This is a great low cost clinic to neuter/spay your pets with affordable vaccination prices…read more They do not have a phone number so you will have to submit requests through their website. They take quite some time to respond, sometimes days. If it's an emergency, I advise to go to Academy Hospital or Coastal Vet Clinic. You will receive a text where you can contact them. Make sure to bring a proof of rabies certification on your first visit otherwise, they will make your dog get another shot at their clinic for $15.

This shelter is ATROCIOUS the 3 and 1/2 month old puppy my spouse and I adopted a week ago now…read moreneeds an expensive surgery so he can use his leg and be a normal puppy. This is due to this shelter's neglect. A puppy with a fractured/ broken leg isn't cared for properly and isn't noticed? I don't believe that the shelter did not inform us before adoption we found out from a vet after he started whining and not using his leg and we got x rays. The vet told us how his leg was very improperly healed from a 3-4 week old fracture/ break that was never treated. That time frame is when the shelter had him and they did nothing. They had no knowledge I'm not sure how they didn't when they neutered him and did that surgery. Just by feeling his leg you could feel the difference this poor puppy now needs an invasive surgery and they are doing nothing and won't help. All they said was they would take him and give us back the adoption fee. That is horrendous. Why would we give him back when their neglect caused this. They had no remorse and offered no financial help or emotional care. Do not trust those people.

I…read moregot my first dog from there five years ago and no issues so I thought great things of them. Last week I got a puppy from there and took him home next day he started rapidly declining in health. Then I get a call from them the next day, saying his littermate tested positive for Parvo. There solution to my puppy possibly having Parvo was "u can bring him back and we can put him down and just give you another puppy". This was their solution before, even knowing if the puppy I had tested positive. Not only when they get puppies in as strays or owner surrender, they don't test them for parvo unless they are symptomatic. So bringing them in a shelter around all these other puppies and dogs. It's absolutely not okay and disgusting. On a positive note mine did test negative for Parvo but does have pneumonia (he's on meds now and will be okay). But when I was there meeting all the puppies, they were all running around in the same exact playpen outside so any puppy that was out there with his littermate could definitely have Parvo. Even when I took him to the vet this morning the vet even said that shelter is not a good shelter to get your animals. just wanted to give everybody a warning!

Sherry, one of the volunteers and foster parents is incredible. We adopted a 3 year old pit mix named Preston from MADR last year. Preston was living with a foster family who took great care of him and brought him to adoption events. We saw Preston on Petfinder and fell in love. We called the rescue and talked with his foster mom, Sherry. We could immediately tell how much she cared for her fosters. She gave background on Preston and interviewed us to make sure he would be a good fit. He is high energy and was not trained so he needed an active family of experienced dog owners. We knew he would be perfect as long as he got along with our other dog. We met the rescue in Fayetteville at an adoption event. Sherry was experienced with introducing new dogs. Preston and my other dog, Zeus, thankfully hit it off. Preston immediately took to Zeus and Zeus quickly accepted him as his new younger brother. The rescue offers a trial period before paying the adoption fee. We were very confident Preston would be a perfect fit so we went ahead and paid the fee the same day. The rescue gave us his vet papers, heart worm meds, rabies tag, harness, and leash. Preston was already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. We love him so much and take him everywhere we can. He loves swimming in the pool, shopping with me, hiking, running, and playing at the dog park. He now knows how to fetch! He is incredibly sweet and certainly high energy. We are very appreciative for Sherry and Making a Difference Rescue. Overall, excellent experience adopting from this rescue and we certainly recommend this rescue to others!
