The customer service was 5/5, it was so nice to be able to sit at the Milk Shed patio tables, enjoy one of their AMAZING beers and have the soup delivered right to me. My wife and I were looking to try something new for my 40th Birthday and we were incredibly satisfied with the experience and will definitely make it a regular part of our date nights. I had the Chashu Men with an Extra Egg and my wife had the Spicy Red Miso Ramen.

We were recommended Little Tokyo Ramen by a local who knows the food scene in town. It's a small…read morefood truck run by a husband and wife combo. They specialize in yatai style ramen and do everything from scratch; that's right, handmade noodles and broth from scratch. You can usually find them on weekends at Kettle River Brewing Co. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 5:00pm). There's only 6 (technically 5) options on the menu; legit. The wife takes your orders while the husband cooks. Wish they had a table or two for seating (they normally do but we dropped in when they were at a festival). While I'm nitpicking, wish they used a larger, more bowl shaped takeout container. - Traditional shoyu ramen (#1) ($11.50) - handmade noodles in a from-scratch chicken pork broth flavoured with a soya sauce blend base. It came topped with green onions, spinach and chashu pork. The noodles were slightly firm (which I prefer) and had a good bite. Chashu slices were tender but quite fatty. The broth was clean tasting and had good depth - White miso ramen (#2) ($12.25) - same broth but flavoured with a white miso paste. This came topped with green onion, corn and chashu. The broth for the white miso was very rich and heavy. The noodles clung better but I'm not sure I could drink a whole bowl to myself. LTR is doing things right. It won't beat the ramen game in Vancouver but for Kelowna, it's a solid spot. 3.5 stars.

Good place to stop for a reasonably-priced meal before checking out some nearby wineries. Clean,…read morelots of space, kid-friendly, and courteous service. I'm not sure what the demographic of Lake Country is like, but this restaurant definitely caters to a Western palate. The Koha noodles, a stir-fry dish with beef, pork, prawn, squid, and veg, was served with hot sauce on the side. I definitely felt the sauce was needed, because it tasted one-note otherwise. The other dish my group ordered, the seafood fried rice, was much better. Maybe the more standard Vietnamese dishes are tastier. The only reason I didn't order them was that I'd had Viet food the night before. But after eating the "just okay" dishes I had, I regretted not doubling down on vermicelli. I also wish I had a toonie so I could get a Poké Ball from the toy vending machine!

Large space and the standard asian decor of black, red and grey with colourful silk lanterns and the ubiquitus waving cat. Greeted by an older gentleman that I assume is the owner, we were invited to sit anywhere. A young man ( I think the son) brought waters to us as we browsed the menu. I wanted bahn mi so my choice was the classic saigon with charsui, pate and pork and hubby had the chicken salad roll. We shared our dishes and the chicken salad roll was pretty tasty with the peanut sauce - mint and cilantro was pleasant but I wanted more veggies in the salad roll since it was a lot of rice vermicelli. The bahn mi was typical on a white crusty roll and but again good fillings but not enough veggies. Could use more carrots and daikon and cilantro to really stuff it like others I had in Vancouver. It's moderately priced with the salad roll $9.50 for 2 rolls and the sandwich at $13.50 but was tasty. 4 stars for the tasty food and service and it was a nice clean place. It's tucked around the corner bt the liquor store at the Winfield Shopping centre so look for it!
