I took my 2014 Mustang (only 66k miles, in excellent condition) to Point S/Easthill Tire and while there had the differential fluid changed at their recommendation. Shortly after the service, I noticed a loud whining noise coming from the rear end. When I brought it back, they claimed they did nothing wrong, but offered to replace the axle bearings and seals for free. When I picked up my car, they told me it wasn't safe to drive on the freeway--this was shocking considering the car had always been well-maintained and in great shape. I then took my Mustang to Central Automotive for a second opinion. Their inspection found internal scarring where the axle seals sit, plus significant metal fragments on the internal magnet. In the end, the entire rear end had to be rebuilt--an extremely expensive repair that should never have been necessary after a simple fluid change. Central Automotive did a fantastic job fixing it, but I will never return to Point S/Easthill Tire. What should have been routine maintenance turned into a costly and stressful ordeal. read more

LoL, this was months ago. You're just now responding. Wow wow!!!! NO POLICE CAME!!! Yes you could say it was road rage from the O'Reilly driver. I almost hit her. On top of it she flipped me off. Your employees decided to get involved that worked in the Bay. After speaking to the staff in the office, I left the inside of your establishment. I also sat outside for 10-15 minutes before I left. Your staff decided to talk sh*t and I returned the same energy with some few choice words. I'm about mying, I was PISSED . I was no angel either. Also, If you want to allow your employees to swear at your potential customers. It makes no difference to me. I just know, I will never come there, nor will I send anyone there for business. I had a Crack in a Tesla rim that was going to take weeks to order a new one. I have another set of rims but on snow tires and it's 90° out which would destroy the tires. I needed a cheap set of tires for a month or so until my new rim was delivered and point s had the most competitive prices. Called a bunch a places with no luck to troubleshoot a slow leaking tire before an hour drive back to where we were staying and Point S East Hill Tire was able to see us immediately. I've been going to East Hill Tire Factory for several years now and was a little surprised to be greeted with a Point S logo. When did that happen?! I went inside to find the same people I've worked with many times over and they confirmed that my warranty and all that jazz is still good. As predicted, they weren't able to save my tire, but they were able to have a new one ordered and ready for the next day. It was suggested that I leave the tire with them so that they could prep it the next day and just slap it on - way to streamline things! As usual, service was friendly and fast with great communication about what was going on. I was able to get in and out both times quickly and they were more than happy to adjust the price on the new tire to meet the remaining warranty I had on the old one. I had an issue with my alternator which was replaced by a different shop and was going bad again 3 months later. I was having a very difficult time getting the part warrantied and Rob was so incredibly helpful in getting it sorted out. Hate turning my car over to anyone. The 3 times I've gone to East Hill Tire have been surprisingly positive. Bought 4 tires at the South Park location years ago. Didn't try to upsell me and just got the job done. Got a flat a few years later and took it to the East Hill location. Free fix in about 20 minutes. Niece left her car here for a while and we took it for an inspection. A few minor fixes that I ended up doing myself but also recommended 2 new front tires. They obviously needed to be replaced but I appreciated not having been sold 4 tires. The guy I've been dealing with at the desk has been pleasant and friendly. Looks like it's probably a halfway decent place to work. Always a good thing if you're the customer. read more

East Hill has been in this location for ages, and there's a reason why - they do it right. Took the old rust bucket in because it was shaking more than usual on 167. Got there around 3:30 in the afternoon, and I knew I was in the right place when I found there was only one parking space available. I went in and asked about having my wheels balanced, and they took me right away - first surprise - I was expecting to make an appointment or something. They asked me to drive the car over to the bay. The techs met me at the bay, and I told them what was going on - ending by saying that I wanted them to make the call on what was going on. So I left my trusty steed and went and hung in their lounge - which actually seems like a lounge - TV, bathrooms, comfy seats. I turned down the TV (no one else was there waiting) and I read the paper, perused the magazines, and used the facilities. Next thing I know, maybe thirty minutes later, one of the guys came and said that my car was ready. Turns out I had *three* wheels out of balance - no wonder I couldn't tell where the vibration was coming from! Paid my bill and was back on the road with my car running like a well oiled machine (which is usually is). While I was there I noticed that the place is called "Tire Center" - there did seem to be a lot of new tires (and wheels, and chains, and cables - save that for the next snow) on display. Depending on how much rubber I burn through now that the car is running well, I may be back for some new slicks for my newly balanced beast! I'm one of those Asian girl drivers that had her parents drive her all over the place from the time I was born to the time I left for college. Once in college and the during the first few years of having a full-time job, I've never been behind the wheel of a vehicle only until a couple years ago. The first car I've driven in about a 6-year hiatus was a brand new car. Spiffy features that I've never seen before and that new car smell and everything. Given that I'm a pretty jumpy person, I totally freaked out the first time my car started screaming at me about LOW TIRE PRESSURE! I panicked...called my parents, boyfriend, sister, and cat...and all told me that I should calm down and that I just needed to put air in my tires (except my cat...he didn't give a f*ck, he just wanted to be fed). And they mentioned if I was still worried, then maybe I should bring it in to a tire shop. Low and behold, I came across this small business with generally good ratings. I told them that I suspect I might need some tire repair and asked to schedule an appointment to come in. I was hoping to get in the same day I called and they said that there was no need to schedule an appointment and I just needed to go in. There were maybe one or two people ahead of me at the time I came in that afternoon, but it took an hour and a half for them to get back to me. Not entirely sure why it would take so long, but the wait wasn't too uncomfortable. There was WiFi for you to use, but it is very slow. I could barely run Netflix off my laptop. But at least there were clean restrooms for you to use and an enclosed waiting room inside the store that wasn't directly connected to a door that would let the cold air from people coming and going. They did a pretty good job on removing a giant nail from my right rear tire (so glad I listened to my paranoia and took my car in!). And the tire repair was pretty cheap. That's a lot coming from me since I hate spending money on things I need versus things I want. Just thought the service wouldn't take as long as it did. I'll be back, but maybe I'll try coming in first thing on a Saturday morning instead of a couple hours before they close. read more

