They had a manager come out and play dumb about my finding hair in my food and said how are things today. Ridiculous! They did not care at all. We had to ask twice for our wine. But we did appreciate that the wine prices were very good. Since it's grown in our own back yards, and often restaurants are way over charging for a glass of wine. Making me forgo it altogether, til I get home. Big thumbs up there too! And also, he was slow to remove the dirty plates. Seemed to spend a lot of time in the back. And doesn't seem to be bringing anything out etc. And there was only two other tables of two people each. So he wasn't running off his feet, or anything to make up for his absents. Anyways over all it was great. And if the waiter was a more attentive then I would have been completely satisfied. But he was polite and eager to help when he was around. Although it's a little dated it seemed clean. That's important. At least what I could see anyways. I google mapped this location and it kept taking me around the block. Did the same for our friends we were meeting there. Might want to fix that.

We found this restaurant and have returned each year, because it offers a nice atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. We've tried many of the items on the menu. They've all been very good. I recommend this gem.

The lighting and decor was very modern, trendy, and intimate, with spacious enough seating to be comfortable. The food.. was divine. Hot, fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with love. For the price it was a good deal, as well - we ordered the Dinner for 2, for around 50$, which came with 4 pieces of tandoori chicken, some rice, some hot naan, butter chicken, Chana masala, and dessert. They gave us a choice of rice pudding or gulab jamun, and let us have one of each! The naan was fresh, hot, crisp, and delicious, while being soft and buttery. The butter chicken was smooth, with a decent amount of chicken pieces, without bone, and a mild flavour one would expect. The channa masala was flavourful, cooked perfectly, and had a nice kick to it. The rice was flavoured and seasoned with turmeric and carrot slices making it so pretty and so aromatic at the same time. The tandoori chicken was wetter than I'm used to, due to the marinade being cooked with the chicken, but my gosh was it flavourful! We got it medium spice and it was just perfection. Not too spicy but hot enough, and just the right seasoning to be delicious through and through. The rice pudding was cool and decent, and the gulab Jamun was hot and absolutely fire! 10/10, will definitely go here again next time we visit Osoyoos. It's a no brainer!

The inside is massive but we were the only people dining in. They were playing an interesting mix of music (wasn't expecting Indian EDM, but it turned more chill after). The menu is extensive but we were here to try their lunch thalis (only available weekdays from 11:00am to 2:30pm). We were asked how spicy we wanted our dishes (mild, medium or hot); we opted for medium. - Veggie pakoras ($5.00) - you get 10 pieces with two sauces. Pakoras were crunchy and not too greasy. Both sauces were great, especially the green chutney. - Non-vegetarian thali ($11.99) - chicken korma, dal, vegetable balti, rice, salad and naan. There was a good amount of chicken and the sauce was well balanced. The dal had a hint of heat (think potentially from the gunpowder). The vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, peas, potato) were decent. Liked the carrots that were included as part of their Indian green salad. Basket of naan was fresh and plentiful. - Vegetarian thali ($11.99) - the only change here was palak paneer in place of the chicken korma. Spinach was tasty but wish they gave you more. We'll be back next time to try their momos.

As far ambiance, it's a relatively small restaurant with India / Nepal landscape pictures on the wall. Tidy and very clean. The ambiance won't woo you, but the food certainly will.
