In the beginning he said he would try and match the exterior wall but knew it wasn't going to match completely. I hired him cause I felt he was confident in his job. He took two days to fix the holes. The patch is completely bad. It's not even flush to wall but looks indented. The following day I pressed to check how firm the patch is and it gives, which to me shows that'll it probably crack over time. I am now going to have to find another person to repair it the way it should be which will cost me more money. I also had to use a metal spatula to remove hardened plaster from my walkway and had to broom all the dust and chipped stucco from the work area.

The first time he came out to texture and paint a few bedrooms in my home. He did such a fantastic job, I knew then, I had to save his number for future painting services. Well, I've been living in Texas for the past 5 years and I'm planning on selling my house in California and the house needed some serious curb appeal, so I thought of Bob. This company is run by the man of the same name and he is a true old-school professional. When I hire any kind of contractor, I usually go with my gut feeling during and after the interview. Do they show up on time? Is their vehicle in good condition? Are they polite? Check, check, check. Do they ask pertinent questions while they are there? Do they get the estimate to you in a timely manner? Are their prices reasonable? Check, check, check. I got a good vibe from him right from the start, but the best was yet to come. Deciding to go with Bob was one of the best decisions i've ever made (marrying my wife is still tops!) He and his helper Jose showed up every day right at 8:00 AM sharp and got straight to work. To say that they work quickly and efficiently would be a gross understatement. They have a great system and work like the proverbial well-oiled machine. At the end of every day, they cleaned up after themselves and stacked the ladders neatly off to the side. No half empty paint cans. Not one speck of trash. The only way you know that they were there was that the prep work was done and/or there was new paint on some part of the house. Do you see a pattern here? Total pros who take pride in their work. They work the way they do because that's how it SHOULD be done. That kind of work ethic is sadly very rare these days. And I cannot say enough about the QUALITY of the work. Everything masked off perfectly, no runs, drips, or overspray. Believe me, I looked and looked, but did not find one thing that wasn't first rate. Given the quality of the work, I'd say his price was an incredible deal. Talk about exceeding expecations! We are selling our house and wanted to spruce things up prior to listing. The home is nearly 4000 sq ft and there are lots of doors and windows that needed help (lots of prep, caulking, some minor repairs, etc.), so it was a fairly complicated job. We also had a patio cover that needed painting, some stucco work on our exterior retaining wall, and the home is two stories. Joseph and the team at Busy bee did a fantastic job. They took the job within 3 days of our call (timing was really important to us as we realized we had to move on fairly quick notice) at a very fair price. He and his crew were extremely professional and showed up everyday when they said they were going to. We have a 6 month old baby, and were working from home, and they very courteously worked around us throughout the days, and cleaned up everyday at the end. As the project went on we noticed some things that we didn't originally discuss in the scope, and Joseph had his crew take care of most of them at no cost, and for the few that were more involved, he gave us an extremely fair price to add them. The job also finished in a reasonable amount of time, despite the changes along the way. RE: COVID precautions, Joseph's crew was great - they wore masks and we consistently left the windows open to practice safety precautions. They practiced social distancing from our family and were very respectful and understanding. I talked with two other painters before I found Busy Bee - one was not nearly as well priced, and the other did not have great customer service over the phone. Busy Bee checked all the boxes. Honestly no complaints and I would hire them again for any future painting needs interior or exterior.
