I'm sure these guys will be great movers for any job but they particularly thrived working with my anxiety and chaos. I have a lot of anxiety having strangers in my house and had previously had a bad experience with movers mistreating my stuff. This experience felt so easy, I was completely respected and we actually had fun! Ted and Nathan didn't just make me feel comfortable; they were downright enjoyable to be around! They made me laugh and made each other laugh. They seemed like a couple of kind individuals who actually enjoy their jobs! The crew was quick and organized and didn't judge me at all for being the total opposite. They came over to a chaotic mess and helped me with no judgment. I have a few pieces of antique furniture and a large oil painting and they showed me how they secure everything to protect my belongings. They also set everything up for me at my new place just how I wanted it! I honestly just really liked being around these guys and they were incredibly professional. I could not recommend them more. The two movers worked hard to meet that request, including figuring out a useful solution for us (unloading some things into the garage instead of putting everything in the house, which helped us meet our goal). The driveway is very steep, and initially Phil thought said could cut it in half with a ramp out of the side of the truck. His time estimate was based on that idea, but it turned out we couldn't use the ramp, so the movers had to work harder than anticipated. They still made it happen, though -- it was more work than they expected going into the job, but they were very kind about it.

Because I left a review of my experience as a customer, (which is the prerogative of any customer), Ben is now slandering me and threatening me legally and financially. This is retaliatory and unprofessional. I've attached a photo substantiating that Ben is either confused or intentionally lying: He claims I posted my review and then e-mailed him demanding money. I did no such thing. I finally got the courage to stand up for myself despite numerous threats of legal action if I did so from Ben, (it's taken me a year to address this due to his threats and how unsafe he has made me feel). I hoped I wouldn't hear from Ben. Almost immediately Ben e -mailed me demanding payment and threatening me again. That e-mail is now included for reference. This serves as proof that Ben's statement below is completely untrue, (as is everything he has written here and elsewhere). My last e-mail is dated 7/2025. I was not, and have not been treated with respect or kindness since the moment I advocated for myself in the face of unfair, exploitive, & harmful treatment. Today I was notified of a response on this post. Ben, the Owner & Operator of this business, is continuing to threaten me for advocating for myself and a fair resolution and has escalated this matter repeatedly. Every single piece of information he shared below is a lie, as well as libel and slander. Ben's response truly speaks for itself, as this is how he treats his customers. I will simply let the law protect me here, as it will. Cascade Moving & Logistics is responsible for the most difficult, upsetting move I've ever had: They left the job undone both at the original location, new location, and storage units where the move was to be completed. After I disclosed multiple disabilities, they discriminated against me, refusing to make standard ADA communication accomodations such as speaking by phone. They broke an item valued at $1,200, refusing to credit it, and they cost me my deposit due to all of this, as they did not have the move completed in the agreed upon timeframe. The fallout from the toll of this move was a harrowing loss emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially, (totaling a loss of more than $6,000 in total). The worst part of the whole experience was the rampant gaslighting and predatory behavior: They repeatedly lied both verbally and in writing about these occurrences to save face and to avoid having to reimburse me. Lastly, they are just unkind, disreputable, and dishonest. I discourage anyone from working with or hiring this company, and this applies especially to alter-abled members of the community. I don't want them to hurt anyone else this way! They even went so far as to threaten me legally so I wouldn't leave a review. I hope they do better in the future.

The quote ended out being way low because of time wasted, an increased hourly rate I was not informed about from when I got a quote and because I had to buy my friend lunch after I called them in to do the job one of the movers couldn't do. One of the movers was good. He was personable and worked fast. The other mover that seemed to be the one "in charge" was so slow, unprofessional, reckless with my belongings and unapologetic when he let a full suitcase roll out the back of the moving truck. Multiple times I had to ask him to continue to work. He looked like he was exhausted after 30 minutes. I was on a weight restriction related to a medical procedure and I still moved more boxes than him. I ended out calling friend on the back end to come help so it wouldn't cost me even more. They left the starting point 30 minutes before we did and they arrived 30 minutes after. My girlfriend got bored waiting so she went to the convivence store where she saw them coming out after presumably taking a break. Every worker needs a break but it shouldn't be on the customers dime or at least take those breaks where the customer can access the truck. Zero communication on where they were during that hour either. When I tried to call billing to ask questions about the rate change and to request at least that 30 minutes back I only got a voicemail and they never called me back. I wouldn't use this company again.
