My boyfriend had an engine replacement done here that took almost a month. Upon receiving the car back (after they took apart all of the circuitry of the car for the replacement), the engine light came back on, the left blinker stopped working, the horn stopped working, and the backup camera stopped working. As of a couple of days ago, the car would not start and come to find out the starter has gone bad. We got a full diagnostic report at another mechanic immediately prior to taking it here and there were no issues with the starter. We are within the month's warranty but the owner is refusing to discount anything for fixing the starter because "they can go out at anytime." However, if it was fine immediately prior to their work on the car and within a month, it has gone bad, this is on them. I tried to reconcile the issue with him on the phone and he laughed at us like we were stupid when we were trying to explain our concerns, said " are you a mechanic?" and when I said no, he said "then you know nothing." and then finally, he hung up on me when I threatened to report him to the attorney general's office. In addition, one of his own workers disclosed that he does cheap work and gouges customers for it. Without a doubt the worst interaction I have ever had with any type of business in my life. Please do not bring your business to this man.

They broke a stud mounting my tiers, after already charging me $289 the told me it wild be an…read moreadditional $80 to replace the stud they broke, claiming it wasn't their fault, they said it was who ever messed with the tier before is responsible so they didn't feel they needed to fix it, so we take the car to our garage and try to replace the stud, they messed up the lug nuts so bad 2 more broke... so by Marty's tiers standards it was their fault the other 2 studs broke... and for a little extra...the pressure in my tiers ranged from 30psi to 41psi so they didn't even check that. Just know they will try to get you if they can. OK, I agree. It had to be done, but you did not have to charge me the $80. You broke it. You fix it. And the tier pressure was way way too high in 2 tiers, you know what you did.

I went in because our Jeep Patriot was making a squeaky noise when backing up. They ended up replacing the rotors, brake pads, etc.--$2,000+ and about 7.5 hours later, it was finished. The drive home was fine, but by Monday morning the squeak was still there. I called NTB, and they had me bring it back the next day. After waiting about 30-40 minutes, two mechanics checked everything over and said it all looked good, at least from a safety standpoint. We stopped using the emergency/parking brake, and the noise went away immediately. At this point, I'm guessing it's just an older Jeep thing and occasional noises are "normal."
