I've been coming here since they opened and even buy a lot of their products online, their clothing is quality and the sizing is true to fit so that I can trust purchasing shirts online from them, which is such a nice consistent perk that's hard to find nowadays. I love the entire vibe of this store. It's rock n roll, adventure, and nature focused. They have plenty of gear for your needed camping accessories, clothing and ride ware. If outdoors shenanigans isn't your speed, don't worry, they have plenty of ready to wear cute clothing and such for those who want to look badass but aren't necessarily riding off into the sunset on their bike. They have a perfect balance for both kinds of customers. I love that their inventory and styles change regularly but that they also know what sells and keep purchasing items that are similar but updated for the season. For example I can always count on them getting cool new logo / graphic shirts, candles, and jackets but new styles to keep it fresh. The staff have all always been nice here and helpful. It's always felt like a very welcoming vibe here and I've never had an issues. Honestly their customer service is what keeps me coming back. The store is always well stocked and clean, a great place to shop. I've found so many goodies here over the years. I have many of their graphic shirts, candles, room sprays, home goods and even purchased one of my favorite small little blades from them. If you haven't been to iron and resin yet in downtown Ventura you must definitely go!

During my most recent getaway trip to Ventura, I made two visits.....the first visit, I found a woven straw fedora-trilby, the Circa 1921, to top off an olive-green Hawaiian shirt I purchased from a different store just a short time earlier. The second visit, I got a pecan-brown Scala Outback Hat. Both Amberlee and Jenny were such a great help; they are real assets to your store. Thank you, Amberlee, Jenny and the Wharf!!! When I entered, the young lady at the registered welcomed me. I couldn't find the bag I was looking for because I didn't know what the bag looked like since it's a different brand than I am used to. I asked a young man that was loading shelves and he called for someone to come help me. Another gentleman came and helped me within a minute. They did have quite a large Oxbow small animal pet products more than I have seen at Tractor Supply. So, even though I probably won't be back for these pellet bedding bags when TSS opens; I would come back for all the rabbit chew toys and supplies they have. I was checked out quickly and on my way.

The clothes they sell is hand crafted, unique, one of a kind, mostly made in various parts of Mexico. I love the style, textiles, colors, overall vibe, chic-casual and originality. Prices are a tad on the higher side, but it's worth to get an original piece here, you'll stand out in the good way! I also love their home decor and jewelry, it does remind me of merchandise I saw or bought in Mexico, great variety, quality, nice mirrors with pretty frames and pottery pieces that would pop in a room. Lobos Del Mar is a world into itself!

I am so happy that I agreed as this place was a journey back into all of my personal travels to Mexico. I immediately knew how special this shop was as I talked to Nicole, and she shared with me the heart of the owners to share the 'artesania' of the indigenous artists of Mexico and South America. I was very impressed with the representation of the different styles of craft from various regions in Mexico! This is one of the best curated collections of the craft from my home country that I have ever seen. It also warmed my heart to see pictures of the artists throughout the shop and to know that the owners consider them friends and have a love to share their gifts with the world. Also, normally, this work is very inflated in our country, making it somewhat inaccessible for people to buy with the crazy markups. I appreciated that they not only had wonderfully curated quality pieces, but the prices were reasonable for the style of work. Knowing that the local artists are being supported to continue to thrive in these crafts makes me want to support this business even more! I love the connection and knowledge that they share. This was evident in my conversation with Nicole. She was so kind and passionate about her care of the shop. It was like walking into a shop, but also have the expertise of an art curator sharing knowledge. Such a wonderful place!!! You will absolutely find a new treasure here!!!

I'm so glad I did! The shop is small, and honestly, I was half-expecting to be ignored or treated poorly since I wasn't with my wife at the time. But I couldn't have been more wrong. The lady helping me was super friendly, made a few great recommendations, and I ended up leaving with two high-quality shirts at a reasonable price. Next time I'm at Fluid State, I'll definitely stop by again to grab another shirt, and maybe a dress for my wife too. I'm so glad these mom-and-pop shops are still around!

I'd never actually stopped in Ventura before and much to my delight, we ran into ALOHA ON MAIN just a few steps away. What a great store, perfect for any of us tiki crazed peeps. I honestly thought to myself this had to have been a joke or something, what, with not getting in to Ventiki and then steps away, there's a killer tiki store. I haven't won the lotto yet, but look at this dumb luck right here! The friendly gentleman running the store was nice, well informed and very patient with my Autistic son. He also mentioned that my "Book of Tiki" that I've had for 24 years has become quite the collector's item. Who knew?? Prices seemed to be very fair to this reborn tiki collector and I picked up these two awesome decanters and the Poached Poet mug, all from Tiki Farm. I'd had my eyes on the Elvira and Poet for some time. The Sven Kirsten decanter was just too cool to pass up and was priced fair. Lots of great art, mugs and clothes. Check 'em out: https://www.instagram.com/aloha_on_main/ Ventiki, by the way, looked like an awesome spot too. I took a quick look around and liked the small, cozy bar, ambiance and outdoor "lanai" with plentiful seating. I recommend a stop at both on your next California road trip!

This is one of those rare shops where women at any stage of life can find high quality pieces that feel comfortable, effortless, and truly wearable for everyday life. Most items fall in the $30-$75 range, which makes supporting local feel accessible and realistic. I have made a commitment over the past few years to support local businesses instead of big corporations, and I am genuinely grateful we have a shop like this in Ventura, especially as so many retail spaces are disappearing. The vibe is cozy, cottagecore meets laid back beach town energy, perfectly fitting for downtown Ventura. Warm, inviting, and thoughtfully curated without trying too hard. The kind of place where everything works together, which is honestly a little dangerous. Ashley and Melanie are absolute gems. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping you find something that feels like you. Never pushy, never salesy. You can tell they care about the shop and the experience, and it shows. They also carry a small mini-me collection, Sin Min products that smell amazing and feel great, plus jewelry, accessories, and small home decor and stationery pieces that make perfect gifts. The horchata lip balm alone is worth stopping in for. Whether you're shopping in person on Main Street or online, Tiki Girl is a solid go-to when you want something cute, comfortable, and very Ventura. Always support local. Your closet will thank you.