So, I made the 25 min drive out of my way, and they got me in quickly, 45 minutes before they closed. Conveniently located at Benson and 256th, East Hill Tire squeezed me in for a tire rotation before my big drive south last week. While I did have to wait over an hour for someone to be available, the waiting area was clean and comfortable and had wifi so I was set. They appear to be a full service tire and mechanical shop and the staff were friendly. This place isn't fancy, but I like that. It is about the work, not the show. The price for the rotate was the best I found in Kent. They also provided me with emailed quotes to change out my well-worn tires. I brought my car here to get the belts replaced and also a new engine mount. Service was friendly and the employees were all very sweet. They called me to update frequently and left my car locked up overnight so it would be safe. I even got the guy to give me a little bit of a discount which was fantastic! My sister also came here for a flat tire and they patched it up with the quickness and even loaded it into my car while we were paying (she didn't have a decent spare so we had to bring in just the tire lol). Went to Les Shwaub! They Told me I needed to replace all 4 tires and just said the manufacturer recommends it and wouldn't change the two I needed. Went to East Hill Tire. They recommended 4 tires. However, they would change the two. They gave me great explanation on how it would burn out the transmission if I changed just two on my AWD. They gave me a trade in on my newer back tires and gave me 4 new tires for half the price of Les Shwaub! Never going anywhere else for tires! Great customer service! read more

i have been here before and my repair bill has never been under $ 1200.00 dollars . and i have found that to be very curious .! well this time i took my vehical there so they could use there auto computer reader to find a electrical short causing a problem . well as i did most of the work as far as building a pigtail connector and installing it worked great .! . well when i built this connector . i ohms tested every step of the process and each time it was perfect .! witch was no surprise in my 26 years i have built thousands of connections . and as always i test every step of the way so there cant be an error . well this pigtail connector was a very special connector . i tested it 14 times as i built it.and tested it on the back side of the connectors before shrink tubed them permnently in to there place. well i told them very spacificaly that all they needed to do was remove the gorilla glue duct tape from the fanand slip out the connector . well there electical guy is a hack ( very bad ) at best .! not only did he destroy the pigtail he pulled it out on one side to make it look like it went bad and the part that pissed me off was that he used a cigerette lighter to burn the wire. one spot bad enough to exspose 1/8 th inch of wire. and a second one to make it look like it was over heating on that spot . now i have been working on wireing for a very long time .! i repair electrical equipment all the time and install wireing in homes and i go out of my way to use the best quility wire and connectorsi can find.! and i use wire 1 higher grade for best continuity ( connection and electrical signal return ) possible .!so for them to have done this pissed me off .!and whats worseis they made a shitty pig tail and zip tyed it in.! now i am worryed about a fire hazard .!so i am going to repair it with the correct connection . now they aded a red wire and changed my ( sapposedly) bad sensor that i just bought that they said was not ( oem ) original manufactrer product .this i am going to leave alone because its possible.! so when all is said and done. it took me 10 minutes to change a sensor.20 minutes to build a perfect pigtail connector thats 10 times better than ( oem ) 20 minutes to take out the fan install the pigtail and put the fan back in its correct place 2- 10 mm bolts is all it has keeping it in place. and 20 minutes to replace a headlight assembly and bulb. 20 minutes to change the oil . so lets say $ 130.00 per hour. these item could have been done in no longer than 2 hours. now for parts head light assembly $ 100.00. bulb $ 20.00 dollars.now my bill should not have went above $ 390.00 - $ 400.00 .! but my bill came in at $ 650.00 plus now i needed some other things done.!i told them that in order for me to do that my bill with tax can,t be more than $1,300.00 they said ok( we can )work with that .! so the work gets done and the bill comes to $1,383.00 before tax.! after tax $1,530.00.! now this is not what we agrred on.! it was no more than $ 1,300.00 with tax included.! a differance of $ 230.00. nowi was going to use progressive leaseing to pay for this and make monthly payments to them . but they did not tell me before the aplication process that there is an imedit charge of $ 49.00 + tax it came out to $ 54.00 and change well im glad i did not have the money in my pocket to do this .! because if i had done this it would of ment paying { $ 3,478.00 } at $ 285.00 per month for 12 months . now my bill should have been { $ 890.00 } with tax. but it was not.! so in conclusion .! if i had done the progressive lease for { $ 3,478.00 } i would of been taken to the cleaners for a grand total of { $ 2,588.00 } above honest and fair charges .! now to be fair they are freindly but earge with exstreme caution to get quotes from every where as this was a very offsetting exsperiance .! when i did go to pay and i said i am paying another way the desk jockey had a stuned responce that i could not miss .! read more

Got my car in to this place for an oil change. I have a coupon I clipped from super saver for $22.99. I had to make an appointment for the oil change cause they are busy on the day I came. When I came in to my appointment my car was taken and I was told it will take 1 hour. They told me they need to do tire rotation and everything cause it comes with the service. 1 hour passed and my car was done. When I got home I noticed that my tire was not rotated. So I decided to look at the receipt and the service description. On it it says, wash windows and vacuum and tire rotated. All that was a lie because my car was not vacuumed and the window was still dirty and like I said the the tire were not rotated. I wonder what else they lied about on the service service description. I will not come back there no matter how cheap they are. read more

Although they said it would only take an hour, Gib took my car for a test drive and found that it still needed a little bit more. He could have just said that it was done, but really went above and beyond to make sure the car was done right.
