Service was good for a Friday night, but the place wasn't very busy. We stopped in after being close by for another event. Most everyone enjoyed their food. My Caesar Salad was a big miss. The dressing was a liquid golden color that mostly just tasted like fish. My fault for putting it on the salad before testing it. The chicken breast was unexpectedly fried and not grilled, again my fault for not asking. Finally, when my daughter tried to order soup the server said "Soup!?! We don't even have Soup." My daughter is young so she didn't quite understand what was going on since it's clearly listed on the menu. When we pointed to it on the menu the server said "Well I don't think we've had it more than once since we opened." Long story short...there was soup. So give it a try, but we will go elsewhere in the future. read more

Stopped in for a MD dinner nothing fancy just a local place locally owned. Were quickly sat, given waters and menus. Server quickly attended to our ordering answering questions and such. Both ordered margaritas, and the chips and sauces, then hubbubs ordered the batters fish tacos while I ordered the Thai peanut tacos. Everything came out quickly and was very delicious!! I have been wanting to try this place and desperately wanting to try the Huckleberry pizza. I went with three other friends of mine on a Sunday evening and we had an amazing experience. Our waiter, (whom I wish I could remember his name) was an absolute delight. He was so charismatic and super patient and friendly with us. We were there to visit with each other and he never made us feel rushed at all when it came to ordering, or leaving. He joked and laughed with us, and made us feel super welcome. The food was amazing! We've previously gone to the Port Orchard location and were not disappointed in this one at all. The Huckleberry pizza definitely did not disappoint, it had everything that I love, all on one pizza and it was delicious. It was also large enough, which made the higher price seem worth it. I had half the pizza left to take home. They didn't have a pizza box to go though, (inside joke with the waiter, it wasn't a big deal at all!), they gave me a regular to go box which was 100% okay. They had delicious drinks that my friends ordered, and they all enjoyed their food as well. Definitely recommend this place! And hopefully if the owner sees this they will find out who the waiter was and let them know we loved the experience he provided! read more

We started with the calamari, not my favorite appetizer but there's had a good flavor and tasty dipping sauce. I had the blueberry Brie burger and it's one of the best burgers I've had. The blueberries sautéed but still had the crispiness, the Brie plays off the berries so well... my husband enjoyed his burger as well (delicious I took a bite of that one and I also tried my daughters shrimp tacos). Go hungry and be prepared to have tough choices because the entire descriptive menu sounds delicious. Best beer cheese ever and like no other. Garlic schiracha aioli sounded good but the flavors are a must try. The Bahn Mi burger was a unique fusion of beef, pork and slaw on perfectly toasted brioche bun. Well we walked out, third time coming here cause the food is great. Really wish wait staff figured their life out second time with trash service. Something to be said when we're seated for 10mins on a not busy Thursday night. the waitress completely forgot about us, sat another table, took their order, got the check for another table then got the drinks from the bar for the table she just sat and didn't even come to get us water or a drink order. This location has seen a few different concepts the past several years. The Port Orchard Peninsula is a favorite so we were happy to see that an expansion was coming to Silverdale. The menu items are diverse, the beer list is on point (as a plus, they have several non-alcoholic beer options in the cooler). Our party of four sat in the bar area where we were greeted promptly. We came around 1 for brunch on Sunday with our two kids ages 5 and 3. We requested the patio and loved the clean, sturdy picnic style tables. There were really fun coloring sheets plus hot wheels to entertain everyone. The beer was amazing! The food was delicious and came out quickly and piping hot. I especially loved the fluffy biscuits and sausage gravy, and the smoked bacon was so flavorful. We were pleasantly surprised by the Peninsula Brewhouse. The other brewery in town has gone downhill and we were looking for a new spot. We sat outside since it was a nice night. The server was great, and the food was well above the normal fare of Silverdale. We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese and mustard, poutine fries (they showed up really late because of a mixup in the kitchen but not a huge deal), chips and queso and beer cheese, fish tacos, the Thai chicken tacos (my favorite), banh mi burger (it was alright but would not order again), and chicken sandy. First visit to this establishment under the new ownership and I think this team may have finally figured it out. They are the first team to figure out some of the basics like waiting by the front door where the cold air blows in is not acceptable and a nice waiting area in the back with access to the bar was a stroke of genius. The menu has a basic selection of burgers, chicken, and pizza but they do a few things very well! Customer service from the time you walk in to the time you leave is excellent. Minus 1 star because while very flavorful, the chicken to bun ratio on the chicken sandwich was bad. The piece of chicken was the size of 1/2 the bun. With that said, I'm really pulling for Peninsula Beverage Co! I think they're going to make this location a success! read more

We just discovered this gem in Silverdale. They offer pub food and a long list of taps. The service was excellent. But what made this brewhouse truly special is the care they take preparing the food. The grilled onions are really grilled! The hamburger was cooked perfectly. And the beer brat was amazing. (Note to restaurant, please keep this on the menu year-round... not just Octoberfest!) This is the first time I've ever had to leave a bad review anywhere. We decided to make a reservation at this establishment for Mother's Day that included a highchair for our child. We completely understood that it was unusually busy for a holiday. So when we got there, we were told that all of the highchairs were being used and that they would keep an eye on any available for us. In the hour and 15 minutes we were there, we were never brought a highchair. It also took 15 minutes for us to even be brought water or be addressed at all by the server. Then, it took an hour for us to get our food. And when it arrived, everything was cold. My wife's Mother's Day brunch was horrible and ruined by bad service, bad food, and bad an overall bad experience. I still tipped because, like I said, we understand that Mother's Day is always unusually busy and a stressful time for the service industry, and we are not petty or ungrateful people. But I will not sit idly by and accept my wife's sad disposition on what should have been a special morning without some kind of recourse. I can only assume that we were not the only ones with this kind experience on this day as well. I am not here to degrade this establishment either, we have had good experiences here. I would just please ask that proper staffing and food quality checks are in place for future holidays or special circumstances in the future to prevent things like these from happening again. thank you. read more

We stopped at Peninsula Brewhouse returning home from Olympic National Park this noon. We have several people with severe food allergies and the Brewhouse was most accommodating. The manager was personable, knowledgeable, and flexible with our orders. The food was wonderful ( one of the best burgers I've had in a long time!) and everyone in our party was more than satisfied. The restaurant is very family friendly with a number of kid meals that were different than the usual and quite tasty. We appreciated the hospitality, accommodations and quick service.
