a rest stop. It was clean on the whole and was inviting, so a nice relaxing stop on your way too. read more
