Not to mention the Lavender Cocktail I ordered must have had expired syrup, as the aftertaste was soul crushing. At least I had the food to look forward to! Not... I took one bite and sent it back, as I prefer my burger to be at least lukewarm, but my patty arrived cold and sad, resembling the atmosphere of this place.. Just told them to take it off the bill, don't even want the attempt of making another flop.. If I were a masochist, I would come here to voluntarily suffer. Seeing as I am not, however, means I will not be coming back and could never recommend this establishment to anyone, not even my enemies...

They offer 18 beers on draft and two ciders, along with Ghostfish Brewing Company gluten-free beer in cans. The menu includes oysters, elk burgers, nachos, wings, calamari, cheese curds, tacos, and more. On weekends, they serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The patio area is nice and features bar stools that wrap around the entire building (there are no tables, just a bar-style railing). It can get a little warm outside since there's limited shade, but the view is to die for. For my gluten-free friends, the Brass Kraken offers gluten-free buns, corn tortillas for tacos, and one fully gluten-free beer option. A great place to visit it you are in the Poulsbo area.

I had it once with the bun and even then I found it pretty dry and underwhelming, especially for the price. ($18 with a pickle and a handful of their thick fries [the fries are tasty and vegan]). We went yesterday and I got a squash appetizer without the crème fresh, and half the squash was undercooked (like so hard I couldn't put a fork through it). I told the server and they comped the dish, but even the part that was edible wasn't that great, so I didn't really want a replacement. My sister likes the steak, she's had it twice and the steak is cooked well, the sauce is good, but the carrots have been undercooked both times. She agrees that the drinks are better than the food. She also says the desserts are good. My mom thought the crab cakes were delicious, her Brussels sprouts were not undercooked. The people who work there are lovely, and it's a good vibe, but it might just be a drinks & desserts spot for me.

The service was very friendly. There was only one waitress serving tables and the counter, but she did not seem at all stressed. She was doing an excellent job. The menu is a great collection of appetizers, soups, salads and entrees. We settled on the clam chowder and the coconut prawns and both were done to perfection. They also have hamburgers, steaks, salmon, oysters and a lot more. The Geoduck takes its name from the giant clam that can be found in the area. Looking forward to going back.

One time we got to see a mamma and baby elk walk through the field, and there are frequently eagles and salmon feeding on the mouth of the river. Friendly owner and staff.
