We stayed in a hotel room this visit but as I said, we fell in love with this hotel and have already made reservations for memorial day weekend in one of the newly remodeled condos. The grounds are far enough from the road that the noise of traffic is nonexistent. Only the sounds of relaxation and the ocean in the background. There is plenty of parking. A Pickle Ball Court. A Dog Area with Bags. Even a restaurant called "Dark Harbour." I love a good pirate bar! With free breakfast and a restaurant on site, your set up for a relaxing time. Usually "breakfast" is yogurt and cereal I don't like. They had that here as well BUT they also have a lot of breakfast choices. My favorite was sausage and gravy over fresh biscuits with sausage links on the side. There was cheese omelet, pastries, bagels, cereal, coffee, tea, juices and some other things. Really nice set up serving from 6 - 9:30am. My Mother in law can get up and get breakfast without having to wait on us. We had a nice time at breakfast. We even met another family and their son Sam. There is a nice grass area in the back. Seating areas, Gas BBQ's, Corn Hole games and a nice paved walking trai. There are beach bikes the hotel let's guests use and nearby you can rent electric bikes. The ocean is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We walked down to the beach and stood in awe of the vast sands and waves gently rolling in. Downtown Long Beach is within a few miles of the hotel so there is plenty to do or you can do my favorite vacation idea... "Nothing." Not really nothing but sitting on the deck or taking naps with the sun on my face is my idea of vacation.

The property feels like a retreat with a lovely atmosphere that feels a world apart from Long Beach despite being so close in proximity to town. We didn't have time to make full use of the pool, sauna, or pickleball courts - but these amenities would be perfect for a rainy day at the coast and when we come back we'll make more time in our schedule to use them. Check-in/check-out was a breeze and staff was very pleasant. They let me borrow a lighter for a birthday cake which was much appreciated! The walk to the beach is very scenic and beautiful in itself. Highly recommend this resort!

Prior to this visit, the rooms were fairly basic, but very adequate. Today, we arrived to find a beautifully updated room, that feels much bigger and much cleaner than they previously were. We have new appliances, new countertop and backsplash, new floors, a larger couch, a huge king bed, a walk-in shower with a new vanity, and everything is just stunning. Very well done! From the bottom units, you have a small deck with a bench, and upper units have a balcony. All rooms overlook the dunes, and the higher ones can catch you a glimpse of the ocean. You spend the evening listening to the roar of the waves. It's so relaxing. In the main office area, you'll find a recreation room, vending machines, and espresso stand with good coffee, and a huge saline pool that's in a solarium type of building. Their fitness center is small but it's something. They love dogs, and it shows. You'll get a welcome pack for your mutt, and there's a lighthouse themed dog house in the parking lot that you can take pictures of your dog with. There's two TVs - you can stream from your device in the bedroom, or watch cable in the living room. You'll have a gas fireplace, a lounge chair, a couch that folds out into a bed with a nice, squishy mattress, and a two person dining table. The staff here have been here a long time, and it's always nice to see a familiar face when we arrive. Shout out to Kevin! Always friendly and helpful. It's about a five minute drive to downtown Long Beach, where you'll find a bakery, an arcade, and lots of shops and restaurants. Don't forget you can even drive on the beach! You'll love it here.

The host told us the wait would be 20-30 mins, so we put our names in and kept walking, exploring the street until it was time to return. They're pretty quick bussing tables to turn over guests in order to seat new ones. The waitress took our order fairly quickly and we sat back, listen to the live musician and waited for the food. The price was higher than we'd like, but honestly it was about the same as every other restaurant in the town. The food came in a timely manner and was good. Restrooms were also clean and tended too, even with this large of a crowd. This is going to be one of the local restaurants we want to return to in the future. I kind of understand why they're so busy now!

We ordered drinks (coke and beer) and after 15-20 minutes we had no one come to our table. Never got our drinks or the chance to order food. The guy who walked in behind us had his drink, appetizer and main course served to him. We had to call the waiter to us and ask him what is going on. He said he got the entire restaurant dumped on him even though there were multiple waiters running around. We personally saw him at the fountain machine and he did not bother to bring us a coke. And people that came in after us were being served. We left after that. Service-0 stars Food-unknown Ambience-2

Free tasting if you stay at the Adrift or Shelburne properties. It's a small distillery with a few tables indoors and plenty of picnic tables outside as well as bicycle parking out front. We had bicycled the discovery trail and after tasting we tried one of the cocktails as well. I enjoyed the herbal amor and my husband enjoyed a 'no fills' but very tasty mary. WorldMark guests are treated to a complimentary tasting, so The Homie and I decided to check this out on 6/18/25. The counter person there was extremely welcoming and knowlegeable. He replied to my inquiry that they have been in business since 2018. He gave us the rundown of all the featured spirits: vodkas, rums, whiskeys, and liqueurs. The Homie selected 3 whiskeys & 3 liqueurs to sample. I selected all five whiskeys and the coffee liqueur. While we sat outside for our tasting, we also saw a deer and osprey. I ended up buying a 375 mL bottle of the Rhubarb Elderberry liqueur to take home. The Homie and a friend also visited today (3/20/25) and purchased some gin for a family member. Approachable and no upsell pressure experienced, one can make a fairly educated choice and purchase.
