Celebrating a birthday and it was a wonderful place for such. The place was a nicely clean space and both the service and the food was delicious. Our server Michael was very attentive and had a wonderful presence. Definitely a must try.

Dinner on a Friday night. Reservations made it easy. Hostess and service was impeccable. Atmosphere is ten stars. Amazing. Bar area looked amazing!!! Food-- sadly average. We ordered chicken Parmesan and my husband said it was good quality, but no pasta. Please. Pasta is super cheap with a tomato sauce to place under the chicken. This needs a remake. My butternut pasta was good not great. I had the same in Charleston at Indaco which was amazing. Sadly this was not. No bread service. Wine was average. And please you can get good cheap wine. Cocktail was very good. We all agreed we don't need to go back.

I was very excited about this after seeing all the great reviews and social media posts about it but it fell short of my expectations. The service was slow, we did order everything all at once pretty shortly after we got the server. However, we waited almost 90 minutes for our food! We ordered it at about 6:45 after being sat at 6:25. And we got the food at 8pm!!!!! We were so hungry we were literally full by 8:15. This was terrible. We had to ask someone to get our server and ask where our food was because during the whole wait the server never came back once! I suspect they gave our food to the wrong table because the tables next to us who came later were served long before we were and was already out the door by the time we even got any food. This was crazy! It was a Tuesday night and not very busy. We had to ask our server and she said it's coming the kitchen was hectic and busy. NO IT WAS NOT! All the tables around us had no issues getting their food. We got the carbonara pasta, diavolo pizza and some fries. Nothing that was worth waiting 90 minutes for. And when we got the fries they weren't even hot. I truly wish I had a better experience because I wanted to enjoy the place and the ambiance was nice.

I had been wanting to try this place for quite some time, so when my sister's birthday was coming up, I knew this place would be perfect for the occasion. I made a reservation in advance, because it was a Friday night, and good thing I did, because it was PACKED when I got there. I arrived with a cake, and they happily took it and stored in their fridge in the back. There were 5 of us for dinner. We got a bottle of red to share and I also got a Peroni. The server wasn't too knowledgeable about the wines, but we collectively made a decision on the bottle to get. We all shared the cheesy garlic bread and broccolini to start. The bread was soooo good. It pulled apart so nicely and was hot and fresh. The broccolini was good too, seasoned perfectly! We all loved the two dishes. For our mains, we all got our own dish. I got the Paccheri Alla Zozzona. I'm a sucker for a pasta and sausage dish, so I had to get this. It was really good. Cooked nice and the pasta around the meat had a very nice bite. The others got the Buratta Pizza, Chicken Scallopini Parmigiano, Ricotta Ravioli, and Halibut Picatta. I had a bite of everything, and honestly, everything was INCREDIBLE. All the dishes were so flavorful and hot! Each dish was captured so well with taste and design. None of us had leftovers to take home at all. We ate everything. The ambiance inside was pretty nice. It felt kinda like a rustic meets traditional theme. The service was a little slow, which is why this isn't getting a full 5 stars. It took quite some time for our server to get our ordered and he didn't really check on us too often. But other than that, everything was great! My sister had an excellent birthday and we all really enjoyed ourselves. I'll be back in the future for sure.

Had a lovely experience and meal here! Environment is inviting, service was on point, and food was very tasty! Some highlights were the calamari, the garlic bread, the focaccia, and the shrimp scampi. Espresso martini was fine, nothing to write home about, but not bad by any means. Delightful meal overall and I will likely be back in hopes the next one is just as good.

This place is absolutely beautiful! The low lighting and just the complete atmosphere of this place is amazing! Our server was amazing! The food was very good! The garlic bread is incredible if you are looking for a good basic appetizer! The garlic tastes so fresh! I do have to say the website menu is completely different from the one in person so don't be set on something online to order because they don't have it in person. But everything was still great! I recommend for a good date night or girls night!

