We were asked how spicy we wanted our meal (we opted for medium). - Aloo gobi adraki ($9.95) - more of a home style, comforting take on aloo gobi. Plenty of rice and the naan (sprinkled with parsley) was fresh. - Lamb saag ($11.95) - it's an extra $1.00 to substitute for lamb/beef but totally worth it. The lighting and decor was very modern, trendy, and intimate, with spacious enough seating to be comfortable. The food.. was divine. Hot, fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with love. For the price it was a good deal, as well - we ordered the Dinner for 2, for around 50$, which came with 4 pieces of tandoori chicken, some rice, some hot naan, butter chicken, Chana masala, and dessert. They gave us a choice of rice pudding or gulab jamun, and let us have one of each! The naan was fresh, hot, crisp, and delicious, while being soft and buttery. The butter chicken was smooth, with a decent amount of chicken pieces, without bone, and a mild flavour one would expect. The channa masala was flavourful, cooked perfectly, and had a nice kick to it. The rice was flavoured and seasoned with turmeric and carrot slices making it so pretty and so aromatic at the same time. The tandoori chicken was wetter than I'm used to, due to the marinade being cooked with the chicken, but my gosh was it flavourful! We got it medium spice and it was just perfection. Not too spicy but hot enough, and just the right seasoning to be delicious through and through. The rice pudding was cool and decent, and the gulab Jamun was hot and absolutely fire! 10/10, will definitely go here again next time we visit Osoyoos. It's a no brainer!
