Seven officers and several fire department members arrived and handled everything with patience, kindness, and respect, taking time to explain what they were doing and to reassure our family. A special mention to the female officer who gently spoke with my mother and helped calm her down--her empathy made a huge difference. I would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to Sergeant K. Scheideman for his calm, steady leadership throughout the incident. His demeanor set the tone for the entire team and turned an overwhelming situation into one where we felt truly supported and cared for. Vital registration is on the second floor, once you get there you fill out information on a kiosk and then they ask you to wait in lobby until you get a text or call to come to a desk. Employees were friendly and helpful. Process Was quick and was able to walk out with a birth certificate within 30 minutes.

You'll head up the the second floor. 2R. Once on the second floor you'll walk out the back door of the elevator. You will need a drivers license or government form of ID. You'll fill out your request via kiosk. Put in a cell or email and they will call or email you when ready. When the application asks for the birth parent's info thrybreally want yours. Kiosk isn't the greatest to use as it has glitches. Just take your time and you'll make it through the systems errors. We were in and out in a jiffy. There is even a small cafe.

I could do the transactions by mail but they are only 2.5 miles away. Whether it was filling out a business license or just paying a bill they have always been helpful. Customer service has the nicest people. If I don't know something all I have to do is ask and someone finds the answer for me. I am never treated as an inconvenience, I am always treated like a valued customer. Even when I have had a problem they just act like it is an everyday event and it is fixed usually while I wait. She even contacted the other party before my visit was over, which cut into my limited time. This behavior was unprofessional and biased. The reports from my visits were falsified. When I questioned the inaccuracies, my services were terminated instead of corrected. On top of that, private emails I sent were shared directly with the opposing party. It's also important for parents to know that you are not allowed to wear a camera or recording device for your own protection. That means you have no way to prove what actually happened if the reports are inaccurate. This process is supposed to be neutral, but in reality it felt biased and harmful. If you are forced to work with this organization, document everything carefully, but understand you will not be allowed to protect yourself with recordings. To be very clear, Yes she would be committing perjury which people do in family court all the time with no consequences. All you have to do is a little research on this business and you will find things that make complete sense to what I am saying. The Supervisor cut my time 10 minutes short, and I let her know that I did not appreciate that. I let Deana know the situation, and it resulted in retaliation of an untrue report. You are not allowed to document or record anything so they can say whatever they would like. The supervisor made it seem as though I did not care for my child, when I was attentive to my son thee whole time. Checked his diaper atleast 10 times through out the 4 hours up until the very last 5 minutes of my time with my son. She exclaimed I didn't bring toys or snacks and acted as though I didn't feed my son. The Library is filled with toys. His mother brought his food in a lunch box as per our communication prior to the visit. She left out anything good I did with him, such as play legos, read books, play with puppets, chased him around, cleaned his face and hands with wipes on 4 separate occasions, tried giving him water every 5-10 minutes, checked his diaper at least 2 times for every 30 minutes I was there. There wasn't a second of my time where I wasn't attentive to my son. I have videos, pictures, and a timeline of the events that occurred. Do your research before you use this business!