After trying one of the top Italian restaurants in Atlanta, my husband, and I decided to give Pendolino a try. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The bar is absolutely stunning. The drinks were good. We also ordered a Caesar salad that was delicious! However, when it came to the main entrées, they were kind of lacking. We ordered a pizza And a pasta dish thinking the dishes would be big enough to share. The pizza that cost $20 is a personal size pizza and the pasta dish was small as well. The pizza was pretty good! The pasta dish, was just ok! Service was absolutely outstanding.

Good experience at Pendolino. We went for a drink and a snack with some friends. The service and ambience was great! My first drink was a Negroni, I liked it however I wish it was over one big ice cube rather multiple and it was a little sweet for my likings. We all split a bottle of Sangiovese after our first round of drinks. My fiancé and I split a fennel sausage pizza for our snack and that was the highlight of our visit! The crust was perfectly cooked, just the right about of sauce, and the sausage was divine! We definitely plan on going back for a true dinner.

Came for dinner with friends on a Friday evening. It was busy! We had a reservation, fortunately, and were seated quickly. The menu is not huge but everything on it looked great. There were appetizers, salads and small plates, pizzas, and regular Italian dishes. The back side listed cocktails and other drinks, plus there was a separate wine list. I ordered the Sicilian lemonade. It was pleasantly lemony and served in a tall glass with a paper straw. Two friends ordered the garlic bread and the focaccia so I was able to taste both. The focaccia was served with a delicious cheese spread and was fantastic. The garlic bread was also very good and had bits of fresh garlic on it. I ordered the burrata pizza and it was small, maybe only 8 inches in diameter, cut into fourths. That was actually a good size for a personal pizza. The crust was chewy and nice. The toppings fresh and even, although the cheese was in four or so lumps and tended to fall off when I picked up the slice. For dessert I had the pistachio gelato which was creamy and cold. My companions enjoyed the shrimp scampi, tiramisu, and espresso martini. Service was great. My one complaint is that the restaurant was very loud and I had difficulty hearing the server, not to mention my friends. We were attended to regularly and the food was delivered in a reasonable time. There is plenty of parking in the shared lot although it was pretty full I had no problem finding a place. Next time I'd like to sit outside on the patio in nice weather.

Overall, had a great dining experience here. Parking is plentiful and we were even able to be seated a few minutes before the reservation. I went with my cousin so we had a party of two. The menu was a little bit different from what we saw online, but our server helped us pick some really great options. Cocktails and wine were fantastic as well. I would definitely come back, the vibes are great and services top-tier. Thanks, Michael!

TLDR; My wife and I visited Pendolino for a date night one Friday evening. We made reservations for two on OpenTable and enjoyed our dinner on the patio. The food was impeccable, and the service was great. Our favorites were the Buratta pizza, crispy calamari, Bistecca Sirloin, and Shrimp Alla Vodka. Pendolino is located in Sandy Springs, just outside the North Buckhead/Chastain Park area. Since the restaurant recently opened in our neighborhood, we were excited to give it a try. After all, who can resist a new Italian spot? I had requested a booth, but the restaurant was quite busy, and they couldn't accommodate the request. After speaking with the host, we opted to sit outside--a decision we didn't regret! Admittedly, the night got off to a bumpy start. We waited over 15 minutes, watching tables seated after us get served, before we decided to leave. However, the restaurant manager, Samantha, called us as we were leaving and asked us to return, assuring us they would make it right. So, we gave it another shot. I'm glad we did. The food exceeded my expectations, which admittedly weren't high after the initial hiccup. But this review reflects the second chance we gave them, rough start aside. We began with the crispy calamari and Buratta pizzette. The calamari was fresh and perfectly crispy, served over a lemon aioli with marinara on the side. The Buratta pizza was everything you'd want from a wood-fired pizza--crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside. The dough was perfect, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was spot on. I'd order both dishes again without hesitation. The Buratta is a type of cheese that reminds me of a ricotta, with its firm outer shell and a soft, creamy interior. For a cocktail, I had the Sonny Boy--a tequila lover's dream! It was like the perfect margarita: refreshing, balanced with citrus and sweetness, and strong enough to satisfy. If you love tequila, don't skip this one! For our mains, my wife had the Shrimp Alla Vodka, and I opted for the Bistecca Sirloin. Naturally, I couldn't resist a bite of her dish! The paccheri pasta in the Shrimp Alla Vodka was al dente, with a subtle spicy kick that balanced out the creamy, rich sauce. My sirloin was cooked medium and came pre-cut. It was tender and juicy, topped with a beautiful Gorgonzola butter to complement it. It came with some potato fingerlings and that would give a steak frites a run for its money. Overall, I highly recommend Pendolino. It's a lovely new addition to the Chastain Park area, and we're lucky to have it nearby. Be sure to order the pizzette, calamari, and Sonny Boy--you won't be disappointed!

