As a lover of Seven Lamps. Visually it didnt change at all. I think this cute little pizza restaurant is going to be something great when they figure out their identity. My girlfriend came for pizza. I believe she had a Margarita pizza maybe "beam me up Scotty" I'm not sure. I came for what I remembered to be seven lamps's old burger. Or at least something similar. My burger came with a Caesar salad which I love. I also enjoyed an old-fashioned. Our server was lovely and informative. However, my old-fashioned was yummy, but on the sweeter side. Next time, and I think there will be a next time, I will ask if they can make it less sweet. Also, the cherry was completely wrong. At least it wasn't good. I take my cherries very seriously in my old-fashioned. My burger was good and the Caesar salad was delicious. However, it just didn't hit the way that I had hoped. The restaurant was also out of Tabasco. They gave me a buffalo sauce which in my opinion was gross. I hope this restaurant finds its bold audacious way of telling the neighborhood who they are and what they offer. I feel like they're trying to figure out what the neighborhood wants. The burger is essentially a smash-style setup with onions, bacon, two patties, and cheese. I was genuinely impressed. I didn't put it down once I started. After that, we shared an 8-inch Margherita pizza, which was the perfect size to split without feeling overstuffed. I washed it all down with their house-made lemonade, which was so good a refill felt mandatory. The service was friendly and quick. Overall, the food left me wanting more--for the sauteed shrimp, more shrimp. For the chickpea curry, more sauce and another texture. For the carbonara, more spice. For the mussels, more bread that isn't already soggy. Our server was also the bartender so didn't get checked on as frequently as we would've liked. Came for dinner with colleagues. The place was almost empty at 5:30 pm on Sunday evening, surprisingly. There is nice patio seating but we were indoors between the open kitchen and the bar. The menu has a library theme and seems to change monthly. I wanted to eat almost every item, they all sounded delicious. I decided on the fettuccine carbonara, and our table shared an order of Brussels sprouts. My pasta was terrific. The tomato cream sauce was unusual and there was savory bacon and egg in there. I thought the sprouts were great, the sauce was sweet. For dessert I had the brownie. It was topped with a dab of peanut butter mousse and had a couple of whole peanuts scattered around. The brownie was rich and chocolatey with a crisp top crust and gooey interior. I would have liked more of the peanut butter mousse though. I also tried my colleague's bread pudding, very good also. The back of the menu had lots of drink choices but we were "working" so I didn't try any on this visit. A non-alcoholic cocktail or two would be appreciated. Service was attentive and accurate. Our server was on top of bringing drink refills and checking that we were content. There is a big free parking area which can be a problem for other businesses in this area, and I was grateful but also the Lenox MARTA station is not far away. Went on a team dinner with Work folks, sat outside in the beautiful weather. Our service was lovely. We are attended to well I had a cucumber martini that was very delicious. My server also recommended the Bronzino piccata, which was absolutely delicious. It came with a fingerling potatoes and broccolini. Everything was perfectly cooked and I ate every bite. My coworkers also enjoyed their meals. For appetizer we got hush puppies some delicious saucy shrimp and the tuna with crispy rice. We devoured that as well for dessert we got the chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. Those are very decadent, although the chocolate cake was a little bit dry. Everything he recommended was spot-on delicious! The service was quick, the wait wasn't long at all, and the drinks were strong and perfectly mixed -- exactly what you want on a night out. We're visiting from LA, and honestly, this place met (and even exceeded) our high LA restaurant expectations. We had a private event at Corbus this weekend and had the most incredible time. Working directly with Kelly was so easy, she was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. The bad weather left us with a change of plans last minute from being fully outdoor to fully indoor and she went above and beyond for us. She closed off the dining room to other patrons for the couple of hours during our event, greeted everyone, was handing out pizza, etc. All of the staff working (thank you so much April, Liz, and Eliza!) were so fantastic. I haven't even gotten to the food and drinks yet. It was phenomenal. Absolutely incredible. My mouths watering just typing this. We chose 4 pizzas for our event and would order every single one again. Everyone who came to the event couldn't stop talking about how good it was, how nice the inside was, and how much fun they had. And the pre-made bar menu (we didn't know this would be a thing!) was laid out so cute for everyone to choose off of and they were BEYOND delicious. A nice interior design that gives a feeling of solidity. The finish in the floors and tables are rubbing off, but it's not a con, because it does give one the feeling that the tables are cleaned often. Server was very pleasant and attentive. Greeted with a smile from all the passing employees except the manager who seemed very intense. Not a problem, just an observation. The greens were quite fresh and the dressing in the side salad was just right - not too heavy, but enough to make one feel they are eating a salad and not a garden. The list of ingredients in the sandwich would lead