TL/DR: Chain Sub location that keeps the consistency, friendliness, and cleanliness of the brand. Ice Cream next door. Penn Station East Coast has good reasonably priced subs, they are not completely amazing rush out and tell your friends and post all over the gram type subs but that's not the goal they are trying for. If you order something you usually like they aren't going to make you a terrible version of it. Fresh breads and mostly fresh ingredients combined with a friendly atmosphere and quick service you got yourself a decent place to stop at when you're shopping in the near by shopping center, Target, or even Southpoint mall if you don't mind a 2 min drive to get away from the mall food court premium price increase.

Cheesesteak (couldn't wait to take a bite haha!)

When you want a fast Philly, this is your place. They are consistently delicious and made to order. The owner/manager is often there and is very friendly. She works hard to train her staff to be the same way. It's a cozy little spot tucked in a plaza near the shopping mall and they have outdoor seating. Whenever I want a Philly cheese steak, I go here! Yummy.

Medium shareable fries, cup not full like it usually is.

The cheesesteak was delicious!! I ordered extra provolone and feel charging $1.49 for maybe an ounce more cheese is very pricey. The fries were also delicious as usual. However, the medium shareable cup was only partially full. That looks like you're cheating the customer. Owners will need to find other cost cutting measures instead of overcharging and decreasing portions. There are 4 other sub type restaurants near this location and we have many other options who have not been doing these things.

No good for takeout. Fries cold, packaging no appropriate for hot sub - cheese stuck to paper wrapper. Won't order here again

This was my first time but my friend's hundredth (her words!) There was plenty of parking. We were greeted upon entry and informed that we could choose where we sat and just to scan the table QR code when we were ready to order. We chose a high top and a server brought us water. The vibrant colors and decor gave off excellent vibes. I ordered the Karaage Bowl (on greens instead of rice AND all the sauces on the side) and a side order of seaweed salad. A server brought them to our table. It was not necessary for us to get up once we were seated. Everything was SO GOOD. Like, "I'm mad at myself for not coming here before" good. All of the sauces were amazing too. I ordered them on the side since I wasn't sure how I would like them all, but I think I'll leave them on next time. The "greens" were a mix of lettuce and cabbage. The side of seaweed salad for $2.50 seemed a little small when they brought it out but it was packed in there and was plenty. The server came around a couple of times to check on us and top off our water. We bussed our own trash. There was only one unisex bathroom that I saw. There seemed like a lot of takeout orders going out (it was a little separate from the dining area which was nice). There was also a lovely outdoor area that would be nice if it wasn't 100 degrees. I will definitely be back to try more menu items!

Yelp told me this delicious sandwich shop was just 5 minutes away, which seemed like the perfect option. It was a hot summer day and I couldn't believe how many people were sitting outside in the heat. We got the last table in the air conditioned inside, which made me happy. We placed our orders at the counter: - The Jane for me - Pine Street Pimento for my daughter and a bag of chips (salt & vinegar for me) for both! We did the smaller size sandwiches which were still quite large, but we were quite hungry and finished them off. They were so good that I even thought about coming back for lunch the next day, but knew there were plenty of delicious restaurants in the area to try. However, i'll come again when back in the area!

First of all, the bread is soft and has a nice bite, holds the juices of a sandwich well and was fresh. I got the Cobble Hill sandwich and the turkey was really good. Also the size is amazing for the price. When you get there, it feels like you're in the wrong place or entering in the wrong way, but you're not. I asked if this was the sandwich spot and a young man took my order and made my sandwich within 5 min. And there is enough parking behind the State Farm building to pull up and get your sandwich I can't wait to go back and try the Italian and cheesesteak sandwiches.

"Great deli-style sandwiches, from rather hidden location on Chapel Hill Rd"…read more Came by here on a Saturday. This place is REALLY hard to find... it's behind the State Farm building, but there's barely any signage from the street. (Note: some photos here in Yelp seem to be from an older location.) We actually came one Saturday, but it was unexpectedly closed, but we caught them the following one, so good to call and confirm before driving over. You walk up to a door on the back, and scan a QR code to see the menu. Then knock on/ open the door and someone will come to take your order. Then you wait outside and they bring you your sandwiches. The lady who took our order was very friendly. The kitchen was rather large, so I suspect it's used for more than just this business. We ordered two turkey subs-- the East New York (which was slightly spicy) and the Dumbo. Wait time was maybe 7-10 minutes or so. Both sandwiches came nicely wrapped, and I think total cost was a little over $20. And conveniently, they take Apple Pay. These were not your Subway or Quiznos sandwiches-- these were DELICIOUS pressed sandwiches (we got them on focaccia. I personally liked the Dumbo the best-- it had a nice mix of flavors that meshed well. The East New York was solid and had a nice spiciness, but not quite as exciting overall. Would I come back? Probably, but since there's no seating, and it's a bit awkward, maybe not the first place I'd think to try, but again, the sandwiches were REALLY good. I do think it may be excellent for catering or for getting picnic sandwiches though.

I came here expecting greatness because the reviews were already talking crazy, and honestly, they were right. This is not some fancy five-star, velvet-rope, tuxedo situation. I got the half cheesesteak so I could leave room for the Parmesan French fries, and that was the move. Now about the star of the show: this cheesesteak is so good it might split your wig back. Tender. Juicy. Scrumptious. 100% beef chopped up with grilled onions and charred green peppers, plus I opted for the cheddar cheese. Every bite was filling, rich, and straight-up delicious. The bread held up, the cheese did its job, and the whole thing tasted like somebody inside that kitchen actually is a foodie.. Then come those Parmesan deep-fried French fries ....immaculate. Crispy, salty not too salty, cheesy, and gone way too fast. The menu choices were solid too, especially the roasted garlic duck fat mayo. That alone lets you know they are not f**ing around. Easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time!!! The chicken cutlet was delicious, the prosciutto added a great salty flavor, and the whole thing just worked. I would absolutely go back just for this sandwich. The only downside was the wait. We stood in line for about 45 minutes in the heat, and since it's a pretty small spot with no real waiting area, it can be a rough experience during the summer. There also wasn't any shade or any umbrellas, so standing outside for that long was definitely brutal (highly recommend they add a couple umbrellas or covering to help). That said... what a sandwich.
