Melody is a wonderfully patient and caring person, this is the best part. The other best part is that she is an amazing organizer! She comes over, gets a sense of the need and also (importantly) what you as the client needs/prefers, as far as organizing, (does not push any one way of getting rid of/organizing stuff, she works within what your emotional health can handle) and then starts the work: goes right in, identifies the problem areas and gets straight to work. No dilly dallying no waiting around deciding what to do. She sees the issue and starts in on it. And to be clear, in the kindest most nonjudgemental way possible. She takes out boxes, empties them and asks about every little thing, down to organizing stray paper clips if that's your thing (We were organizing my desk) Much we were able to throw away/recycle- yay! But she also She noticed I was not very able to get rid of certain things - I am very sentimental and hang onto some things just because! - she asked, made suggestions on what to do with items, and if I really just had to keep them... found a way to organize even very small inconsequential items so that I feel comfortable to still have them, but they are organized and not clutter.
On my garage she enlisted her son Sage to help- wow the two of them were amazing, and helped clear out/organize a space in 6 hours that would have taken me 1 month. Sage too is very careful, kind and effective- even organizing boxes of old sentimental papers that I just had to keep in a way that made them easier to deal with when I am ready to part with them! Yes, I still have stuff (she didn't make me throw it all away!) yet its not clutter anymore, its well organized. (and a lot we did manage to part with too, with Melody and Sage's guidance - a lot donated - yay!)
I appreciate Peony Space Organizers so much and highly recommend them if you are looking for dependable, kind, honest and effective organizers. read more