one to believe that it's overcomplicated and therefore would ruin the flavor. But the truth is the fried cod fish sandwich was very well balanced and flavorful. The only con is that the fish was cooked a little too much making it a little hard and a little dry on the edges. But the overall combination was still good enough to overcome this to give 3-4 stars. The French fries were seasoned with some cheese and seasonings. It wasn't overly salty, but unfortunately it also wasn't super flavorful. One could pass on the fries and not be sad but are good enough to order and not be disappointed. If it weren't for the freshness and crispness of the vegetables this would've probably been a three star review, but since many of the ingredients were fresh and tasty (including the sandwich) it gets a four star. Definitely ok to tryout, just don't have expectations set too high and you won't be disappointed. read more

Seven Lamps is neatly tucked away next to Lenox Mall. For those who know where Soul Cycle and FlowerChild are, it's in that same shopping center. Parking was pretty easy for us, but that was definitely due to the time we arrvied, which was about 2:30 before the dinner crowd. The space was intimate, and a little smaller than most restaurants. We dined in for brunch, I started off with the "Pushin P" for my drink, which had Don Julio Tequila/ Peach/ Strawberry Puree, it was good! I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which was just okay. I wasn't super impressed with the brunch, and neither were my friends, but I think I'd like to return for dinner to give it one more try because I have heard good things about this place. One last thing I'd like to point out was our server Ava, she was phenomenal. Probably the best part of the dining experience. She had the patience of a saint. We were a large party, and she was very kind and very accommodating. She did such a great job at managing our party, especially considering she didn't have any help. I couldn't help but notice her counterparts were chit-chatting at the bar, which isn't the biggest deal, it just wasn't the best look for a restaurant, especially when they could lend a hand to their teammates who was managing such a large party. Years ago I had dined at Seven Lamps so I was anxious to see how it was today. I like the "lamp" decor, but the restaurant is relatively dark. Service was friendly and relatively quick. I ordered the lamb shank which came with mashed potatoes. It was a hearty meal. The server suggested a red wine which was ok although it probably needed to breathe and was served a room temperature. My Old Fashion cocktail tasted like an Old Fashion should. The meal was not cheap running close to $100 with a tip for one. Came here tonight with a friend and it was a great find! Easy parking , cute ambiance , outdoor seating , great service and food was delicious !! We split the crab/jalapeño beignets (the sauce is excellent!), grilled shrimp with sweet potato biscuit, my friend got the arugula salad and I had the avocado quinoa salad with grilled shrimp. Everything was delicious and well-made. The shrimp on the salad were absolutely delicious. You could taste that they had grilled them to profession without over cooking them. I came here for an early dinner and so there was plenty of seating but I can see this restaurant filling up, it's more on the smaller end. I did find that the menu is smaller, not a lot of veggies but I did see a couple of vegan options which is nice. Looks like this restaurant has southern flare and that they often switch up their menu. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered their mussels. Just ate for the first time at Seven Lamps, decent experience but they made a mistake on our order and then charged us for the incorrect item, which is egregious to me. My husband ordered the ribeye and asked for the crab on top which was specifically listed and featured as an option on the menu - obviously surf and turf is very popular. Instead our waitress, who had mentioned it was only her third day, brought out the ribeye with a crab cake sitting on the side of the plate. We immediately told her we had wanted the lump crab on top like is listed on the menu, not the crab cake. The waitress apologized and said she got confused, was very nice about it and said she'd bring out the correct crab. We waited to eat and it took less than 10mins to bring the crab. Not a big deal but a little strange given that the crab on top was featured on the menu, the crab cake was listed as an appetizer and they brought it out on the side of the dish. And if she was confused she could have clarified. When they brought out the bill rather than offering a discount for the experience, we were charged $9 for the crab cake! Granted the crab cake on the app menu is $18 so they charged us half price, but the customer shouldn't be charged when the server makes a mistake. She admitted she was confused because she's new. Food was pretty good and would have been a 4, but we took a star off for poor customer service. read more

