In the beginning he said he would try and match the exterior wall but knew it wasn't going to match completely. I hired him cause I felt he was confident in his job. He took two days to fix the holes. The patch is completely bad. It's not even flush to wall but looks indented. The following day I pressed to check how firm the patch is and it gives, which to me shows that'll it probably crack over time. I am now going to have to find another person to repair it the way it should be which will cost me more money. I also had to use a metal spatula to remove hardened plaster from my walkway and had to broom all the dust and chipped stucco from the work area.

Ultimately, despite the cheap price it was that defensiveness and lack of willingness to fix mistakes that turned us off.

Busy bee painting was great, I would highly recommend then to anyone…read more We recently hired them to paint our exterior and interior, mainly focused on trim (doors and windows, inside and out). We are selling our house and wanted to spruce things up prior to listing. The home is nearly 4000 sq ft and there are lots of doors and windows that needed help (lots of prep, caulking, some minor repairs, etc.), so it was a fairly complicated job. We also had a patio cover that needed painting, some stucco work on our exterior retaining wall, and the home is two stories. Joseph and the team at Busy bee did a fantastic job. They took the job within 3 days of our call (timing was really important to us as we realized we had to move on fairly quick notice) at a very fair price. He and his crew were extremely professional and showed up everyday when they said they were going to. We have a 6 month old baby, and were working from home, and they very courteously worked around us throughout the days, and cleaned up everyday at the end. As the project went on we noticed some things that we didn't originally discuss in the scope, and Joseph had his crew take care of most of them at no cost, and for the few that were more involved, he gave us an extremely fair price to add them. The job also finished in a reasonable amount of time, despite the changes along the way. RE: COVID precautions, Joseph's crew was great - they wore masks and we consistently left the windows open to practice safety precautions. They practiced social distancing from our family and were very respectful and understanding. I talked with two other painters before I found Busy Bee - one was not nearly as well priced, and the other did not have great customer service over the phone. Busy Bee checked all the boxes. Honestly no complaints and I would hire them again for any future painting needs interior or exterior.

Lastly the price, 20,000 (TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS) to spot prime, caulk, and paint....! That's crazy. I know the economy is nuts right now but with a quote like that, seems you didn't want the job. Your warranty was the worst of all the other quotes I got.

This time we were extra careful. We got 5 quotes, and only one company seemed capable enough to handle our job. Cisco, the owner, called me right after my inquiry. He was available immediately and came to give the estimate within the hour. When he arrived, I was impressed by his professionalism and how knowledgeable he was. He explained every detail and offered up ideas that we hadn't even thought of. Him being our first estimate, I was slightly bummed because I immediately wanted to go with him, but HAD to do my due diligence because of how we got burned the last time. The other companies did their best but weren't as enthusiastic or thorough as Cisco had been. My initial hunch was on the money. Speaking of money, they brought a very fair price and very detailed contract. The project was estimated to take 7 business days (because of the complexity of the project), and that is exactly how long it took. The most impressive part of our experience was the crew and the detail they took to make sure that it was done properly. Johnny was the crew leader and he was respectful, knowledgeable, and very communicative every step of the way.
