Rooms were nice, a bit on the 'flowery' side if you know what I mean, but my companion loved their robes :) They have free Wi-Fi available throughout. They had two common rooms, which were cozy for book reading or game playing. I liked the 'treats' at nice, we had ginger cookies and chocolate covered strawberries the two nights we stayed. They have a board that announces what is for breakfast, which is nice to have an idea, and they do alternate between a sweet and a savory breakfast. Food was good and a bit more on the creative side, which was appreciated. Parking is available and the B&B is located within walking distance of Southwest Harbor restaurants. There is even a shuttle during the busy season to bring you over to Bar Harbor.

They were super jealous of our cabin and we definitely cannot blame them! A few nights were super chilly and the heat really made the cabin so cozy. The couple who runs these cottages are so nice and accommodating. It's the perfect location to enjoy the quiet side of Acadia. The shops and restaurants in southwest harbor are so close you could walk back to your cottage.

It was the most luxurious place I'd ever stayed! Tucked off the main street in Southwest Harbor, this is a quiet little spot with well maintained grounds and amazingly organized cabins. Top notch bed and pillows. It's about a twenty minute drive to Bar Harbor, but it's easy and quick once you get the feeling of the layout. The "office" has extra swimming towels, movies, and books about Acadia. It's really awesome how the owners, Tom and Vickie, care about their customers. A downside was barely seeing the owners! We went in during their office hours but didn't see them. We received an invoice, and I was sad to not chat within our 48 hours of staying there. The 10am check out also was pretty brutal. You also clean your own cabin, which is okay, but we made breakfast and tea- doing dishes while packing up and paying the expensive price before 10? That was not great. It's pricey here, but it's so luxurious and beautiful, it's worth the splurge.

Everything about Harbour Cottage Inn from start to finish was perfect. The check-in was seamless and I was greeted warmly while being shown around the property. My room was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed and soft linens. The bathroom had all the necessary toiletries and the shower had ample water pressure. I appreciated all of the little touches from the afternoon sweet treats in the common area to the thoughtful breakfast dishes. I appreciated the endless supply of coffee and the fresh lemon water. It was wonderful to sit and enjoy breakfast on the patio as well as an evening meal when the dining area turned into the Bowspirit. All of the meals were absolutely phenomenal and some of the best I had while visiting Maine. I would not hesitate to come back and stay here again. Preferably sooner rather than later! The accommodation was top-notch, and the hospitality was superb.

Dora and Daniel welcomed our small group so warmly ,had helpful touring tips and are the BEST hosts. The bed was extremely comfortable with an abundance of covers (for those cold Maine nights!). This weekly rental is locally placed just a few blocks from the main street. This three story house…read morecan be rented out by one large group or can be broken into two separate rentals. One rental uses the lower two floors with the remaining third floor being the other rental. There is a detached building in the rear called the cottage which is also available for rent. The cottage sleeps four with two on a put out couch. The main house can sleep eight. Each bedroom has their own fabulously tiled bathroom with walk in showers. There is a large front porch and rear decks off of every floor. The kitchen has a commercial dishwasher which blasts out a load of dishes in less than three minutes. There are wood floors and tile floors throughout the house. Soft leather seating in the living room. A weekly rental is better priced to that of a B&B. However, you do need to do more of the work yourself.
