They have helped with flat tire fixes, batteries and scheduled maintenance. Even when I dropped my washer fluid cap inside the engine! They got it out without any charge. They really care about their customers unlike the major car dealership in town. If you need your car taken care of, you can't go wrong with Point S East Hill Tire in Kent.

Shortly after the service, I noticed a loud whining noise coming from the rear end. When I brought it back, they claimed they did nothing wrong, but offered to replace the axle bearings and seals for free. When I picked up my car, they told me it wasn't safe to drive on the freeway--this was shocking considering the car had always been well-maintained and in great shape. I then took my Mustang to Central Automotive for a second opinion. Their inspection found internal scarring where the axle seals sit, plus significant metal fragments on the internal magnet. In the end, the entire rear end had to be rebuilt--an extremely expensive repair that should never have been necessary after a simple fluid change. Central Automotive did a fantastic job fixing it, but I will never return to Point S/Easthill Tire. What should have been routine maintenance turned into a costly and stressful ordeal.

East Hill Auto Service - The same front wheel, blackened by brake dust, one week after having last cleaned/scrubbed it.

Avoid This Shop Unless You Enjoy Wasting Money and Time…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. More than two years ago, I brought my car in for a simple front brake pad and rotor replacement, and now--after THREE visits to (supposedly) replace the offending cheap brake pads they originally installed--the issue of the ongoing, excessive black brake dust covering my front wheels still hasn't been resolved. Each time, I was assured the problem was taken care of--and each time, I left with the exact same mess. At this point, I'm seriously wondering if this shop ever actually replaced the brake pads after the first time, since there's never been any evidence that they did. Rommel is full of promises but short on results. He either doesn't know what he's doing or simply doesn't care--and I'm honestly not sure which is worse. When he had the audacity to ask me to bring my car in a FOURTH TIME (seriously?), I instead asked him for a refund of the $604 I had initially paid him. He refused, claiming, "That wouldn't be fair." I'D LOVE TO KNOW WHAT'S FAIR ABOUT A 74-YEAR-OLD WOMAN HAVING TO CLEAN SOLID BLACK BRAKE DUST OFF HER FRONT WHEELS (WEEKLY!) FOR 2.5 YEARS--ALL THANKS TO THE CHEAP BRAKE PADS ROMMEL USED, WHICH HE (quite laughably) PROMISED ME WERE "BETTER THAN ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT." My recent plan was to take this unethical "businessman" (I use that term lightly) to Small Claims Court, but I realized that (Rommel being Rommel) the likelihood of him showing up was pretty much nil. And even if I won the judgment--as I surely would--I would most likely never see a dime of that money again. If you're looking for competent, honest auto service, keep driving. This place is where cars--and customer service--go to die.

I stopped in without an appointment and they were able to get me taken care of. I dealt with Marlene and Don and they were both nice and 100% honest with me. They gave me an estimate which told me exactly what I was going to get and the exact price. No BS. I like that kind of business and honesty. They fixed my car and I paid exactly what I was quoted and picked my car up the next day. My wife's car was driving MUCH better. I am happy I went to them and don't get the low reviews. They are a small business and I am happy to support them and would go there again. Good experience for me at least. Thank you!

Following their instructions, I obtained two written estimates: $1,712.30 from a reputable body shop of my choosing $1,692.14 from the body shop Kent Auto Repair recommended Both estimates clearly document the hood damage and the cost to repair it. Despite admitting they caused the damage and directing me to obtain estimates -- including one from their own referral -- Kent Auto Repair later stated that both estimates were "too high" and refused to pay. They have not offered any alternative solution or provided any legitimate reason for rejecting the estimate from the shop they recommended. Because the business reversed its position and refused to take responsibility, I have had to involve my insurance company to assist with resolving the damage they caused.

After about 4 hours, I received a call with a quote of nearly $1,600 to replace all four rotors and brake pads. I later called another shop and got an estimate for the exact same work at $1,200, which confirmed that their quote was on the very high side. I declined the work and went to pick up my car. I was told they did a minor cleaning of the brakes to reduce the noise, and I was charged a little over $100. Unfortunately, the brakes squeaked exactly the same as when I brought it in. I didn't make a big deal about that since the underlying issue wasn't addressed -- but when I got home, I noticed my hubcaps hadn't even been removed. That really made me question whether any work was actually performed at all. Between the high pricing, the ineffective "fix," and the suspicion that my car may have just sat in the shop while I still paid over $100, I will not be returning here. I would recommend that others get a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs at this shop.

I recently started working close by though and have been to the location about 6 times in the past 6 months trying to get my oil changed, and been informed that they are either experiencing issues or are short staffed that day, so even though there's only one car ahead of me, there's a big wait (like 30+ minutes). Whatever, I have gotten my oil changed elsewhere on those occasions. Today though I needed my oil changed before I took a little road trip after work. I went on my lunch break and they said they were working on a fleet for a rental car company so I may want to come back later. I came back after my shift, and was able to get in within 15 minutes. Score! However, Dylan and McKenzie were definitely not on the same page. Dylan was clearly frustrated as McKenzie was rushing him for my milage, and details of my car while he was still greeting me and getting my information, not even to the screen he needed to be on to get my milage yet. She also almost hit in in the face with what I think was my dipstick and he had to cover his face and dodge it. I was 100% on team Dylan at first, but then McKenzie came over to get another piece of information as he was explaining the oil options to me, and he snapped at her and told her to never do that again. He apologized to me - presumably for the disruption - but I really hope he also apologized to her for snapping at her like that, especially in front of a customer. I totally get being frustrated with either a situation or a coworker, but there are better ways to handle that, and being disrespectful to them and borderline yelling is not the way to do it. Overall, seems like they need better processes to get info to each other, and maybe need to understand respectful communication a bit better. I'll probably be back for the convenience aspect, but if I can go somewhere else for my oil changes I probably will.
