You'll head up the the second floor. 2R. Once on the second floor you'll walk out the back door of the elevator. You will need a drivers license or government form of ID. You'll fill out your request via kiosk. Put in a cell or email and they will call or email you when ready. When the application asks for the birth parent's info thrybreally want yours. Kiosk isn't the greatest to use as it has glitches. Just take your time and you'll make it through the systems errors. We were in and out in a jiffy. There is even a small cafe.

This station is the largest fire and EMS station in Peoria. The station name is technically Gene Mason Fire Station No. 1. Out front is a memorial. As the largest station, they have the most engines. Included is a ladder truck. Interesting fact. There is a way firefighters can attach to air while at the top of the ladder. This way, valuable time is not wasted with them coming down the ladder when their tanks get low. The ladder truck carries the spreader, a.k.a. jaws of life. In the City of Peoria, fire stations are not only fire stations. The fire station are fire and EMS. EMS, or emergency medical services, makes up approximately 80% of their calls. Here, all fire fighters must also be trained EMTs or paramedics. On top of medical services for humans, their trucks carry a small emergency medical bag for pets. This bag is only for extreme emergencies; when a pet is trapped in a fire. Otherwise, pets need to go to the proper veterinarian office.

The water quality here is so bad we are afraid to let our dogs drink it. The fees are pretty high for water, but that's not my main complaint. My main complaint is the customer service. They are all useless. If you call customer service, they clearly don't know what they are doing. I got shut off once because we could not afford the $250 bill because I am disabled and my wife's hours were cut. Sure, that's partially on us cause we couldn't afford it, but they didn't really work with us to help us pay it either. After we were able to get the money to pay the bill, (they make you pay it online then verify the confirmation number over the phone). The lady told us the water would be back on the same day with no extra fee.. then later in the same call stated "Oh, there will be a reconnection fee now cause it's after 3pm, do you want to wait until tomorrow to avoid the fee?" No! I do not want to wait in Arizona summer heat to have my water turned back on! Also, their online chat does not work. It redirects you to wait for an agent, then disconnects you. So I used the message system they have on their site to complain about it and all they said was "we know it's broken." Then why is it still an option for customers? They push for customers to use it even! Also, whenever I use the message system, I don't get good answers back, they always state the obvious and don't address my questions or problem. Lastly, their website doesn't break down your bill when you want to pay, and for some reason a lot of the time it schedules the payment for the next day instead of taking it right out, especially on weekends. I feel like for such a big company this shouldn't be a problem. TLDR; Epcor customer service is frustrating as their reps are not very good and/or poorly trained, their online chat is broken, replies through their website message system only state the obvious, are limited responses, and are not helpful in any way. The online payment system is not efficient and could be better for such a big company.

He does ask if you have an appointment. I explained what I needed and he told me they could help without an appointment. Great! I was directed to the kiosk to check in and get my number for staff assistance. They were 5 staffers working. I noticed that service seemed fairly quick so I was hopeful the wait would be short. If the wait was long, I would have to leave for my other appointment. Numbers are called over a PA system and a board on the wall shows what number is being helped and which window. That's helpful. There is a last call for a number if you didn't hear the original call. About 40 minutes later, my number was called. I was quickly helped and received what I wanted. Not bad at all. The 911 operator carefully listened to my concerns, honored my request for a silent response, and clearly communicated the situation to the responding units. Seven officers and several fire department members arrived and handled everything with patience, kindness, and respect, taking time to explain what they were doing and to reassure our family. A special mention to the female officer who gently spoke with my mother and helped calm her down--her empathy made a huge difference. I would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to Sergeant K. Scheideman for his calm, steady leadership throughout the incident. His demeanor set the tone for the entire team and turned an overwhelming situation into one where we felt truly supported and cared for. I am deeply grateful to the Peoria Police Department and highly commend them for their service.

They have a sign posted (registered appointment line up here (left side) and non registered appointments line up here (right side). I drove a senior to the office and there were no lines, she only needed an award form. The representative on the phone said go in and explain what you need. To our surprise and dismay both security officers turned us away and said go online and make an appointment. One of the main issues is many seniors are not technology savvy and need a human being to assist them. Immediately I had to call SSA, wait 15 minutes (thank goodness), to ask the representative to mail her the form needed. I will say it has enough security features / barriers inside that you can't just walk in. The Front office security definitely needs to show a little more respect and kindness and towards people in general entering the office. Yes, I know they run into people who are aggressive, upset and have bad behavior but they should not taken that attitude towards everyone else who arrives for assistance.