Great service! I went here for a business dinner and I got the salmon which was cooked perfectly and atop of a bunch of flavorful veggies. We also got the cheese board which had a best pimento cheese I've ever had with a bacon and onion jam on top of it which you spread on warm bread. I hope I have time to go back during my stay! I met a friend for Sunday brunch and ordered the "Breakfast Panini" and a cocktail. When the server brought the food, I was surprised to receive the "Breakfast Plate" instead. So, I politely reminded him that I ordered the panini. Coincidentally the Breakfast Plate and Panini have similar ingredients. The server took my plate, and a couple minutes later walked back out with the same plate but had the eggs slapped on some toast. I am usually more lenient when I eat out, but we received completely inattentive service. Our server didn't introduce herself, forgot to bring us waters, another server had to bring water, and then 10 mins after taking our drink order she brought our drinks. From then it took another 5 mins just to take a food order, all the while she's talking to other tables and taking their orders and bringing their food/drinks. we got our food after a long wait, and the food was good at the restaurant no complaints! we got no check-ins from our server during our meal, but did have to flag her down for an additional to go order. other than that, we didn't get approached at all until she asked us how we wanted our check. We gave her our check preference (split) and asked for an additional to-go box, and again she left and we sat there waiting. During this time she went and talked to another table, just standing and talking, for genuinely 10 minutes. At this point the sun had set, and we had been sitting for an hour and 20 mins when we could've been wrapped up much earlier. We had to go inside and ask another server to ask her about our check, other food order, and to-go box, and she came to the table again and completely forgot what we needed and how we wanted the check. We told her one check was fine in the interest of time and reminded her about the to-go box. We finally got our check and additional order, I put my card in and she took another 5 mins to take it. I understand that you can be busy, but there were only 3 tables including ours that she was attending to, the night was winding down, and our table was in direct line of sight of the door she came out of half the time. We got no checkups, no ask if we wanted dessert, etc. Then when we got back with our to-go order it looked and tasted much different than the pizzas we got at the place. I don't know how we were overlooked that bad, but a dinner that could've been a nice hour turned into almost two hours. We sat down in full brightness and left at NIGHT. it was from like 7:20-9pm. For a table of 2, no apps, one entree a piece, and one to go order?? almost 2 hours??? I did really enjoy my meal but sitting and waiting 30 mins for an entree, being ignored during the meal, and having to get up multiple times just to be attended to is not the point of a sit down meal. Sorry for the yap but I like to eat out and tip good! but not for poor service. it was pretty disappointing for how good the food was at the restaurant, also idk what happened with the to go order, but it undeniably looks different from the food we got there. The bread we got at the restaurant was super soft, and the food we got later was hard bread and sad. The energetic receptionist was the fist indication that the staff here are working hard to make you visit enjoyable. We were seated inside quickly. The waitress came by almost immediately and brought menus and water for the table. While this may sound simple, so many establishments miss the mark here. The menu is simple and easy to read with a broad variation of offerings. (Both food and drink) We enjoyed all of the tastings we had, especially the hush puppies appetizers- give these a try. The environment is a little loud and may not be the place for an intimate dinner or business discussion. I recently dined at Seven Lamps for a business luncheon with a party of six. Although it was quite hot outside, the restaurant was very accommodating and allowed us to move indoors. The service was excellent; our server was perceptive and considerate, understanding that we were engaged in business discussions and timing her check-ins perfectly. For my meal, I had the green salad with pickled red onions, peppadew peppers, avocado and dill vinaigrette, topped with a few grilled shrimp. It was light, refreshing, and smaller in portion than usual (especially for the price), but I enjoyed it. I went here after shopping with my sisters and we had a wonderful experience. Our server was great. She was also the bartender and took care of us quite well. After talking with her she recommended that we get the brussel sprouts and the smoked wings and also said that the crispy rice was good. We opted for getting the brussel sprouts and smoked wings and they were so good! We could taste the smokiness in the wings and they were flavorful on a bed of their house made ranch. The brussel sprouts were crisp and will cooked and we're full of good flavor. My sister and I shared those and it was a good portion size. My other sister got the chicken panini and loved how it was spicy and flavorful. We were able to get the french fries and their salad. They were both very good and the fries were fresh. Their salad dressing was a strawberry vinaigrette that was so light and went so well with their salads. I also got a drink. I cannot remember the name of it but it's the last drink on the list that cost $17. I got it without the Chili's which was the bartenders recommendation and it was good. This little cute hidden spot is very nice. I love the atmosphere and the outdoor area. This is my second time visiting. My first time coming was AMAZING, so I came again. I forgot to write a review the first time so decided so would make sure I did this time. The staff was extremely kind and very knowledgeable of the menu. My frozen Frose drink was the truth. I really recommend you try this. The only reason they are getting a 4 out of 5 stars is because the fish itself was very bland. It didn't have any flavor. The brussel sprouts this time were not crispy and done. They were very hard in the middle. We did order another order and asked them to cook them longer and they came out perfect.
