The Manager, Vince Lugo personally attended to us and spent nearly an hour with us, helping us find the right chairs for our waiting room. Since we are not local, he agreed to meet us on Sunday, to load our pick up truck, so we did not have to make extra trip. This is how you earn one's business, in a very competetive market. By the way, we did not purchase anything from MSI, yet we left the warehouse with very good feeling about our visit there and hoping to do business with them in very near future.

The frustration point is that the sales man was terrible. When asked what they have in the $150 range, he reluctantly asked: "used??!" When we said, "no, new", he took us to a dirty dusty chair that looked like it was from the 60s, brushed off the dirt from it and invited us to buy it!!! The chair is literally so horrible, one would not pay $1 at a yard sale for it. They would need to pay me, and pay me a lot, to take this crap home. This place is empty. Good luck selling may be one chair per month. There are so better chairs and prices at staples, we ended up getting 2 awesome ergonomic chairs from there on sale for $100 each. That desk was beat, it was small, and had I purchased it, I would have had to take it down a flight of stairs. I happened by Office Demands because theyre on the way to my office and wanted to see what they had in stock. They have a big warehouse with all kinds of office furniture: desks, chairs, filing cabinets, etc. After showing me some new desks, I asked the salesman, Ricardo, if he had any used desks. He showed me a nice big desk and credenza which was $125 for both pieces. I came back a few hours later, his guys loaded it and I was outta there. When i need filing cabinets, i'm definitely going back here first.

If you are looking for a new desk, do not shop here! They are good for used desks that they have on…read morehand. If you need to order a new desk it will take months to get it! We ordered and paid for a desk with L-return and file cabinet on May 15 with instructions to hold until last week in June as we were remodeling our office and other rooms. When it came time to have it delivered, I called Dirk and he said he would check to see when it could be delivered. I waited and waited for several days and no call. Dirk has zero customer service skills as he doesn't keep you in the loop. I had to always be the one to make the phone call to him! When he finally had news to tell us he said we could only get the desk (not the return) and the file cabinet. Apparently a back order... which led me to believe our order never went to the vendor on May 15 as it should have! We received our desk and file cabinet around June 30. Waited another week or so to see when we'd hear from Dirk about the return and no call. So I again had to initiate the call to find out when we could expect the return. He said he'd check on it and get back with us. Didn't happen...I had to call again! He said since there's a back order on the 42" return (due to tariffs and ICE raids!) they had a 48" return we could have. After measuring our office to see if it would fit, I called him and told him yes, we could take the 48." Naturally if someone has an item in stock, it's usually shipped within a day or 2, right? Nope, not with Valuemander! After 4 days, I had to call again to get an update when we could expect the 48" return and Dirk had the nerve to laugh at my question! Really?? I didn't think it was funny! He said he'd call me on Monday (this was a Saturday). Monday came and went, no call from Dirk, Tuesday and Wednesday came and went and no call from Dirk. I had my husband call on Thursday as I knew if I talked to Dirk, I'd have a few choice words with him! Dirk told him we can expect the return on Wednesday July 23 around 8:30 am (mind you we ordered the desk on May 15th!). Dirk said he'd call us on Wednesday morning to confirm a driver to deliver. Hubby had to call him a little after 9am and Dirk said he'd call back in 10 minutes. At 9:55 Dirk called to say the return would be delivered at 11:45 which they did. I'm inputting a lot of detail in this review because I want to stress the lack of communication and customer service from this company. No one should have to go through what we did to get a new desk and file cabinet in the time frame from when it was ordered and paid for! Someone dropped the ball and didn't have the courtesy to admit it!

We started working with Meraki in September 2017 on a new office acquisition. The furniture we needed included about 40 cubicles, furniture for 8 offices, a conference room and a reception area. We placed the order (and paid) on October 13, 2017. We had originally agreed on a cubicle installation date of December 1st. I followed up multiple times on this date and I was told over and over than everything was on track. On November 27th I asked for an update, I was told that the cubes wouldn't be ready for installation until the 14th of December. A two week delay which I was only being told about 4 days before we were supposed to install. After some more back and forth and one delay after another, our cubicles didn't get installed until December 24th and I got to spend Christmas weekend moving in to a new suite. They also delivered the wrong chairs. I was told those were the chairs I ordered, even though the photos I was sent were completely different. And then they had the audacity to send me an invoice for the correct chairs because they were more expensive. Our conference table was also incorrect. I was told the correct conference table would be installed in just a few weeks as it was back ordered. Here we are, March 7th (3 months later) and our new conference table was installed. They literally took two pieces and put them together to make one large conference table. It has to be a joke, I thought, or a mistake. But nope, that's the way it's supposed to be. Not like I was told about any of it. I even asked for photos of the conference room so I could confirm what it would look like and it did not look like what we received at all. So after all of this, spending $90,000 on furniture and going back and forth for almost 6 months, they have done absolutely NOTHING to remedy this horrible service. I have a two square conference tables pushed together to create one table (that we paid thousands of dollars for), I had to pay employees for almost a month for doing nothing because they had no where to sit and couldn't come to work and we're out a fortune on sub par furniture.