Because it doesn't exist however, the security staff that was working there was super nice and it was an older gentleman who told me I in fact, could park directly outside the front door of the restaurant despite it saying no parking because that sign was simply up for the purposes of construction period So I took him for his word and I definitely parked right in front of the restaurant and luckily did not get towed or any tickets because he was right Now onto the food. Everything is freshly made on site from all the pastas to the desserts. And I have to say this was absolutely incredible. I have never had this type of artisanal approach to Italian food outside of Italy. This is the stop. Unfortunately, it was on a Friday where I was observing no meat so I did not order any dishes with meat, however, none of the dishes, disappointed in any way shape or form. We even ordered dessert and that just blew my mind because I do not like tiramisu, but this thing was delectable. And if I had room, I would've ordered another one. Our waitress Natividad was fantastic!! she was so kind and patient and very helpful with the menu. In fact, the kitchen had made a wrong dish out of all the dishes and sent it to us, but she intercepted realizing that it was wrong. I sent it back to the kitchen had them starting on the right dish, leaving only one person in our party waiting just a few more minutes for his plate to come out. The portions are very fair however they are not super generous. So if you are sharing and you really love what you're eating be careful because the person you share it with will probably love it just as much as you do and will eat more than you really want them to. I have to come back here when I come back to Atlanta. This is everything it lives up to be from all the previous reviews I have seen online and then some.

My boyfriend was running late, but he put in a special request that was fulfilled beautifully. He called ahead to say he'd be late and asked if they could start making a particular drink for me. When I arrived, they recognized me and confirmed that I wanted the drink he had requested on my behalf. I was amazed by their thoughtful service and couldn't believe they went out of their way like that. This experience was so wonderful that this spot has definitely become our go-to for Italian food in the city. The food here always impresses me. Although I've never been to Italy and can't compare it to authentic Italian cuisine, this restaurant feels comforting--almost like home. The pasta is freshly made in-house and cooked to perfection; every dish I've tried has been delicious and satisfying without being overwhelming. Despite the many popular Italian spots nearby, this place stands out for its amazing flavors and welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere. It's also an ideal spot for date nights, family gatherings, or girls' nights out. Additionally, they offer products for sale near the entrance, making it even more appealing. Also, we challenged our bartender to create a drink. We listed off favors, amoras, and alcohols we'd prefer. We listed off a few of our favorites, and the bartender absolutely dominated. The drink doesn't have a name, but my boyfriend requests it EVERYWHERE he goes and can't get it made properly anywhere else but at this location.

So I feel like there's no time like the present to try something new. If you come to the shop it's very small, they do have indoor and outdoor seating but only by a few. They have a larger countertop so there is space there but again, this is not a place that you take 20 of your friends to. But it's a nice strip mall area so at least if nothing else there's free parking. Again on the inside it is rather small. But it's still cozy enough. I sat on right away, the table wasn't clean but They got me together. The art on the wall and the decorations are pretty dope there. They have a giant slice which is how it got on my radar. I didn't buy that this time, but I feel like I would just be me being unnecessarily obese if I eat that entire giant slice. But I'm willing to take up the challenge lol. I ended up getting some french fries and a couple of pizza slices. Pepperoni, of course, because that's a staple. I got a pepperoni and bacon, And I got a spinach meatball one as well. The pizza was good. The sauce wasn't as impactful or flavorful as I would have liked it to be, but the toppings were pretty solid. The slices were of a really good size. You don't need more than two probably. I will come back if I want it some slices to go. Even though a lot of people came in and order whole pies.
