Mixed feelings about my experience here. Expensive! $18 with tip. I definitely didn't get an $18 chicken cheesesteak when I walked out the door. I didn't clarify, but no onions, peppers, or mushrooms. Just chicken and provolone. Bread was good but the chicken seemed like those frozen chicken cheesesteak patties you throw on the grill and chop up. Not sure this is the case, however. Wasn't especially a large sub, about a foot or so. Overall, the sub was good but not great, and definitely not $18 with tip (see the receipt). The prices are on the board, but I guess I thought the sub would be different and reflect the price. The actual store is very nice. A lot of PSU memorabilia on the walls and self serve kiosks to order your food.

First time having a cheesesteak in Philly! Not exactly what I expected but was still good! Meat was more on the moist side than seared. Asked for grilled onions but I guess they have fried onions which are essentially sautéed vs border line caramelize. The onion rings were tasty but getting a little basket of 6 for 6 bucks wasn't a good value. I saw too late they had something called funnel fries. Those looked good but I was full. The place has a sporty vibe and the people working were very nice.

A fantastic and overflowing cheesesteak like it should be! The college vibes given off here exude Penn State, and is the one place you should visit if you're looking for an authentic cheesesteak while in town. It's within walking distance to almost everywhere, and when you get in you can order quickly on a kiosk or at a counter, with plenty of seating and a helpful and smiling wait staff. The fries were perfectly cooked and they had lots of typical side offerings to go with your sandwich.

First time here and I ordered a cheesesteak with provolone cheese and onions. Smelled good and looked good. It's about a 10 inch hoagie roll and had enough meat to fill the roll as you can see. Had a very good taste to it. Priced at $12.99 and they charged me $0.50 for the onions. I was a little put off with that. Just roll in the cost of the onions in the total price. Don't nickel, and dime me. I'd be back again when I'm downtown

Visiting from Texas, best cheesesteak I've ever had! I got it with the cooper sharp and a side of sweet peppers. The hoagie was so soft, steak was tender and it had the perfect amount of grease. I also ate the wrapper. The fries were good too! The staff was also a 10/10! Ohio State fans be sure to visit after you lose in a few weeks. Go Hoosiers!

Amazing atmosphere, great service both while ordering and eating. Totally worth the price!

Bland. There was no cheese on the cheesesteak. Fries are cold and gross. The staff wasn't helpful.

Really good spot for cheesesteaks…read more. Everyone is friendly and very helpful as far if you have any questions about how to order or what you want. I got the Lil Philly. Which is the smaller version to their big cheesesteak and comes with fries and a drink. Not bad at all in my opinion. But don't get fooled, it's a decent size and filled me up! I ordered mine with sharp provolone, onions and wiz. But you can add a lot more toppings for an up charge. The bread was soft and fresh, what I love most was that sharp provolone. It was delicious and the wiz just took it to another level. It was absolutely delicious. Their fries are nicely seasoned with salt , which is also good. You could tell they have a lot of regulars , as I sat there I saw many groups come in and out for their steak sandwiches. Definitely a good spot. It has a decent amount of tables to sit at.

Philly sports photos and memorabilia all over the walls. All the staff I interacted with were extremely nice and helpful. I decided to get the Little Philly Special which comes with a 6 inch cheesesteak, fries and a drink. I went with the cheese fries because that's just what you do. From the hoagie roll bags I saw it looks like they get the rolls shipped in from Philadelphia which is the only way to go. My only complaint besides the awful decor j/k is the whiz was runner then most cheesesteak places so dipping the fries made an unbelievable mess. Everything tasted phenomenal though. From what I saw while eating my lunch is that their hoagies are just as popular here.

Ordered a single cheesesteak which is served on a 12" soft squishy white bread hoagie roll. Rolls made by Angelo Pacifico & Sons in Altoona, PA. Didn't think I could finish it all, so I mentioned I'd take half of it to go and eat half to stay at the tables inside the shop. They kindly pre-wrapped my to-go half in an aluminum and paper sandwich wrap with tape to hold it, and plated the half to stay on a small paper plate with plastic fork. Very kind to do that even when I said I'd be happy to do it myself with a to go wrapper. I ordered the cheesesteak with peppers and onions and a dash of vinegar and oil. The beef cheesesteak was similar to a flank steak cut chopped into easy to bite shreds. My cousin ordered a chicken cheesesteak with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, shredded lettuce, thin sliced tomato, and mayo. The chicken seemed to be mostly white meat chopped into easy to bite shreds as well. Good selection of local sweet flavored teas and chocolate milk from Ritchey's Dairy in Martinsburg, PA, and Coca Cola soda products in the coolers to choose from. Locally made chips from Middleswarth in Lewistown, PA. Total for 2 Single 12" Hoagies & an Iced Tea just under $18. Payment accepted in Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, and Cash. Bathroom available just off the cafe.
