This place was recommended to me by a co-worker and so one day last Fall I tried them out by getting an oil change there. I was really pleased with their service, so when my car started acting up recently with some serious engine problems, I felt confident enough in their abilities to bring it to them. After calling ahead, I brought my car over there and walked back to my apartment just around the corner. A couple hours later, the mechanic working on my car made sure to call me and give me an estimate on how much the repairs would cost. Compared to other places (i.e., the dealership!), it was unbelievably cheap. When I got my car, I noticed an immediate difference. The engine was smoother than it had ever been and the pick-up was improved exponentially- much better results than I'd ever received at the dealership. Actually, I think they did more than was required. My only critique would be that they didn't call me when my vehicle was ready (I had to call for an update and found out that the car was ready several hours ago). But overall, these mechanics seem like a good bunch of guys who are honest and have a great work ethic. If you ever need a car repair or even your oil changed, this is the place to go. Far better than any overpriced dealership or crappy Jiffylube.

Looks like they have a very high standard on the vehicles they would like to repair, and if your car is not "good" enough, they will just find a simple excuse and refuse to do the repair. Many reasons can cause their refusal, sometimes they think the car is too old, sometimes they think the mileage is too high, sometimes they think you have already purchased the parts and won't do the repair. When they finally agree to do the repair, they treated rude and impatient to the customer, didn't answer your questions if we have any doubts. Unless I have no choice, I will never go to this place to fix my vehicle. Bad experience. Not recommend.

We were also told the vehicle had been driven an excessive number of miles since the last visit, which is simply not true. When we questioned this, our concerns were dismissed rather than explained. In the end, the original problem was never fixed, yet we were still expected to pay. We felt misled and rushed off without a resolution. Leaked oil all the way home and had oil spread all over the underside of the truck. I noticed the puddle on the pavement when I got home. Turned around and took it right back. Fixed and washed. 2nd visit - truck died on the road had it towed here where they found it was a failed high pressure oil pump. They offered to also fix the rip in the side panel of the drivers seat. Pump was replaced, but didn't work, so they had to go back in and replace it again. Got it back after a week. When they handed the keys back, I noticed 2 things, the replaced leather seat panel didn't match. Terrible job there. The truck isn't a show truck, so not that big of a deal. But the "oh heck" handle on the drivers side had been ripped out and was just hanging there. Nobody noticed this on the test drive? Kidding me? The manager even drove my truck to the office for me. Didn't even put it in Drive. They replaced the handle with one from a parts truck they had right there and then. 2 weeks later I had a towing job to pull a tractor to Charlotte. Well, first time the turbo went over 15 psi, the turbo hose blew off. The mechanics didn't know they had clean and tighten the hose clamps after the oil pump replacement. Stranded me on the road for an hour waiting for the turbo area to cool down enough to slip the hose back on and limp it home. On the towing return trip, the truck overheated, found that I had lost 3 gallons of coolant over the trip. Reason? The mechanics didn't put a radiator clamp on the upper radiator clamp! Was slowing leaking coolant. The guys are so very incompetent. Stay away!

Not wanting to pay dealership prices, I found these people and took my car in for a minor issue. Also ask them to change the oil and check the fluid levels and basically just check the car over. I was very pleased with the service and the level of expertise. They look my car over gave me a very honest assessment of what was going on and what needed to be addressed both sooner and later. They did a great job of playing out what the vehicle needed in both the short-term and the long term. One thing I appreciate it very much was the fact they did not try and pressure me into any sort of repair at all and we're very honest about what was needed on the vehicle and what needed to be addressed immediately versus what needed to be deferred or could be deferred on down the road. they're waiting area is very very nice with things like water and coffee available free of charge. It's also very bright and nicely decorated. Something I appreciate it because I decided to wait for my vehicle to be serviced on the premises. Staff is really really nice and like I said they're extremely knowledgeable about what's going on and we'll be straight up with you. And for the price, you get excellent service and and honest assessment of what's going on. They are not the cheapest in town, but they're not the most expensive either. I think the value is there and really worth the money. One thing I need to note is that they have a policy of not allowing people to bring their own parts. Some people I noticed in the reviews are upset about this, I for one and not one of them. I understand that they want to know where the parts are source for, if they have a warranty or not, and I'm okay with that. I would highly recommend these people!
